Afanasyev Vladimir Vasilyevich, Afanasyeva Irina Vasilyevna, Afanasyev Ilya Vladimirovich STUDY OF THE READINESS OF GRADUATE STUDENTS FOR RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SCENARIO-EVENT ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 4 (32). P. 113-123

The relevance and heuristic value of the article lies in the fact that the materials presented in it will give reason to researchers, scientific supervisors of graduate students, organizers of science and the graduate students themselves to understand how to ensure the highest productivity of training highly qualified personnel, to increase the prestige of research activities. The problem of a modern graduate student is not that he is not able to generalize well-known materials and that he cannot offer something new in his field of knowledge, but how to check the effectiveness of what is offered as organically «fit» theory into experimental designs. Simply put, how to build a relevant experiment. It is in this that the main value of the materials presented in the article is seen, which will help the subjects of this process most reasonably approach the choice of approaches to the organization of postgraduate training, methods and techniques of experimental research, building its content and presenting the results. The subject of the work is the mechanisms (approaches, methods, means) of studying the readiness of graduate students for research activities in the context of scenario-event organization of the educational process. The novelty of the work is that it shows how one of the main components of the productivity of postgraduate training – readiness for research activities can be qualimetrically evaluated by measuring three components: the level of selfrealization; motivation and formation of relevant competencies. The practical significance of the work is seen in the application of scenario approach models to the preparation of graduate students and the incorporation of various «events» into these models, in the systematic construction of the main stages of the experimental work and the interpretation of its results for each of the measured parameters.

Keywords: research activity, readiness for self-realization, motivation, the formation of research competencies, scenario-event organization of the educational process in graduate school

Esipenko Elena Aleksandrovna, Beloplotova Kristina Evgenyevna, Polyakova Olga Romanovna EMOTIONAL, COGNITIVE AND SOCIAL FACTORS RELATING TO THE EFFICIENCY OF SOLVING SPATIAL TASKS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 3 (31). P. 201-207

Psychologists are interested in the study of spatial and general cognitive abilities. Known that they can predict success in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) areas. Nevertheless, a comprehensive study of the influence of various factors on spatial abilities was not held. To examine the factors that can be associated with solving spatial problems, the study was conducted on a Russian-language sample, which included 161 young men and women from different study majors (STEM and non-STEM). Studied factors were emotional, cognitive and social. A feature of the study is that a comprehensive examination of factors was carried out in the study of spatial tasks such as “Mechanical reasoning and spatial relations”, “Paper folding”, “Pattern assembly”, “Shape rotation”. As a result of the regression analysis (with the inclusion of all the studied factors), it turned out that for each spatial problem the presented models were significant. All models have the same percentage of explained variance are approximately 20%. Non-verbal intelligence makes a great contribution to “Mechanical reasoning and spatial relations” and “Shape rotation”, and also for non-verbal intelligence, working memory, and the direction of learning make a great contribution to “Pattern assembly” and “Paper folding”. Emotional and social factors were not significant. Findings will enable a better understanding of what contributes to spatial abilities.

Petrova Tatyana Adolfovna PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL PROJECT “EDUCATION” // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 2 (42). P. 16-23

The article considers the issue of implementing a national project that is of enormous importance for the state and for every person, as it is associated with the formation of human capital in the new reality of modern development of society, where the most important competencies are the ability to think unconventionally and creatively, the ability to logically build a chain of reasoned evidence, the ability to work in a team and hear the opinions of others and analyze them. The project covers almost all aspects of the educational process, but has undergone changes that, from our point of view, are not optimal, since one of the projects within the overall project is the most important, since it directly concerns the closest environment of the student-this is a teacher who, from our point of view, is the basis of the educational process and should have a separate project with clear and adequate goals, tasks and financial assessment of the teacher’s work The most important unsolved problem remains the problem of further maintenance, repair, and updating of equipment, which should now fit into the framework of the municipal task, which is quite difficult to do with the current algorithm for generating tasks. We consider it necessary to ensure the paradigm of the teacher’s place and role in the educational process as a basic element of the education system, an indispensable factor in the formation of human capital for the development of the economy as a whole.

Keywords: national project, human capital, teacher as the most important basis of educational process, budget, problems of maintenance, repair of equipment obtained under the national project

Shabanova Irina Anatolyevna, Kovaleva Svetlana Vladimirovna, Chirkova Svetlana Evgenyevna STRUCTURING OF EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION IN THE PRACTICUM ON INORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR UNIVERSITIES // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 5 (27). P. 19-29

