Design of a mentor training program in the context of implementation of interaction between an industrial enterprise and a technical college // Pedagogical Review. 2025. Issue 2 (60). P. 41-50

The article is presents the possibilities of improving the quality of training of students of secondary vocational education in the conditions of modern socio-economic development of Russia, which is achieved by introducing mentoring into the system of practical training (industrial practice) as a factor ensuring the creation of a comfortable environment for the development of professional competencies of a technical college graduate and adaptation of the personality of a future worker in production. Based on a study of modern experience in organizing and implementing mentoring, a set of criteria has been defined for selecting enterprise employees for the mentor database. Taking into account the requirements for a mentor formulated by the heads of services of industrial enterprises, the results of studying the draft Professional Standard “Mentor” and scientific literature on mentoring, a competency model of a modern mentor in production in the field of technical specialties and professions has been developed. An additional advanced training program “Mentoring at the enterprise” was designed and implemented at the LLC “Uralstroytekhmash” enterprise in Sukhoi Log. The basic requirements for training a mentor at an enterprise have been identified, including general cultural, special and professional competencies, the development and implementation of which will allow the successful implementation of mentoring activities. The criteria for selecting employees to implement mentoring activities have been identified. The content of the additional advanced training program “Mentoring at the enterprise” has been developed, taking into account the principles of developing programs in this area, which will make it possible to prepare mentors with practical experience and high skill to work with technical college students in real conditions of industrial production during their industrial practice. In the article, in the “enterprise-technical college” interaction system, the design of additional advanced training “Mentoring at the enterprise” is presented, which can be used in the system of additional professional education at industrial enterprises in the framework of training highly qualified personnel for effective mentoring professional and pedagogical activities.
