1 | The article emphasizes the actuality of the process of development of information competence of the personality from the positions of subject-activity approach. As a subject of activities the personality in modern society is becoming an important competence: the willingness of the individual to the network interaction based on digital trends with the designation in it of the subjective experience, the ability to generate and maintain online content as an independent and active subject, the ability to provide quality navigation in information and communication technologies based on the experience of their use. These abilities characterize the components of information competence of the personality. The process of development of this competence from the positions of subject-activity approach lies in the continuous support of the subject activities on smart technologies in the smart society through “understanding”, the birth of their meanings, enriching the subjective experience of development of information competence of a person. In the context of Smart society the subject of activities has a willingness to actualize personal potential, subject experience, information competence, information culture. Under the information competence of the personality as a subject of activity can be understood the ability to “multiplication” of the natural, spiritual, professional, cultural and individual-personal features in Smart society. 2 | The article emphasizes the relevance of the processes of transformation of views on the development of professional competencies of the individual, associated with the existence of information, digital and SMART-society. As a representative of modern society, a person acquires important competences: an integral characteristic related to experience in the information reality, ways of interacting with technology and technology in order to fulfill the general and professional information needs of a person; high-level meta-abilities for the existence in the digital space of highly mobile intelligent devices; the formation of the personality of a SMART-person who is fluent in SMART-technologies for searching, analyzing information and creating innovations that interact in professional network communities. These abilities characterize the components of the information, digital and smart competencies of the individual. These competencies coexist and come to the fore depending on the evolution of society as a dynamic system, the improvement of information, digital and smart technologies. The transformation of views on information, digital and SMART-competence of the individual in modern society is associated with its synchronous development, modernization, social hybridization and convergence, modernity, progressiveness, civilization, integrativity, cultural and historical potential, with the transition from the «closed» technology to «seamlessness». 3 | The article emphasizes the impact of digital transformation on the “park of professions” and the training of university students as transprofessionals with a high level of development of information competence. The increased interest in career guidance projects allows us to determine the potential of the “park of professions” for the development of transprofessional information competence of university students. Transprofessional competencies, one of which is information competence, are the skills of the future (future skills). Hard skills – (English “hard” skills) competencies manifested in the narrow professional sphere, and soft skills – (English “soft” skills) as transprofessional competencies acquired and developed throughout life, characterized by moving beyond one profession. The information competence of university students should be considered as a transprofessional competence and as a sociocultural phenomenon at the same time. Information competence as a socio-cultural phenomenon includes a culture of working with a professional context as a transformation of information into texts of one’s own consciousness; culture of presentation of educational results in the form of a digital product; a culture of information security management; a culture of working with information in relation to relevance; culture of mobile solution of professional tasks with the help of digital technologies; a culture of working with digital content presented in a digital educational environment, which characterizes information competence as well as transprofessional. The potential of the “park of professions” expands the boundaries of understanding the information competence of university students as transprofessional.