Introduction. In the context of a continuously increasing flow of educational information, there is a contradiction between its large volume and limited time to study. Accordingly, the question arises about the structuring of educational information for laboratory work on inorganic chemistry based on the characteristics of its perception by students. Material and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of determining the effectiveness of the developed instructions for laboratory work in chemistry. It included the results of students’ questioning, determining the difficulty of their perception of instructions in textual and structured forms, estimating the time spent on preparation, execution of work and drawing up a report for them in the experimental and control groups. The groups had the same working conditions and level of training, but their difference was the use of different teaching materials. The results of the input and output control of students’ knowledge in order to identify the quality of the assimilation of chemical information in laboratory classes are given. Results and discussion. The features of the developed instructions for laboratory studies at the university are described, including: presenting them in a table containing individual blocks, algorithmizing the description of actions performed during the experiment, highlighting questions and tasks for experiments. The construction of proposals in the algorithm of the course of the chemical experiment is proposed. An example of the description of the content of experience to the laboratory work is given. The results of the pedagogical experiment are presented, which includes an analysis of the assessment of the difficulty of perceiving instructions of various forms, the cost of study time for preparing and conducting chemical ex periments at work, and testing students in the control and experimental groups. A survey of teachers of chemistry and biology was conducted, the results of which testify to the universality of the presented materials and the possibility of their use in school practice of teaching natural science subjects. Conclusion. The use of structured instructive and methodological materials in conducting laboratory studies in inorganic chemistry helps save study time for preparing and carrying out experiments, on the basis of which the methods of carrying out laboratory work are improved, which allows learners to assimilate chemical information more consciously and qualitatively.

The authors present a review of the main studies devoted to the study of urban and rural foster families. Also they provide statistics on the placement of children in foster families in large cities and rural areas. The aim of the study was to identify the types and relationship of life values of parents and teenagers in foster families of metropolis and the countryside. The aim of experimental study is to identify the specifics of life values, the personality orientation of the adoptive parents of the metropolis and the countryside. The study covered 156 foster parents of the metropolis and 148 foster parents of the countryside, 112 teenagers living with foster parents of the metropolis, and 98 adolescents living with foster parents in the countryside, aged 14–15 years. The study of life values, resilience of foster parents and teenagers was carried out through the methodology of M. Rokich. To study the relationship between the life values of foster parents and adolescents, the Spearman criterion (p) was used. The authors of the real study have revealed the preferred terminal values and instrumental values of adoptive parents and teenagers of the metropolis and the countryside. They have also identified the equivalent ranks which are important for adoptive parents and teenagers of a metropolis according to terminal values: health, material well-being. The ones have found the discrepancies in such values as life wisdom, freedom, the presence of good and faithful friends, knowledge. The coincidence of instrumental values is honesty, education. The authors noted that there were coincidences between adoptive parents and teenagers of the countryside on the scales of terminal values – health, interesting work, the beauty of nature, a happy family life, the happiness of others, creativity, confidence. There was a coincidence in instrumental values – tolerance, courage, efficiency, firm will, education, breadth of views. The researches have established the interconnections between instrumental values of foster parents and teenagers in foster families of the metropolis and the countryside, the terminal values of parents and teenagers in foster families of the countryside and the absence of such connections in foster families of the metropolis. The researches have concluded the most significant factors affecting the presence and absence of relationships between parents and teenagers from foster families of the metropolis and the countryside are lifestyle, family traditions. The results can be applied in the selection, training and support of foster parents in the centers of comprehensive support of foster families.

Ozhiganova Galina Valentinovna SELF-DEVELOPMENT, ABILITY FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT AND HIGHER ABILITY FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 6 (40). P. 190-198

The article analyzes the concept of “self-development” and the personality abilities associated with it from a psychological point of view. The purpose of the research is to consider the concept of “self-development”, as well as “the ability for self-development”, “the highest ability for self-development” and identify the difference between these abilities. In the course of the analysis the concept of self-development is described, its various characteristics and parameters are revealed. The article presents definitions of the ability for self-development, covering its different aspects, such as systemic, integrative, subjective, activity-oriented, life-oriented, transformative, motivational-value, evaluative-orientational, self-regulatory, reflexive-regulatory, cognitive. It is shown that there is no single concept of self-development. Some concepts emphasize the role of cognitive factors, while others give priority to self-regulatory skills; subject position; transformation of the inner world; specific activity for self-change, aimed at solving life problems. It is concluded that the variety of factors contributing to self-development, the identification of many its aspects and components, various forms of manifestation seems to be logical, since it reflects the complexity and multidimensionality of this psychological phenomenon. A special place in the article is occupied by the description of subjectiveness, which is interpreted by the author as one of the key factors determining self-development. The important role of the position of the subject and subjectiveness in self-development and its importance for the manifestation of the highest ability for self-development, when a person acts as a subject of activity, as a subject of development, and as a subject of life, is emphasized. The specificity of the highest ability for self-development is noted, associated with its belonging to the mental component of spiritual abilities. The difference between the ordinary ability for self-development and the higher ability for self-development is shown, which is due to the fact that the highest ability for self-development is focused on absolute values and high spiritual and moral ideals.

