2 | The article gives proof of the actual approaches to the physical development and education of children connected with the changes taking place in the preschool education. These changes are caused by the introduction of the federal state educational standard. Presents the brief characteristic of the selected approaches, reveals their importance in regard to the physical development of preschoolers. Properly organized physical education is extremely important for the full development of a growing child's body; therefore, specific approaches to the implementation of the process are required. These approaches, according to the author, are the activity, integrative, individual, personal, competence-based, axiological and optimization approaches. Integrated application of these approaches will effectively solve the problems of the physical development of preschool children determined by the federal state educational standard of preschool education, for example, health protection and promotion, formation of the bases of a healthy lifestyle, development of physical qualities and main types of movements of children. 3 | The paper considers the problem of defining professionally significant qualities of a preschool teacher in conditions of professional – pedagogical activity and pre-school education standardization. Professional activity of preschool teachers is specific, that is caused by age features of preschool children and high responsibility for their life and health. The current situation in education specifies requirements to a preschool teacher. In order to comply with these requirements, a preschool teacher should have certain professional qualities and competencies. The authors justify professional competences and professionally important qualities of a teacher in terms of standardization of professional activity. These competences and qualities contribute much to the success and effective pedagogical work. 4 | The production practice is an important component of the vocational training for students of master’s degree program. It contributes to the formation of key competences of masters and the development of their professional experience, allows to assess the effectiveness of the development of the educational program. Evaluation of the students’ activities based on the results of the practice has its own characteristics and differs from the assessment of their knowledge and skills in academic disciplines. This requires defining the criteria and levels of their evaluation in practice. There are three types of practice during the Master’s studies for teachers. The result of all research and teaching activities of students is pre-graduation practice. Based on its results, the issue of admission to the defence of the final qualifying work is considered. In the article, the author raises the problem of assessing the professional competencies of the graduate students of psychological and pedagogical education following the results of industrial practice. The author considers the options offered in the literature for revealing the level of their formation, reveals the tasks, content, peculiarities of the organization of research activity, types of assignments for pre-graduation practice of students studying in the direction “Psychological and pedagogical education (Psychology and pedagogy of preschooler development)”. The experience of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University in determining the level of development of general professional and professional competencies is used: first (low), second (middle), third (high). The indicators and criteria for the manifestation of the competences of masters teachers based on the results of industrial (pre-graduation) practice are singled out and described. The article proposes a criterial-level approach to the organization of the pre-graduation practice of students of a master’s degree in the educational environment of a pedagogical university. The levels of manifestation of general professional and professional competencies are defined and characterized: critical, sufficient, advanced. 5 | The article analyzes the experience of the organization of research work at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of Tomsk State Pedagogical University in the direction of training masters of 44.01.03 Pedagogical education, orientation (profile) Music. The role and place of the research work of students in the formation of professional competencies, in increasing the motivation to learn, expanding the research qualities of the future teacher is substantiated. The main directions and tasks of research work in the system of pedagogical training of students-musicians are indicated. The essence, content and forms of organization of research work of students in higher education institutions are considered, aimed at creating a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that allow to form attitudes towards science as a priority tool for diagnosis, design, forecasting and improvement of pedagogical practice in music education. Despite the presence of significant scientific developments, methodological recommendations, the effectiveness and efficiency of students’ research work still leaves much to be desired: the majority of future teachers have an incomplete or distorted understanding of this aspect of vocational training, in addition, they have no practically or present fragmentary relevant methodological knowledge and skills. The overwhelming number of students and a significant part of teachers are not aware of the social and personal significance of research activities, their place in vocational training, the general cultural development of a personality, its self-realization and effectiveness. There is still a certain inconsistency in the methods of managing the research work of students. Practice shows that the organization of research work of students contributes to improving the quality of training, the growth of scientific and pedagogical qualifications of teachers and scientific and pedagogical workers, the direct use of significant scientific potential to accelerate scientific and social development and achieve relevant results.
