Baydagulova T.A. APPLICATION OF COMPETENCE TASKS IN STUDYING CHRISTMAS STORIES IN LITERATURE LESSONS: STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 5 (45). P. 57-66

This article discusses the concepts of “competence” and “competence task”, attention to which is due to the emergence of a new educational paradigm reflecting the practical orientation of the content of education. The priority is not the development of subject knowledge, skills and abilities, but the systematic and harmonious development of the student’s personality, mastering basic competencies. The analysis of pedagogical sources revealed the problem of the lack of a fullfledged competence-oriented educational and methodological support for the educational subject “Literature”, which indicates the relevance of developments in this area. Widely presented in modern school programs, Yuletide prose is a rich source of cultural information. It allows students to learn the facts of the material and spiritual culture of the people, history, mythological and religious beliefs, philosophy, morality, national way of thinking, which contributes to the formation of students’ necessary personal, meta-subject and subject competencies. Considering the main characteristics of the competence task, the author offers an approximate version of such a task based on the material of O. Henry’s Christmas story “The Gift of the Magi”, as well as criteria for evaluating the quality of its performance. In the future, the research is a methodical description of such tasks based on the methodological matrix of the case study.

Tolstoukhova I.V. PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE AS THE INITIAL STAGE OF PROFESSIONAL PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY OF A MASTER’S DEGREE STUDENT // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 3 (43). P. 42-49

In technical universities, the main source of replenishment of the teaching staff are students of this university. The issue of attracting students to scientific and scientific-pedagogical activities is relevant today. The author of the article believes that the initial stage of motivation and solving the problem with teaching staff is pedagogical practice. It is the pedagogical practice of undergraduates within the walls of an engineering university that contributes to the individual choice of a further profession, ensures the motivated involvement of students in the cognitive sphere, in the structure of both general and pedagogical education. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of pedagogical practice of undergraduates as an initial path for the development and formation of professional pedagogical activity of a future teacher. The scientific novelty consists in substantiating the role of pedagogical practice as the most important factor in the pre-training of pedagogical personnel. The author concludes that in order to successfully solve the problems of training pedagogical personnel in technical universities through master’s education, it is necessary: to attract undergraduate students (starting from the first courses) for professional and pedagogical training, with admission to the master’s degree; to develop an engineering core of academic disciplines, the structure of which should include pedagogical disciplines and pedagogical practice in order to motivate pedagogical activity; development of an intra-university program of step-by-step selection and training of young teachers from among undergraduates for professional and pedagogical activity and their further professional development; creation of comfortable organizational and pedagogical conditions and incentives for undergraduates to receive professional and pedagogical training.

The educational process in these schools will be carried out in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education of the Russian Federation. The features of the implementation of the pre-school training program, developed in accordance with the requirements of the preschool education standard and tested in classes with bilingual children, are described. The features of bilingual six-year-olds are determined. The methods of organizing educational and play activities of preschool children who have mastered the Russian language at different levels are described, which in the future may cause difficulties for students in achieving subject and meta-subject results determined by the educational program. The speech environment is characterized, which has formed a natural bilingualism in the child and does not contribute to enriching the speech experience of a preschooler. The reasons for the difficulties in teaching bilingual children are explained. The reasons of difficulties in conducting classes on pre-school preparation, which arise both in children and in the teacher, are revealed. The stages of the organization of preschool training of future first-graders are presented, the essential directions of this work, including linguistic and mathematical content, are considered. Kurushin P.D. Features of teaching in educational institutions of the penitentiary type // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 36-46

The article describes the features of the convict’s behavior, analyzes his personality and how long-term isolation from society affects it. The lack of full-fledged social interaction has a number of negative effects on a person’s mental health. The purpose of the criminal executive legislation of Russia is the correction of convicts, as well as the prevention of the commission of new crimes. In order for a full-fledged law-abiding citizen to return to society, who would benefit the state and society, it is necessary to make a lot of efforts by the employees of the correctional institution. The final result of educational work depends on the level of competence of teachers. In addition to high professionalism, the teacher must have certain qualities and show great patience and flexibility in working with young people in the colony. In order for the work done to be effective, it is necessary to apply various pedagogical technologies, modern non-traditional forms and methods of work. Particular attention is paid to what difficulties the teacher faces when working in an unfavorable environment, what features he subsequently acquires, what barriers he encounters on his way and what is necessary in order to overcome them. The article presents the specifics and general state of the educational process in the colony. A set of problems is considered, the solution of which is possible only under the condition of mutual interest of representatives of branch science, teaching staff of schools of correctional colonies and heads of institutions.

