ABOUT PROBLEMS OF TEACHING AND STUDYING OF STOCHASTIC LINE IN SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES
The authors’ long-term work with schoolchildren and students of the departments of Physics and Mathematics has shown that there are serious problems in studying probability and statistical concepts and methods at schools as well as in universities and as a result - the problems in the teaching and learning by students mathematical disciplines [1]. The paper considers the causes of these problems, an analysis of the existing textbooks of mathematics grades 5–11, in which is included stochastic material.
Keywords: combinatorics, probability, statistics, continuity
