ANALYSES AND VALUE-MEANING INTERPRETATION OF A MUSICAL WORK AS PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 6 (40). P. 38-44

The article observes the problem of analyses and interpretation of a piece of music from the point of view of music theorists and music teachers. The variability of approaches to the analysis is substantiated due to the category of the listeners, the genre of a piece of music, the uniqueness, the level of complexity and duration of the sound, the uniqueness of the composer’s worldview. Certain types of analysis, depending on the target orientation, are characterized, difficulties and ways of overcoming them are indicated. Analysis of an instrumental works from the point of view of intonation theory (intonation-figurative analysis) is a kind of social, historical, artistic research, in which it is necessary to organize communication between children and the author and performers of the composition in the form of a live dialogue aimed at immersion in the artistic-figurative world of the work, identifying meaning and emotional-value relations, embodied in images-intonations, the formation of one’s own attitude towards him (V. V. Medushevsky). The presented types of music studying analyses are used in the practice of music education of schoolchildren, depending on the characteristics of the work and the preferences of the teacher. An example of musical and pedagogical analysis of an instrumental piece by students is shown as one of the possible options for using in pedagogical practice with secondary school students.

TO THE PROBLEM OF FORMATION OF MUSIC TASTE OF ADOLESCENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 3 (43). P. 26-33

The reasons for the enthusiasm of teenagers and young people for entertainment show products and the rejection by many of them of samples of serious classical music, which forms a true musical taste, are analyzed. The definition of musical taste is substantiated as the ability to listen, hear and enjoy artistically valuable music, taste as one of the elements of the triune task of studying music at school - the formation of interest in life through passion for music, creative artistic and figurative thinking, taste. It is recommended to listen to not only classical music with schoolchildren, but the best examples of pop music, to discuss dignities and defects of them, that permit to improve the taste and avoid confrontation between the teacher and children, also classical music and music of modern genre and direction. Quantitative and qualitative results of studying the musical needs of adolescents by students as one of the indicators of the level of formation of musical tastes are given. The interpretation of the results confirmed the dependence of the level of formation of musical taste on systematic music lessons, the repertoire on which the musical taste of children is brought up, on the level of professionalism of the teacher-musician.

MUSIC OF RUSSIAN COMPOSERS IN EDUCATION OF TEENAGERS AS PATRIOTS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 6 (46). P. 114-121

The article observes the problem of patriotic education of teenagers in modern condition of information war, which is also aimed at the younger generation. It marks the destructive influence of consumer subculture, domination of pseudo-art over true art and culture, which leads to deformation of value understanding about truth, kindness and beauty, sense of patriotism and love for Motherland. The irreplaceable role of art in the patriotic education of modern teenagers is substantiated by nothing else, since the emotional and sensual component (love for the motherland and its people, pride in past victories in the struggle for independence, cultural achievements of our time and attachment to native places) is the main content of the concept of «patriotism» and works of art. Music, in contact with the subtlest movements of the human soul, is closer than other forms of art to the very essence of the sublime in nature, society, and the individual life of a person. Examples of the realization of the educational possibilities of works by domestic composers of a patriotic orientation (A. P. Borodin, D. D. Shostakovich, G. V. Sviridov) by students-musicians during pedagogical practice in a comprehensive school are given. The choice of creations reflects different periods of Russian history: from XII century till our days. Justification of the methodical approaches in solving the problems of patriotic education of teenagers on the examples of listening and performance of the music of the Russian composers is confirmed by the data of oral and written interviews of 7th grade students, which allow us to estimate a fairly high level of their patriotic education at this age stage of development.

Scientific research practice as a means of developing methodological culture of teacher-musician // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 3 (55). P. 47-53

The problem of the insufficiency of the methodological culture of a teacher-musician is considered, the reasons for its emergence in the professional sphere and in the system of musical pedagogical training of students as future teacher-researchers are analyzed. This is a systematic indifferent attitude towards the school subject “Music” as a “peripheral” one, as well as the specificity of the training profile, due to the creative nature of the training context, which presupposes particularly labor-intensive and labor-intensive musical performance training. The role of educational practice (research work) in arousing interest to this type of professional training and involving students in design and research work is substantiated. Its positive influence and effectiveness are shown, expressed in active participation in research conferences and scientific and methodological seminars with reports and publication of scientific articles, development of creative research projects. The results of a questionnaire survey of 4th year students who had an annual educational practice (research work) are presented. The answers of the interviewees confirmed the increase of their methodical literacy, interest, activity and effectiveness in design and research activities, its positive influence on forming of methodical culture and, in general, professional culture of the future music teacher.

Formation of culture of multinational communication in general and professional musical education // Pedagogical Review. 2025. Issue 2 (60). P. 7-15

The article actualizes the problem of formation of culture of intercultural communication in the conditions of constant growth of migration of people within the country and in the world as a whole as a condition of survival in a modern multicultural and multinational society. The views and positions of Russian scientists on the formation of a culture of interethnic communication of the younger generations are shown, the importance of nurturing a culture of feelings, conscience, ethnic self-awareness and multicultural education in our multinational country is indicated. The educational potential of music in the formation of a culture of intercultural communication among schoolchildren is noted. Music expresses the composer’s thoughts and feelings in sound forms and serves as a means of communication between people separated in time and space. The priority significance of music in the modern adult and youth community is noted, which is important to use in the educational process for creative influence on the formation of a culture of intercultural communication. The solution to this problem is shown using the example of the implementation of the regional component of general and professional music education in the Republic of Khakassia, where the expansion of ideas about the history, customs, traditions and specifics of the musical art of the Khakass people is of particular importance. Local study of materials, being integrated into the federal program on music, does not violate its thematic structure. Specific examples of the methodology for implementing regional musical material and a qualitative description of student research are given, which to date demonstrate positive results in the formation of a culture of intercultural communication – mutual understanding and peacefulness in interethnic relations in the student and school environment.

Keywords: international communication, multicultural education and learning, school, children, influence of music, regional component