Neumoyeva-Kolchedantseva E.V., Volosnikova L.M., Bykov S.A. ASSESSMENT OF THE OBJECTIVE ASPECT OF TEACHER’S SELF-DETERMINATION IN THE CONTEXT OF EDUCATIONAL INCLUSION // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 3 (43). P. 90-100

Educational inclusion is considered as a context and ontological basis for self-determination of a teacher’s personality. The relevance of assessing the self-determination of the teacher’s personality is associated with the recognition of the personal «factor» as the driving force of inclusion. Selfdetermination of the teacher’s personality is considered on the basis of the subject-activity approach through the category of «attitude». The subjective aspect of self-determination is the relationship of the individual to himself as a subject of inclusion. The objective aspect of self-determination includes the relationship of the individual to the conditions and processes of inclusion in relation to a group of people with disabilities and people with disabilities. The dialectical nature of the connection between the subjective and objective aspects of self-determination necessitates the choice of a relevant approach and assessment tools. This approach is a subject-object approach: the assessment is carried out according to formalized indicators, but included in the inclusive processes by the subject (teacher). The subject of this study is the objective aspect of the teacher’s self-determination in an inclusive educational space. The study is aimed at identifying, analyzing and interpreting the current status of teachers’ attitudes towards the conditions and processes of inclusion in education. The presented results of the study allow us to state an unexpressed positive trend in the dynamics of teachers’ attitudes towards inclusion. In this regard, the prospects for inclusive education are associated with the “strengthening” of the identified positive trend, including in the process of professional training (and retraining) of teachers.

Efimkina A.O. Analysis of metamodels for verbal representation of clothing by women // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 5 (57). P. 101-113

This article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying and analyzing significant categories of verbal representation of clothing provided by female respondents. The relevance of the study lies in exploring human identity through the adornment of appearance in accordance with their ideals of the ideal self. Contemporary research on the relationship between clothing and identity has focused more on social and cultural stereotypes than on the psychological aspects of clothing choice. The material of the article addresses this gap in psychology research. The study was conducted using the method of psychological questionnaires, with 36 women aged 24–55 years. The author examines elements of verbal representation of clothing as reflections of the process of self-identification in women. The analysis conducted contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationship between speech, clothing, and identity. For practicing psychologists, the ability to analyze and interpret visual aspects of client appearance is an important skill that aids in the effective diagnosis of personal psychological issues. The main focus of the article is the analysis of speech metamodels used in describing clothing. The study reveals that, in addition to direct verbal messages, respondents unconsciously express their emotions and attitudes through speech constructs. The authors draw on symbolic interactionism, psychoanalytic, and neurolinguistic approaches for analysis. Three categories of clothing meanings were identified: utilitarian, social, and personal. Additionally, three metamodels were described and analyzed: denial, use of expressive language, and metaphorical expressions. Client case examples are provided for illustration. Clothing possesses universal communicative meanings. When analyzing descriptions of appearance, attention should be paid not only to the content of speech but also to its structure, as it carries additional semantic nuances and provides psychologists with the opportunity to analyze unconscious motives of individuals, thereby enhancing therapeutic dialogue possibilities. The research findings are useful for psychologists, non-medical psychotherapists, and art therapists, who can use projective clothing descriptions for diagnosing and identifying client behavioral patterns for subsequent correction. Additionally, the results may be important for researchers in the fields of clothing and identity, as well as for image consultants, designers, and stylists.

