THE SCENIC SPEECH IN ARTISTIC FENCING: EXPERIENCE AND PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE // Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 1 (15). P. 178-186

Both technical and scenic components of artistic fencing training were actualized by the aim of increase of effectiveness and quality of staged fights. The necessity of teaching opponents the basis of staged speech was revealed by exploring the artistic feature of their diverse creating. It stems from the fact that many classical battle plots cannot be implemented on the stage without considering this skill. The importance of staged speech was proved by the factthat the members of the leading Russian artistic fencing teams necessarily posses it. The fact that “live speech” is more preferable than recorded voices even in the case of sport competitions was stated as the result of exploring the performances of The Russian Championship 2015. Hence, together with developing the sport, the refusal of recorded voices will be inevitable, and sportsmen will study staged speech. Moreover, it clarified, that intonation patterns and pauses help clearly highlight the apparent fighters’ motives and intensions. That was successfully illustrated by the example of working with staged speech in the “Alternative Scene” performance. The effectiveness of methods of stage speech trainings which are presented in the article was proved by the fact that performance «The Alternative Scene» by postgraduate student Sergey Shmat’ko and associate professor Viktor Lobanov (duet nomination, freestyle) was awarded the 2nd place at the Russian Artistic Fencing Championship 2016 as a result of high-quality artistic acting.

EXPERT EXAMINATION OF EXTRA-TRAINING SPORTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AS A RESOURCE OF METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 3 (31). P. 85-93

Teaching students to develop and form educational programs is an actual task for teachers of a pedagogical university. Special requirements apply to training students in development of extra-training educational programs aimed at physical education and sports, since the quality of such programs determines not only competitive progress, but also maintaining the health of students. Training quality and methodological literacy of students in the development of modern extra-training educational programs is largely defined by the regularity of educational practices monitoring and it’s reflection in programs as methodical documents. Under Russian conditions, various federal, regional and municipal expert (and competitive) events to evaluate educational programs can be considered as the basis for monitoring. Understanding of expertise as a valuable resource to improve students’ methodological literacy is determined by the fact that at present time in the Tomsk region, expert evaluation activity of educational programs during contests and other events has become systematic for for teachers conducting pedagogical disciplines. The author’s experience in analyzing physical education and sports programs at the regional stage of the Russian National contest of extra-training general developmental programs (including different-level ones) and as a part of regional project “Every Child’s Success”, independently evaluating the quality of extra-training educational programs, made it possible to examine the methodological deficiencies of teachers working in physical education and sports. Generalization of their typical mistakes turned out to be promising for the correction of practices of teaching students to develop modern educational programs and related features.

    Ideas of domestic 20th century educators on upbringing of a collective-oriented person // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 6 (52). P. 113-121

This article is devoted to analysis of domestic experimenter-educators’ pedagogical heritage, that has not lost its relevance now. Upbringing goals shaped by government requests, society or special social groups are considered in the article in the light of realization of specific social needs. It was noted, that domestic educators coincide that a socially oriented personality upbringing is carried out most effectively in a friendly team consisting of children and adults. In conditions of collective activity, due to purposeful pedagogical influence, a person has an urgent need to act not only for the benefit of his own team, but also for the common good. The predecessor educators’ experience showed that the educational process is generally focused on the assimilation of the full amount of knowledge of the school curriculum. However, upbringing of a socially and collectively oriented personality and formation of their civilian and patriotic ideals is even more important. It becomes obvious that the rapidly progressing development of the expected qualities of young people can be clearly observed in the implementation of socially significant collective social initiatives. Practice has shown that this approach to education and upbringing throughout the twentieth century has been successfully implemented with the collectivist attitudes. It is known that a collectively oriented personality is distinguished by willingness to voluntary be in a suitable team. It is the principle of voluntary that makes it possible to coordinate individual’s interests and solution of a common pedagogical task – the upbringing of a socially oriented personality at the local level of particular team. As a conclusion, it is emphasized that the current state of the Russian education sector was largely predetermined by theory and practice of outstanding thinkers and educators of the 20-th century.