Zhiginas Natalya Vladimirovna, Sukhacheva Nataliya Igorevna AGGRESSION AS AN OBJECTIVE FACTOR IN MODERN SOCIETY // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 3 (31). P. 208-214

The article analyzes the problem of aggression of modern society on the basis of data from our own research conducted in 2014–19 on the basis of surveys of men and women of various social and educational levels aged 15 to 70 years, mass media and research data. The phenomenon of aggression for many years continues to be an urgent topic of sociological, psychological and pedagogical research, despite a large number of various humanitarian research and ongoing controversy in the media and on the Internet. Nevertheless, the problem of aggression and its consequences for society as a whole and each individual in particular is not only relevant, but also a direct determinant of development, social integration and personal position in relation to society as a whole and to an individual person in particular. The results of the study indicate not only the multiplicity and multi-level aggressive behavior and perception of society as aggressive, but also make a certain contribution to understanding the nature of such a complex phenomenon as aggressiveness. However, based on the data of psychocorrection of our early works, we can talk about the limitations of the fatal perception of the phenomenon of aggressiveness and understanding of the ways to reduce it. The essence of aggression at the gender level is considered as a serious intrapersonal conflict, which is an obstacle to the organization of the spiritual space of the individual.

Lyalyuk Aleksandr Viktorovich SOCIOMETRY-BASED METHOD FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SECURITY WITHIN A STUDENT GROUP // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 2 (24). P. 90-97

Psychological and pedagogical security is an essential criterion as applied to the educational environment. With regard to a higher education institution, such security includes many aspects and is largely determined by social and psychological environment within an academic group. The use of sociometry-based methods is necessitated by the difficulty of carrying out the adequate assessment of social and psychological environment within academic groups and the availability of negative factors, such as chronic conflicts, mobbing, bulling and dignitary harm. Original method for processing the primary data received at the result of sociometric approach is provided, which is realized as process tool (computer program) enabling the variation of surveying regimes and generate (after the survey results have been processed) any kinds of data, i.e. quantitative characteristics representing the social and psychological situation, as well as interactive group chart. The examples are given, how to apply the following methods of interpretation (processing) of primary data: scree test, mathematical theory of limits and graph theory. The method may be applied for social and pedagogical monitoring, development of psychological assessment tools for studying interpersonal and intergroup interaction of the members of educational environment, as well as for the development of information-and-probability models of behavioral pattern of a student group provided any changes of conditions.

Pigarev Aleksandr Yuryevich METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO INCAPABLE STUDENTS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 37-45

Differences in the mathematical abilities of different students are manifested in the fact that the same practice and exercises for students with different abilities give different results. For a capable student, these exercises lead to the mastery of mathematical knowledge and skills, for an incapable student do not. The reason for the inability to mathematics is the lack of working memory. There are two main approaches to solve the problem of teaching mathematics to incapable students: (1) training working memory and (2) reducing the load on working memory in the educational process. The results of the first approach are ambiguous: training working memory leads to an improvement in the performance of untrained tests for working memory, but it may not lead to noticeable changes in learning indicators associated with the working memory of the student. Accordingly, it remains to reduce the load on working memory in the educational process. Well known methods that reduce the load on working memory when studying mathematics are described. Automation of basic computing skills (arithmetic, trigonometric, geometric) is achieved with the help of computer trainers developed by the author: the mental calculations trainer, the trainer for developing skills in working with a trigonometric circle, the trainer for developing skills of using reduction formulas and the rectangular triangle solving trainer. The technique of working with trainers is based on the interval repetition method. Empirical data on the results of their implementation are presented.

Polyanina Ol'ga Ivanovna SUPERVISION IN TUTORING PRACTICE: ORGANIZATION ISSUES // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 213-220

The problem of conceptual underdevelopment of the supervisory practice of tutor support is discussed. The reason for the absence of theoretical models of supervision is seen in the empirical outstripping of this practice in relation to the conceptual reflection of tutoring as a type of professional activity. As a possible theoretical model for the supervision of a tutor, a “tutor system” is proposed, similar to the psychotherapeutic supervision system, which includes 3 types of focus of attention: on a tutorant, a tutor, and the process of tutor support. The content of supervision is indicated, which is determined by each of these angles of attention. Behavioral patterns characterizing tutors and tutorants are described, the corresponding deficits of subjectivity and identity are identified. Deficiencies in educational and professional subjectivity, as well as diffuse educational and professional identity, are defined as criteria for identifying a “complex” supervisor and tutorant. The most important conditions for effective supervision of tutoring practice are called accurate recognition in the process of supervision of the limitations and shortcomings of the personal, activity and communicative plan, which are characteristic of a tutor and a tutorant, as well as the implementation of the fundamental idea of the activity approach about turning the concept of action into activity.

Luo Xiaoxia A NEW MODEL FOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN TEACHING RUSSIAN IN CHINA OF THE NEW ERA // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 87-92

The world we live is currently in the development mode of political, economic and cultural globalization, so foreign language education is receiving more and more attention all over the world. Thus, it is also imperative to establish a new model of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China. Meanwhile, both the changes that China has made under the “One Belt and Road Initiative” and the impact of Chinese culture’s “going out” strategy have brought new opportunities and challenges to Russian language teaching. Many Chinese experts and scholars have written several relevant articles to discuss the mode of teaching Russian talents under such new situation. In 2018, the Ministry of Education of China published the “National Standards for Undergraduate Professional Teaching Quality in Ordinary Colleges and Universities” (referred to as “National Standard”) providing a basis for the establishment of Russian professional quality standards and improving the quality of teaching Russian talents in the new era. The positioning of the “national standard” is reflected in the following three rules: 1) Professional orientation: combination of tradition and innovation. 2) Talent training: combination of comprehensive quality and practical ability. 3) Teaching staff: combination of teaching and scientific research. Meanwhile, the existing problems of Russian teaching in China are expounded.