Lanskikh M.V., Gut Y.N., Gasanova D.R. The relationship of emotional intelligence and self-attitude among representatives of different types of professions // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 6 (58). P. 93-102

The transformations taking place in modern society make the content of any professional activity more and more complicated every year, which leads to changes in the business environment of the organization and, above all, in interpersonal communication and relationships between its employees. Formation of effective communication and interaction skills is an important and necessary condition for the development of each employee of the organization today. Those employees who can develop emotional intelligence at a high level, i.e. learn to regulate their emotional states, understand the emotions and feelings of the people around them and focus on them in the process of interaction, will be able to effectively achieve their goals and be successful in their field of activity. The authors suggested that: 1) representatives of different types of professions have their own characteristics of emotional intelligence, 2) the specifics of a person’s professional activity will influence the nature of the connections between indicators of emotional intelligence and self-attitude. The study was conducted on the basis of centers providing psychological assistance, design agencies and companies in the field of promoting modern information technologies in Belgorod. The Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire by K. Barchard (adapted by G.G. Knyazev et al.) and the Self-Attitude Test Questionnaire by V.V. Stolin and S.R. Panteleev were used as diagnostic tools. 32 psychologists engaged in private practice, 27 interior designers creating design projects for residential and office premises, and 34 IT-specialists developing and implementing software products participated in the testing. The data obtained during the study and their analysis allowed us to conclude that the level of development of emotional intelligence and almost all its indicators prevails among psychologists. It was established that the nature of the relationships between the indicators of emotional intelligence and self-attitude is influenced by the specifics of the professional activity of each sample under consideration.

Mukhina S.E., Mukhin V.V. Correlation between professional identity and creativity of psychology students // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 6 (58). P. 114-124

Professional identity is the key to successful work and the most effective use of the potential of a psychologist. The purpose of the study is to study the relationship between professional identity and creativity among psychology students. The methodological basis of the study was the work of domestic psychologists on professional identity: L. B. Schneider, E. P. Ermolaeva, D. I. Zavalishina, A. V. Ebicha, A. A. Azbel and others. In the empirical study, a set of psychological techniques was used: E. Torrance’s creativity technique; method of verbal creativity S. Mednik, method of studying professional identity statuses A. A. Azbel, test to determine the professional personality type of J. Holland. The empirical sample consisted of 80 students of the Faculty of Psychology of NSPU aged from 18 to 21 years, of whom 70 were girls and 10 boys. The results of the study showed: the majority of psychology students demonstrate a formed professional identity and a crisis in choosing a professional identity; relate primarily to social and artistic professional personality types. The relationships between professional identity status and creativity have been identified. Conclusions. The more pronounced the formed status of professional identity, the higher the ability of students to put forward ideas that differ from the obvious, well-known, generally accepted, banal or firmly established, and openness to new things. As a way to overcome the identity crisis for psychology students, it is proposed to introduce forms of learning into the educational process that promote the development of creativity and pay attention to practical training.

Sheynov V.P., Yermak V.O. Virtual and real space of modern belarusian youth: social and psychological context // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 3 (49). P. 150-159

The virtual space of modern youth includes social networks. Active participation in them leads to dependence on social networks, and it is associated with a number of manifestations of psychological distress. Therefore, the study of dependence on social networks is very important. The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis about possible links between social media addiction and self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and style of behavior in conflict situations. The article found that the virtual space for a significant number of young Belarusians has already become preferred in communication, entertainment and work, and that boys and girls have negative associations of dependence on social networks with self-confidence and positive associations with dependence on smartphones and with all the factors that shape it. It is shown that it is psychological problems that are the main cause of dependence on social networks. The dependence of young men on social networks is negatively associated with social courage and positively with the “conflict avoidance” style. Boys and girls have completely different connections between social media addiction and emotional intelligence components. These results are new, since neither domestic nor foreign publications have been able to find reliable conclusions about the relationship of dependence on social networks with components of emotional intelligence and behavior in conflicts. The facts obtained testify to the negative impact of the new virtual reality on a number of important socio-psychological parameters of the personality of a modern young person.

