1 | Within the framework of the regular “Winter School of Teachers”, organized by Yurait Publishing House in late January 2020 and held in the webinar mode, the main trends in higher education were discussed, more than thirty reports were presented on the most relevant topics: continuous learning, SoftSkills, creative thinking in solving tasks (trend – universal skills and competences in the fourth industrial revolution); elimination of digital inequality, total digital literacy, digital transformation of the consciousness of educators (the trend is the digital educational environment); new pedagogical roles (tutoring, pedagogical design, etc.), the transition to project-based education with a focus on interdisciplinarity, the transformation of the academic space, the changing role of libraries (the trend is mass personalized learning (student-centered); qualitatively new digital educational and methodological complexes, content sources: open resources, EBS, MOOC, educational platforms, digitalization of educational heritage (the trend is digital educational and methodological complexes); adaptive training and assessment, portfolio of achievements, transformation of goals and testing methods (trend – evaluation of educational achievements); voice assistants and chat bots, adaptive selection of training materials, AR, MR, VR and panoramic video, gaming computer practices (trend – artificial intelligence and VR technologies in education); projecting, data protection (trend – information security); pedagogical research using Big Date, psychometrics and digital footprints, ratings of digital information as a new reality (trend – research and data analytics). 2 | At the end of June 2020, the next Summer School of Teachers – 2020, organized by the Urayt Publishing House in the format of webinars.The participants of the School focused on five relevant digital education skills necessary for distance learning: online assessment, data analysis, psychology and motivation of online learning. planning of practices and internships, organization of processes and paperwork. The transformation of higher education in the context of a pandemic – from shock to digital pedagogy – became the main topic of all speeches and discussions of the School (more than forty reports, two panel discussions). The pandemic has accelerated and exposed the trends already established, modern conditions have accelerated the introduction of online technologies for remote teaching. 2020 has become a year of challenge to Russian education, a year of extreme changes. The emergency transition to online forced universities to work in the most extreme conditions: the authors created and updated teaching materials and tests for the needs of the new teaching format.The Summer School of Teachers was devoted to understanding what had emerged in higher education (e.g. redesigning the local regulatory framework, using digital traces of student and teacher activities to make managerial decisions, retaining students, transforming traditional learning, transforming universities, AR and VR technologies), forecasts for the future (e.g.virtual reality as a tool for practical learning). In connection with the new reality, the role of the education system, the attitude of society to education, the place of teachers and their role in creating added value for the student are changing, teaching methods and skills are changing too. In this review, we will focus on individual topics and reports. 3 | More than 3,000 people took part in the regular Winter School of Teachers – 2024, organized by the educational platform of the Urayt publishing house and held as webinars from January 22 to 26, 2024. Reports and panel discussions were devoted to the following topics: individualization in the digital environment;individualization of learning in online communication; the relationship between student-centered learning models and psychological theories; individual educational trajectories: from theory to implementation; training in digital technologies for future life; personalization of the electronic information educational environment (EIEE): from functionality to convenience and comfort; digital footprint (analytics of student behavior in the EIEE); the digital activity of students; support for independence and responsibility of students; the independent work of students in the digital environment of the university; the development of social skills; support for independence and responsibility of students; independent work of students in the digital environment of the university; development of social skills of students; own business and entrepreneurship as a trajectory of self-realization of students; student science: the formation of young scientists; service to society: the third mission of the university and student volunteering;pedagogy of cooperation: support, mutual assessment and collective projects; personality types and self-esteem of students: building an individual approach; presenting thesis as a step towards graduate independence. In this review, we will focus on individual topics and presentations.
