1 | The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of the implementation of the pilot project of the diagnostic complex “Helping school”, aimed at identifying students who have difficulties at school. The causes of difficulties in school are determined in accordance with the 4 directions of schoolchilds’ self-determination – personal, social, school subject and professional. The possibilities of pedagogical diagnostics as a tool for studying the problems of self-determination of schoolchildren and individualization of the class teacher’s work with students, taking into account the identified difficulties, are shown. The structure of the primary and final diagnostic complexes allowing to carry out school-wide monitoring studies is presented. Separate complex techniques are described, for example, the mirror technique “The child who...”, which allows diagnosing difficulties in all areas of self-determination in the assessments of teachers and schoolchildren themselves. The results of data interpretation and the problems identified as a result of the study of both individual students and trends in different study groups are presented. The results of the discussion of the diagnostic complex in the format of focus groups with school teachers are described. The prospects of research in the format of developing an electronic educational resource “Helping school” are presented.