Burilkina Svetlana Anatolyevna, Suprun Nelli Gennadyevna PREVENTION OF ASOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENTS: THE POTENTIAL OF SUBJECT-SUBJECT INTERACTION BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 190-196

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that early identification of the child’s psychological characteristics and unfavorable situations of upbringing in the family could contribute to the correction of his asocial behavior, primarily by creating conditions for subject-subject interaction between parents and children, necessary for the formation of a full-fledged personality. The purpose of our study is to study the attitude of parents to psychological training as a condition of subjectsubject interaction, and a way to prevent asocial behavior of adolescents. In the study, first of all, the conditions of subject-subject interaction, such as a set of cognitive, active and experimental role-playing games, were determined and practically confirmed. The conditions should be based on humanistic ideas and aimed at developing the child’s own activity with the help of parents, in the mode of subject interaction. Also, in the system of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents, the leading role of parents through subject-subject interaction is determined. The article analyzes the essence and content of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents from the position of subject-subject interaction with parents. The concept of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents by subject-subject interaction of parents and children was proposed. The analysis of the results of the empirical work allowed us to state the dynamics of value-trust interaction in the family, and the implementation of a set of training exercises, through subjectsubject interaction, ensured the effectiveness of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents. The results of the study can be used by social educators, psychologists, and subject teachers, teachers of pedagogical universities in order to improve the process of subject-subject interaction between parents and children in the prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents.

An important condition in preparing students for innovation is psychological and pedagogical support. Support should be aimed at the formation of innovative competencies of students, personal development, expansion of self-education, assistance in the development and implementation of innovations. It is important that psychological and pedagogical support is focused on the design of the author’s system of student activity when mastering the basics of the profession. Psychological and pedagogical support in the educational process takes into account the logic of the natural development of the student at this age and socio-cultural stage. The model of psychological and pedagogical support for the development of innovative potential of students includes several components: motivational, informative, practical, evaluative, and diagnostic. The model combines the goals, objectives, and features of innovation in the educational environment. It should be focused on the development of innovative thinking, improving motivation, improving the quality of independent and team work, and selfdevelopment of students. When developing the innovative potential of students, it is necessary to use active forms of education: training, project activities, discussions, modeling, roleplaying and simulation games. Active forms of education help to develop students communicative competence, creative and organizational abilities, personal and professional identity. Psychological and pedagogical support for the development of innovative potential of students should be based on the principle of transition of opportunity to relevance. With the development of innovative potential, students move to a qualitatively new level through self-development and professional improvement. Scientific and research work, which is focused on the practical implementation of the results of intellectual activity, is of great importance in the preparation of students.

The article considers the process of students’ critical thinking development through the English language resources. The authors highlight the importance of English in the developing of students’ universal competencies and their adaption to the current professional requirements. The article outlines the essential critical thinking skills that allow students to comprehend the received material, break down the material into its constituent parts, to distinguish relevant information from extraneous material, to synthesize, to infer and evaluate it. The educational foreign-language text is used as a means of students’ critical thinking development. The authors emphasize the text’s multifunction nature and its contribution into enhancement of students’ thinking activity. Despite the teachers’ keen interest in the process of critical thinking developing some authors prove the lack of methods and techniques promoting its growth. The article gives an overview of Bloom’s taxonomy and outlines its application in the educational process. The taxonomy is widely used to set educational objectives, to formulate motivating exercises and monitor headway in knowledge and skills developing. The study shows that not all textbooks and tasks are intended to enhance critical thinking skills. So, the authors analyzed their English textbook and changed their approach to work with the texts. The article describes the experience proving that new challenging tasks help students comprehend the received information, distinguish relevant facts, summarize and learn to evaluate.

Vakhitova Galiya Khamitovna, Leontyev Eduard Petrovich, Batsuuri Ajrakhgui THE CURRENT STATE OF PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION IN RUSSIA AND MONGOLIA // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 162-171

The article considers the state of modern pre-school education in Russia and Mongolia. It is indicated that in both countries, preschool education of children is a rightful and integral part of the state system of general education, which assumes the continuity of the educational process with ensuring a harmonious transition of children from preschool to primary school education. The article focuses on the goals and objectives of the education of children of senior preschool age, formed in the normative documents of Russia and Mongolia, based on personality-oriented pedagogy. The importance of understanding the current tasks of preschool childhood in both state educational systems is noted not from the point of view of preparing five- and six-year-olds for systematic education in school, but from the point of view of forming a viable personality and intrinsic value of preschool age. A comparative analysis of the current state of pre-school education in Russia and Mongolia has shown that both systems focus on the needs and age opportunities of the child, with the right to choose institutions, programs, forms of activity, methods of education and upbringing. It is concluded that the system of pre-school education in preschool institutions in Mongolia is at the stage of development, while in Russia there is sufficient experience to spread and enrich the educational system as a whole.