Suryaninova T.I., Stepanenko A.A., Dubashevskaya E.A. PECULIARITIES OF SELF-ATTITUDE AND LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL IN PERSONS WITH VISUAL DISABILITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF JOINT ACTIVITIES // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 2 (42). P. 166-178

The absence of special conditions that facilitate the development and realization of a person with deep vision pathology leads to an increase in the likelihood of the formation of negative attitudes towards oneself. Negative self-attitude is reflected in the ability to engage in joint activities, affecting primarily leadership potential. As a result, cognition of oneself and activity in interpersonal interaction decrease. Most of the work is aimed at tracking the impact of visual impairment on mental development and the study of compensation processes. The aim of our research is to study the characteristics of self-attitude and leadership potential that affect involvement in joint activities, which is considered the driving force of mental development. The article presents the data of an experimental study of the characteristics of self-attitude and leadership potential in persons with visual impairments and their influence on the development of cooperation within the framework of joint activities. The results obtained by the methods «Self-relation» by V. V. Stolin, S. R. Panteleeva, “Ability for Leadership” by R. S. Nemova and “Arka” A. S. Chernyshev, S. V. Sarycheva, modified version. Differences in self-attitude and leadership ability in totally blind versus healthy are considered. The influence of the revealed features on the development of cooperation in joint activities is analyzed, conclusions are formulated. Galkina T.V. ORGANIZATION OF WORK WITH HISTORICAL LITERATURE ON THE TOPIC “CONTRIBUTION OF TOMSK INDUSTRY TO THE VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR” // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 6 (46). P. 122-130

This article is devoted to the topical issues of organization of project activities of patriotic orientation, related to the modeling creation of the historical projects. The basic part of the proposed historical projects is a resource information complex of the archival materials of The Great Patriotic War period and historical publications on the problems of this war. This article proposes a step-by-step technology for development of information: the first stage – the study of historical literature, including memoir literature, the second stage – the study of archival sources of wartime, the third stage – the development and presentation of a socially significant project product. This article pays serious attention to the specifics of direct work with the historical literature: more than 30 historical and Internet publications on mentioned problem are revealed, its multi-genre specificity is determined, which affects identification of objective information about activities of Tomsk defense industry during The Great Patriotic War. At the same time, the need for a critical approach to the study of historical publications written by non-professional historians is declared in order to avoid the use of unverified information. The first stage development of the local history patriotic project creates prerequisites for the further effective archival research of the stated problem. These provisions are proposed based on the experience of implementing the patriotic project of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University “Victory Map - 80”, dedicated to the contribution of the rear territories of the USSR to the victory in the Great Patriotic War (on the example of Tomsk).

Starodubtseva O.G. The stages of formation of foreign language professional lexical competence at Medical University // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 3 (55). P. 64-71

The author shows the stages of formation of foreign language professional lexical competence based on the use of previous and current interdisciplinary connections, characterizes the skills of each stage in the process of formation of the professional lexical competence, gives an example of the developed plan for systematic interaction between students and teacher emphasizing the impact of the plan on the stage formation of students’ oral speech. The article touches the psychophysiological basis of lexical skills which is the automated dynamic links as unity of semantic and auditoryspeech-motor images of certain lexical items in the process of their application in speech activities. The formation of this kind of links determines automated processes of vocabulary application in a coherent speech context causing the effective formation of foreign language professional lexical competence. The described stages involve the use of interdisciplinary connections at the stage of formation of language lexical skills as an initial component of lexical competence, at the stage of formation of lexical skills of reproductive-productive oral speech as the progressive constituent of professional lexical competence and at the stage of spontaneous speech as the stage of application of productive lexical skills that determine the formation of professional lexical competence.

