Online image of a teacher: psychological competencies

The study is devoted to the problem of forming a network image of a teacher in a modern digital educational environment. The focus is on exploring the psychological competencies required for successful self-presentation and maintaining a sustainable professional image in the online space. The purpose of the study is to assess the possibilities of developing psychological competencies important for the formation and promotion of a personal brand of a teacher in a digital environment; assessment of opportunities and risks arising in the formation of a digital image. The study involved 47 teachers: the sex and age composition of the sample – 39 women, 8 men, the age range is 27-54 years. Diagnostic tools: the method "Self-monitoring scale" Snyder M., digital competence questionnaire of teachers Redeker K., index of interpersonal reactivity Davis M.H., the method "Level of reflection" (Karpov A.V., Ponamoreva V.V.). Student's t-test was used to assess the significance of the differences. The study showed the implementation of work aimed at developing psychological competencies using CBT techniques, coaching, projective methods, contributes to solving the problem of creating a personal brand of a teacher. An approved formative program for teachers on creating and promoting a personal brand in the digital space contribute to the development of key psychological competencies, which manifested itself in a change in the professional behavior of teachers on the network: increasing awareness of self-presentation, content consistency, resistance to feedback and focus on long-term interaction with the audience. The results of the study will be useful to education specialists interested in improving the qualifications and improving the quality of the educational process in the context of digitalization.