Kostyukova Tatyana Anatolyevna, Hegumen Christopher (Kazantsev) Dmitriy PEDAGOGICAL REFLECTION OF THEOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE SYSTEM OF POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 4 (22). P. 143-150

In the conditions of today’s spiritual crisis and the search for “tools” for overcoming it, the qualitative updating of the system of postgraduate education is actualized by giving more attention to the cultural and humanitarian plan for teaching subjects. With this in mind, it is suggested not to ignore the cultural significance of religious knowledge, which is organically woven into Russian literature, history, into Russian pedagogy. The article is an experience of studying theological knowledge of teachers in the system of postgraduate education. An analysis of the literature in the field of the problem under study has been carried out, which has shown the researchers’ attempts to understand the role of cultural values that religion carries in pedagogical education and to offer technologies for their development. The ontogeny of the cultural experience of reading and understanding religious texts as an important component of the development of the axiological foundations of the worldview of the teacher is considered. The reasons for the teacher’s appeal to theological knowledge as a cultural component of Russian culture are substantiated. The conducted research meets the general tendency to use the interdisciplinary theoretical positions of a wide range of sciences: pedagogy, cultural studies, philosophy and religious studies. In this connection, at the present stage of Russia’s development, the actualization of anthropocentric pedagogy is increasing, whereas socialization is understood not as adaptation and conformation, but as cultivation of one’s own position in the world, including with the support of traditional Russian spiritual values. The conducted research meets the general tendency to use the interdisciplinary theoretical positions of a wide range of sciences: pedagogy, cultural studies, philosophy and religious studies.

Vilkova Lyudmila Vladimirovna IMPLEMENTATION OF FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTION // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 4 (26). P. 7-13

The article deals with the problems of implementation of formative assessment in secondary educational institutions and proposes their solution. Formative assessment is able to solve the problems facing the assessment system focusing on the quality of process of students learning outcomes and acquiring skills for “lifelong learning”. Formative assessment has been implemented slowly and inefficiently for more than a decade. Identifying and analyzing the reasons for the difficulties of implementation and finding the ways to overcome them is the aim of this research and determines the relevance of the theme. Theoretical and practical methods of research were used to achieve this aim. A large number of difficulties have been revealed. Some of which have been indicated by teachers participating in the program. The obtained data allow us to divide all mentioned problems into 3 levels depending on the possibilities of their solutions. It is noted that teachers solve them at the first level “classroom” but without the support at the “school” and “out-of-school” levels the process of formative assessment is discrete, fragmented or even impossible. Introductory training workshops at the “workplace” have been developed and proposed to conduct as the first step in the program of implementation of formative assessment in the educational process. The seminars (workshops) are divided into theoretical and practical parts; questions for discussion and duration of conducting vary depending on the preparedness of the audience. At the end of the workshops, teachers have initial necessary knowledge to start practical activities of formative assessment. The author emphasizes the necessity to introduce sections (or to expand them) about this type of assessment at teacher training courses and in programs of discipline about teaching methods to build a system of training teachers who own a new philosophy of assessment.

Ganina Svetlana Aleksandrovna ADAPTATION OF STUDENTS AS AN INSTRUMENT OF STRATEGIC QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATION // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 4 (26). P. 100-105

The article deals with the problems of strategic education quality management through the processes of adaptation of students to the higher education system. Various problems affecting the poor quality of adaptation are analyzed. In particular, as the first problem, a significant gap between the school and university educational space is highlighted and analyzed, which is that the university and the school have practically no points of contact: the students have no idea about the structure of the educational space of the university, the temporary rhythms of its work organization (semesters, modules, sessions), stream methods of organization of the educational process, the flow of students, uniting large masses of students of one course or related areas of training. Lecture-seminar and test and examination systems are also very different from the usual for 11 years of schooling methods of organizing the educational process and knowledge control. A big problem is created by the lack of necessary information (which can only be gathered on the days of open doors, and then not in full), the low autonomy of schoolchildren, the passivity of the school teaching system, etc. As a result of the analysis, a number of trips to solving the problem are proposed: firstly, university teachers should “go to school”. It is necessary to think over and organize the interaction of the school and the university, both to improve the quality of school education and to adapt schoolchildren to other, university teaching methods. The second solution would be the earlier vocational orientation of schoolchildren. This work must begin no later than grade 8 school. The third area of activity for the adaptation of students in the system of higher education, from our point of view, can be the introduction of elements of project management in the implementation of the educational process in higher school.