PERSONAL FACTORS OF TEACHERS’ SELF-REGULATION // Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 3 (17). P. 144-152

The analysis of literary data showed the relevance of the problem of the influence of various personal structures on the process of organizing and implementing an arbitrary human activity. Among the most important determinants of the formation of self-regulation, personal characteristics and structures of various orders are distinguished. Specificity of the activity of the pedagogical worker is such that the personal characteristics of the employee, along with his professional qualities, are one of the main tools for influencing the participants in the educational process and the factor that determines the effectiveness of professional activity. The ability to self-regulation of mental states are of particular importance in pedagogical work. The question of personal factors of self-regulation among pedagogical employees is considered. Provides a characteristic feature of the most important professional competence of a teacher, which is a conscious self-regulation of mental states and behavior, suggesting the study, the definition and development of the individual abilities, awareness of its resources. The results of the study of personality characteristics in their relationship with the individual style self-regulation are presented. In the context of our study, we formulated the assumption that successful professional activity of teachers is mediated individually – typological features of self-regulation of mental states. Multi-level personal factors of selfregulation of the subject of pedagogical activity are described. The differences in individual psychological characteristics with different levels of conscious self-regulation in the empirical group and representatives of nonsocionomy professions. The analysis of the factor structure of personal performance of teachers revealed the influence of the emotional and substantive aspects of the personality (irritability, balance, aggressiveness, emotional instability, anxiety reactions, acute stress conditions associated with the professional teaching activities) in the self-regulation of the teacher. The factor effect in subjects of non-national specialties is difficult to trace, because it is represented by a discrepancy between the structure of selfregulation and individual-typological properties, their contradictory relationships. The reasons for this discrepancy are due to weak correlations, professional differences, the specifics of socionic and non-social activities.

Ledovskaya T.V., Morozov A.S., Solynin N.E. Interactive simulator as a means of formative assessment // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 4 (50). P. 141-152

The article shows that in the current situation of the development of the education system, new assessment methods are needed that favor the implementation of the principles of dynamics, development and accumulation of experience, expansion of educational results by students. Formative assessment turns out to be a very effective technology, as it is one of the options that is applicable when teaching at different levels of education, specialists of different profiles; promotes the development of personality and activity of participants in educational relations, as it is built on the principle of feedback. It is noted that the principle of dialogism maximally meets the tasks that teachers and teachers of higher education have to solve in the conditions of the new Federal State Educational Standards. The results of the use of interactive simulators for the formation and assessment of the level of development of universal pedagogical competencies developed by the author’s team are shown, which allow us to say that there are no differences by region, do not depend on the contingent of students and the qualifications of teachers, which is an indicator of their stability and reliability. Significant differences in courses, which allowed us to deduce a pattern in increasing the decision time and, accordingly, higher scores from the 1st course to the 4th, allows us to talk about the possibility of the simulator to track the development of the competence of future teachers, the formation of their responsibility and a more serious attitude to pedagogical situations. Thus, interactive simulators are an effective means of formative assessment, because they are interactive, contain feedback, and they also contain elements that motivate students to further professional development.

Kuryanovich A.V. Education in Russian in a Kenyan secondary school: main issues of methodological support // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 58-69

The issues of designing education in Russian in a Kenyan comprehensive school are considered in the aspect of organizing linguodidactic support. The goal and objectives of this activity are formulated, the complicating and enabling factors are analyzed, the stages in the work of a specialist in the implementation of subject education for Kenyan schoolchildren using the resources of the Russian language as part of general education, correlating with the periods of preparation in primary, secondary and high school, are highlighted. It is emphasized that interest in the problem is determined by the steady growth of the importance of multilingual and multicultural education in the modern world. The proposed approach, built on the basis of the achievements of modern ethnolinguodidactics, ethnopedagogy and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, is based on the priorities of the external state educational policy related to the promotion of a positive image of Russia in the modern international arena, including in the countries of the African continent, by means of the national language and national culture.

Godunov M.V., Akhmedova S.N., Portnov E.A. The specifics of avoiding behavior of students in various situations // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 2 (54). P. 122-128

The article aims to present the results of the study of the characteristics of the avoidance strategy as a coping behaviour, as a way of resolving conflicts, and as a model of decision making. The battery of tests includes the Amirkhan dominant Coping Strategies Identification test (CSI), the Thomas-Kilmann test of predisposition to conflict behaviour (TKI), the Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaire test (MDMQ), D.A. Leontiev Life-purpose orientations test (LPO). Sample size was n=70. Testing was conducted simultaneously among two groups of male students receiving a legal education. The first group consisted of 18-year-old students of 1-2 years of study (n=34). The second group consisted of 22-year-old students of 4-5 years of study (n=36). It was found that 22-year-old students are more prone to es-cape stressful situations. However, they are less inclined to an avoidance strategy in conflicts-to-avoiding when choosing in uncertain situations. At the same time, they demonstrate a greater degree of flexibility of behaviour in stressful, conflict situations and when choosing in conditions of uncertainty, as well as greater comprehension of the system of life goals than 18-year-old students. According to the authors of the article, this is due to the high level of development of the image of the professional world due to the higher level of mastering the chosen profession among 22-year-old students completing their studies, compared to their younger colleagues just starting vocational training.

