| 1 | The peculiarities of the socio-political views of K. P. Pobedonostsev, have had a significant impact on his teaching career. In the spotlight – Pobedonostsev representation of what should be the primary public school in Russia. The article shows his contribution to the establishment of parochial schools, which for a quarter of a century taught literacy several million peasant children.