Pozdeeva Svetlana Ivanovna HOW TO TEACH A MODERN SCHOOL STUDENT // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 4 (32). P. 55-61

The professional difficulties of teachers and the educational difficulties of primary schoolchildren, updated by the regime of total distance learning caused by the spread of COVID-19, are highlighted. The author concludes that regulatory and cognitive UUD are insufficiently formed in children, which entailed the educational helplessness of the child. The reason for this is the lack of focus on educators on the formation of the ability to learn and the relationship between subject and universal educational activities. The author discusses why distance learning cannot be the basic form in elementary school: the harmful effects on children’s health, the destruction of general cultural skills, technological risks, the destruction of living contacts with adults and other children. The author shows how the didactic scheme of the lesson and the professional functions of the teacher have changed: from intermediary to organizational and methodological. The main features of the online lesson and the typical mistakes of teachers during its conduct are highlighted. It is shown how it is possible to attract parents to the implementation of different models of interaction with the child in home schooling. The author predicts how the traditional lesson will change due to the teachers getting the experience of intensive distance learning in elementary school, which didactic and methodological aspects will become relevant.

Fominykh Ekaterina Sergeyevna TOLERANCE TO UNCERTAINTY IN THE PROBLEM OF FUNCTIONING OF PSYCHOLOGICAL BOUNDARIES OF THE INDIVIDUAL AT THE STAGE OF YOUTH // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 5 (33). P. 175-181

The article deals with the problem of personality functioning in the conditions of modern uncertainty and variability. This research focuses on the relationship between tolerance to uncertainty and psychological boundaries of personality in youth. The concepts of tolerance and intolerance to uncertainty, psychological boundaries are considered; the relationship between the considered constructs is substantiated. An empirical study of the specifics of the relationship between tolerance to uncertainty and the functions of psychological boundaries of young people is conducted. During the experiment, the following methods were used:» New questionnaire of tolerance-intolerance to uncertainty «(T. V. Kornilova),» Method of diagnostics of psychological borders of personality « (T. S. Levi). The experimental study revealed the predominance of tolerance to uncertainty (including interpersonal tolerance to uncertainty) and the lack of formation of the psychological border in the period of youth. The relationship between the following indicators is established: non-admitting, restraining functions of psychological boundaries and interpersonal tolerance to uncertainty; tolerance to uncertainty and a combination of high values for non-admitting, restraining and low values for permeable, neutral, absorbing functions of psychological boundaries. The results of the study indicate inflexibility, maladaptivity, rigidity, impenetrability and closeness of psychological boundaries of young people, difficulties in exchanging information and energy between the external and internal space, perception of uncertainty as a threat, avoiding situations of inconsistency and variability, and avoiding contacts. The identified features contribute to the growth of stagnating trends, victimization, and hinder personal development and growth. The results obtained can be used to build programs for psychological and pedagogical support of young people in terms of activating their internal psychological resources necessary for effective functioning in the conditions of continuous challenges of everyday reality.

Kuryanovich Anna Vladimirovna TO THE QUESTION ABOUT TYPES OF SECONDARY LANGUAGE PERSONALITIES IN THE LIGHT OF A COMPETENCE APPROACH IN MODERN LINGUISTIC EDUCATION // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 132-142

The current stage of world historical development is characterized by a tendency towards economic and cultural rapprochement between countries and peoples, which forms a certain social order in the use of functional capabilities of both native and foreign languages by carriers in order to implement strategically important life tasks: educational, industrial, everyday – household, scientific, cultural. Mastering the Russian language by a foreign native speaker should take into account the achievements of a number of branches of scientific knowledge: linguodidactics, general pedagogy and psychology, theories of speech and textual activity, the theory of linguistic personality, psycholinguistics, communication science, subject methodology (theory and practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language). Based on their own pedagogical experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language in the audience of native Chinese speakers, by systematizing and generalizing the existing developments, the authors propose an original concept, in which the types of secondary linguistic personalities are described, distinguished on the basis of the competence approach. In the course of the study, the comparative method, observation and the method of scientific description are involved. Mastering a foreign language marks a certain level of competence characteristics of an inauthentic speaker. The most “advanced” level of proficiency in Russian as a foreign language presupposes the conscious use of the resources of the language, expressed in the ability to correctly assess the situation in terms of relevance, ethics and communicative expediency of use. From these positions, a secondary linguistic personality is understood as a carrier who masters a foreign language in an authentic socio-cultural context and relying on it in order to implement the tasks of effective multicultural communication. At the same time, the carrier demonstrates a certain level of development of competencies: linguistic, linguocultural, intercultural and communicative. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to say that in the study of the activity of a secondary linguistic personality aimed at mastering Russian as a foreign language, the most effective is the use of a competence-based approach. This approach allows us to study the secondary linguistic personality in the dynamics of the formation of its competence properties at each stage of development that we have identified: the formation of the secondary linguistic personality as a user of a foreign language, the formation of a system of special knowledge and skills in the foreign language in relation to the target language, professional knowledge of a foreign language. The presented typology of secondary linguistic personalities, highlighted on the basis of the competence-based approach, can be used in modern linguodidactics.