Karpov A.V., Chernov D.N. Functional organization of language competence from the point of view of the metasystem approach // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 3 (55). P. 112-123

The paper reveals the content of the metasystem approach to the study of the functional structure of language competence as a psychological-pedagogical phenomenon. The analysis of the currently conducted research carried out in the field of linguistics, pedagogy and psychology has demonstrated a weak elaboration of the problem of the functional organization of the language competence system. The partial functions of the system are considered as derivatives of the functional orientation of its fragmentary components. The functional certainty of the system is formed as an additive set of “elementary” functions. The metasystem approach makes it possible to uncover and overcome “implicit” contradictions in the understanding of the functional organization of the language competence system. The basic metasystem regularities of the functional organization of systems with a built-in meta-level, to the class of which language competence belongs, are considered. These regularities are the principle of meta-goal determination of the system, the principle of diachronic system organization, the principle of constant interaction of the actual and potential content of the system. Theoretical assumptions are put forward about the increase in the functional capacity of the language competence system as its structural and dynamic organization becomes more complex. The functional organization of language competence depends on the change in complexity and, accordingly, on the delay in achieving the goal of the educational language task. The content of adaptive, regulatory and transformational-generative functions of language competence is revealed. It is established that language reflection, a sense of language, language skills and abilities are “tools” for the implementation of these functions. At the same time, their functional capacity differs depending on their place in the structural-hierarchical organization of the language competence system. The formulated assumptions are important for creating a methodologically reasonable program of psychological-pedagogical support for the formation of language competence as a functionally mature structural and dynamic systemic structural part of personality of a pupil.

Ral’nikova I.A., Gurova O.S., Ippolitova E.A. Professional prospects of modern teenagers // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 6 (52). P. 186-193

A scientific view on the study of professional prospects of teenagers as a psychological system is presented. From the standpoint of the systematic approach, the dimensions of professional prospects have been determined: value-semantic, cognitive, emotional-evaluative, organizational-activity. The value-semantic dimension of professional prospects is a set of value and semantic formations of a person that determine the individual specifics of the process and result of future planning (values, value orientations, motives, personal meanings). The cognitive dimension of professional prospects is represented by a set of expected and planned events in the field of professional activity. The emotional-evaluative dimension is determined by the attitude of the person to the project of his own future, connected with the field of professional development. The organizational-activity dimension is represented by a set of styles, strategies, forms of human behavior in the present, determined by ideas about planned and expected events in the professional sphere. The results of the empirical research have shown that the values of professional activity, health and self-development are the basis for the construction of the career prospects of adolescents. Teenagers focus on planning events in the medium-distant future, a period from one to five years. During this period their professional prospects consist of such planned events as «pass exams», «finish school», «enroll in college/university». Teenagers are positive about the image of a professional future. It is attractive, realistic, stable, diverse, easy for them. Self-organization of the activities of adolescents is in the process of development, in this age period, skills of tactical planning and strategic goal-setting are actively formed. The study showed that the process of designing professional perspectives in adolescence is in the process of formation and modern teenagers cope successfully with the task of planning a professional future.