The article analyzes the experience of the organization of research work at the Faculty of Culture and Arts of Tomsk State Pedagogical University in the direction of training masters of 44.01.03 Pedagogical education, orientation (profile) Music. The role and place of the research work of students in the formation of professional competencies, in increasing the motivation to learn, expanding the research qualities of the future teacher is substantiated. The main directions and tasks of research work in the system of pedagogical training of students-musicians are indicated. The essence, content and forms of organization of research work of students in higher education institutions are considered, aimed at creating a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that allow to form attitudes towards science as a priority tool for diagnosis, design, forecasting and improvement of pedagogical practice in music education. Despite the presence of significant scientific developments, methodological recommendations, the effectiveness and efficiency of students’ research work still leaves much to be desired: the majority of future teachers have an incomplete or distorted understanding of this aspect of vocational training, in addition, they have no practically or present fragmentary relevant methodological knowledge and skills. The overwhelming number of students and a significant part of teachers are not aware of the social and personal significance of research activities, their place in vocational training, the general cultural development of a personality, its self-realization and effectiveness. There is still a certain inconsistency in the methods of managing the research work of students. Practice shows that the organization of research work of students contributes to improving the quality of training, the growth of scientific and pedagogical qualifications of teachers and scientific and pedagogical workers, the direct use of significant scientific potential to accelerate scientific and social development and achieve relevant results.

Lyashenko Mariya Igorevna SPIRITUAL AND MORAL DIRECTION OF THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF VOLUNTEERS AT LEISURE AND RECREATION SITES // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 1 (35). P. 9-17

The article raises the question of finding effective forms and means of overcoming the value disorientation of the younger generation. As a solution to this problem, the author proposes to use the volunteer resource of student youth, to attract future teachers to work with children’s associations of different ages at leisure and recreation sites. The content, purpose, objectives, methods and forms of interaction between volunteers and children at such sites determine the spiritual and moral orientation of their joint activities. To understand the specifics of such social practice, the author of the article presented the rationale for the peculiarities of educational activities of a spiritual and moral orientation, concretized the pedagogical goals and the result of this activity, taking into account possible restrictions, methods of selecting specific types and forms of interaction between children and volunteers, which allow initiating the spiritual efforts of pupils to self-analysis of activities and behavior, to motivate them to choose creative ways of self-realization. These theoretical propositions have been tested in practice and have proven their effectiveness within the framework of the “Guys from Our Yard” project, which has been implemented for five years by students of the Solikamsk State Pedagogical Institute (branch) of the Perm State National Research University. The materials proposed in the article can be used by volunteer associations, student pedagogical teams for organizing educational activities of a spiritual and moral orientation at leisure and recreation sites (or in working conditions with children’s associations of different ages at the place of residence).

Semenkina Irina Arturovna, Pavlova Tatyana Alexandrovna THE FUTURE OF HIGHER EDUCATION FORMATS FROM THE FACULTY VIEWPOINT // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 4 (44). P. 91-106

A survey of university teachers (130 people) from various study areas was conducted to identify the prevailing attitudes and judgments about the implementation and prospects for the development of various formats of higher education in an unstable epidemiological situation and changing socioeconomic conditions. The authors attempted to analyze the factors that determined the survey results and the challenges of creating conditions ensuring the optimal implementation of various formats in a modern university. The successful experience of the university faculty in a number of projects in the development of the digital educational environment at the international and all-Russian level is described. Inferior learning outcomes in the online format in comparison with face-to-face and blended format were reported by the respondents. The survey revealed an optimistic view of the teaching community regarding the prospects for the development of a blended format. Blended and face-to-face formats were preferred by the majority of respondents, regardless of their teaching experience at the university. Questions about the level of online education, effective tools for assessing its quality, measures to encourage online work turned out to be the most “sensitive”, which was reflected in the significant proportion of evasive answer to the above questions. Higher education ecosystems often lack professionals specializing in instructional design, data analysis, educational program development, educational technologies, etc., which adversely affects the quality of educational products.

Lebedeva Kseniya Sergeyevna USE OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND ACTIVITY GAME “FIND PROBLEM AND SOLUTION” IN STUDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL INDEPENDENCE FORMATION // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 3 (25). P. 20-25

The article considers the problem of studying and development of educational independence of students in the context of educational activity in higher education institution. The most effective form of educational activity of students is the organizational and activity game Find problem and solution at the heart of which is the students’ search and solution of the problem situations presented in films. This game consists of several parts – preparatory, game and reflexive. During the game, each student performs a specific role – director, screenwriter, actor, which allows showing and developing various educational positions. Director controls the entire process, and is responsible for the entire result of the work. Screenwriter prepares the scenario of a solution. Actors play the scenario written by screenwriters. As a result of joint activities during the game students develop abilities to educational actions, understand their sense; to acquire teamwork skills with others; start showing initiative and a subject line item. The leading idea of a research is that students, being involved in joint activity during the game, seized various ways of the organization of educational activity, and then “transferred” these ways to their own independent activity. It allowed increasing their level of self-organization and motivation in the professional sphere. The article is of interest to teachers of higher education institutions and students of pedagogical specialties.

Smirnaya Anastasiya Andreyevna, Smirnova Anastasiya Viktorovna TEACHING PRACTICE AS THE INCLUSION OF A FUTURE TEACHER IN INTERACTION WITH THE FAMILY // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 2 (24). P. 40-47

The article is devoted to the problem of the future teacher inclusion in interaction with the family in the process of teaching practice. The transition to tiered education in universities, the importance of meeting the new requirements of the State and society offer new challenges for pedagogical practice, increase its value in mastering pedagogical competences, the basics of teaching and educational work. Pedagogical practice as one of the forms of vocational training in the university relies on theoretical professional knowledge and provides grounds for practical cognition of patterns and principles of education and upbringing. In the educational process the course work and cognitive activity of future teachers is closely related to the academic disciplines of theoretical training. During teaching practice, theoretical knowledge is therefore used in solving practical problems. Teaching practice, serving as an activity, is interpreted as the interdependence of internal and external substantive activity, the coordination of goals, objectives, motivations, conditions for their achievement. Internal actions imply planning, foreseeing the outcome, understanding the purpose, principles and mode of action and implementation criteria. External actions imply organization of real practical activity and interaction with objects and phenomena of the surrounding reality. This situation is characteristic of the future teacher’s activities during the teaching practice, which contributes to the development of general pedagogical knowledge and skills. The content of teaching practice is aimed at students’ development of cognitive, activity and emotional-personal components (criteria) of vocational training for interaction with the family. In the course of the experimental work the level of students’ preparedness for interaction was assessed. The results showed positive dynamics of changes in the components of students’ preparedness for interaction.

As a result of the analysis of the factor structure of the categories of subjects «Addiction», «Corruption», «UND» and «Norm», it was revealed that the commission of a certain unlawful action (or lack thereof) occurs under the influence of a complex action of factors. The results of the conducted experiment made it possible to reveal the existing correlation links between the motive, intellectual and personal characteristics in the form of the relevant factors that to varying degrees affect the relevant categories of wrongful acts. The factor of normative behavior is revealed. It is the factor of creativity. It is proved that the components of the identified factors in complex determine the commission of the corresponding unlawful act. The revealed peculiarities of persons who were not ever brought to criminal responsibility show the presence of intellectual-motivational determinants of both normative behavior and various types of unlawful actions of the individual. The obtained results experimentally support the hypothesis that the features of human mental activity in interaction with motivations and personal characteristics in complex are a dynamic (constantly changing in the course of life in certain limits) factor that determines the decision to commit a certain type of unlawful action.

Pupysheva Mariya Vladimirovna, Kharitonova Mariya Aleksandrovna ASSESSMENT TOOLS IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES FOR HIGHER EDUCATION: CHALLENGES OF GENERATION Z // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 143-153

The article focuses on the effectiveness of traditional assessment tools applied in higher education for teaching generation Z, considering the fact that the new generation of students has its own characteristics, including increased anxiety and lack of long-term forecasting skills. These features, combined with the intuitive use of the Internet, reduce the effectiveness of traditional written tests, giving way to more interactive methods. The authors suggest a number of modern tools suitable for the formative and summative assessment in both classroom and remote learning, highly demanded during the pandemic: Quizlet multimedia cards, Learningapps small interactive modules, the Edpuzzle platform for video files, online testing services of Kahoot! and Class Marker, as well as Mentimeter interactive presentations service. The indisputable advantage of the listed applications is their intuitiveness, and therefore they do not require long training for using them, and they also can reduce the time spent on the preparation and evaluation of students’ tests. The proposed interactive assessment tools imply an active use of smartphones by students and have a positive effect on their motivation, help them form a proper idea of their own progress and integrate digital technologies into the educational process, which in itself is already a priority for the modern education system.

Fayzullayeva Elena Dmitrievna PSYCHOLOGICAL TASK IN THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF A MODERN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION TEACHER // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 5 (27). P. 56-66

The question of professional tasks of a preschool education teacher is discussed. Pedagogical activity is a process of solving professional tasks of various types. The article describes the psychological task, as one of the types of professional tasks in educational activities. The specificity of the psychological task in a teacher’s practice is its uncertainty. The uncertainty of the task is related to an individual’s perception of a situation, his personal attitude towards that situation, the individual experience of solving such problematic situations and the presence of personal meanings regarding what is happening in the context of the general level of psychological maturity of a person. This implies the variability of solutions. The choice of pedagogical actions is connected to a number of conditions: the perception of the situation, attitude towards the situation, the emotions it causes, the experience of solving problematic situations and the preferred behavioral models and the desired outcome. The article describes the informative characteristics of the three solutions of the psychological problem. The following situation is psychologically competent: a wholesome perception of the situation, the attitude towards the situation as a meaningful one for others (a personally and socially significant situation), feelings are associated with internal experiences shared with feelings of others; decisions are aimed for benefitting all of the participants of the situation, the result is defined as useful and significant for other people, for society, along with their own achievements. The article provides an example of solving a psychological problem by a teacher in the form of a case in accordance with the third option. Appeal to the groups of universal and general professional competencies, indicated in modern FGOS VO, showed that each of the designated competencies contains not only psychological terminology, but also contains ideas of a variable approach towards their development. One of the options for the development of professional competencies, in our opinion, is the use of a task approach that includes a combination of different types of tasks. In the typification of professional tasks noted in the FGOS VO 3 ++, the psychological task is included in broad nominations of such types as accompaniment, cultural and educational, organizational and managerial, methodical.