In the context of the ongoing global geopolitical transformations, the training of qualified personnel for industries developing and rebuilding in accordance with the new technological order and the needs of the digital Russian economy is of particular importance. In this regard, it is of particular importance to attract young personnel to the vocational education system and create conditions for the formation of human resources already at the stages of basic general and secondary general education. To solve the problem of the existing personnel shortage, the Federal project «Professionalism» has been developed, one of the goals of which is to popularize and increase the prestige of working professions, including through cooperation between organizations of the secondary vocational education system and students of general education organizations. Ensuring the effectiveness of such cooperation presupposes the presence of a trained teacher mentor and a developed program of pre-professional training for schoolchildren in a sought-after profession. An example of such cooperation is the implementation of the program of preprofessional training of schoolchildren in the professional direction of «Forest Management and reforestation Engineering». The implementation of early professional orientation of schoolchildren in the form of pre-professional training provides not only information about the nomenclature of modern and in-demand professions on the labor market, but also makes it possible to carry out professional tests in promising professions and specialties of regional economic sectors. The potential of the opportunities provided by the platform of the federal project «Ticket to the future» within the framework of the project «Success of every child» of the Passport of the national project «Education» in terms of the development and implementation of the program of early professional orientation of schoolchildren of grades 6-11 of secondary school in the competence «Forest management and reforestation Engineering» is investigated.

Strelenko A.A. PECULIARITIES OF INTERACTION OF MOTHERS WITH FOSTER AND BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 6 (46). P. 193-205

The article is devoted to determining the peculiarities of parent-child interaction of mothers with foster and biological sons and daughters. The main hypothesis was the assumption that there are reliable differences in the interaction with children depending on their gender and depending on the form of parenting of mothers. The study included 218 mothers – 22 to 71 years (M=43.95; SD=10.01), of which foster mothers n=112 – 27 to 71 years (M=50.40; SD=7.69) and biological mothers n=106 – 22 to 55 years (M=37.32; SD=7.46). The mothers’ groups were conventionally divided into 4 subgroups, the first included foster mothers who described their interaction with foster sons (n=48), sons’ ages 3 to 17.5 years (M=12.25; SD=3.87); the second included foster mothers who described their interaction with foster daughters (n=64), daughters’ ages 4 to 17 years (M=12.84 SD=3.24); the third included biological mothers who described their interaction with their biological sons (n=52), their ages 2.9 to 19 years (M=10.61; SD=4.80); the fourth included native mothers who described their interaction with their biological daughters (n=54), the daughters 4 to 17 years (M=10.07; SD=4.49). The results of the study revealed significant differences with regard to foster sons, with whom foster mothers will be more strict than foster daughters. Compared to biological daughters and sons in biological mothers’ interactions with them, foster mothers in relation to their foster sons and daughters will exhibit more controlling behavior, inconsistency in educational tactics, and consider themselves more authoritative parents. The results of the study show that parent-child interaction in biological and foster mothers, depends not so much on the gender of the children, but on the form of their parenthood.

The relevance of the topic of the article is due to the undeniable importance of the formation of professional motivation for the academic achievements of future teachers in the process of studying in higher education, their successful professional adaptation, and self-realization in the teaching profession. Individualization of the educational process through students building an individual educational trajectory (IET) of personal and professional development and education acts as a key factor determining the development of positive professional motivation of future teachers (freedom of choice of training courses, sources of information, methods and means of independent work that satisfy the need in autonomy, competence, affiliation). One of the forms of individualization of professional training of future teachers - undergraduate students is the organization of the educational process according to the “2+2” or “2+3” scheme (with two profiles), providing applicants with the opportunity to enter an enlarged group of specialties/directions (UGSN) with subsequent choosing the direction of training and profiles of the educational program after the second year. The implementation of the “2+2(3)” training scheme at the Moscow City Pedagogical University revealed that students have difficulties associated with undeveloped skills of independent work, self-regulation of educational activities, responsibility for their professional choice, etc., which indicates the relationship between the success of training students in IET with the development of professional motivation of students (interest in teaching activities, awareness of its social significance, activity, perseverance, perseverance in achieving goals, etc.). Purpose of the study: to develop the structure and content of tutor support for bachelors of pedagogical education, including motivational support for the implementation of IOT. Research methods: analytical review of domestic and foreign scientific sources, comparative analysis, generalization of results, design. Results. The structure of tutor support is formed by four interconnected stages formed in the educational practice of universities (information-diagnostic, design, organizational-technological, evaluative-reflective). At each stage, the tutor, in the process of subject-subject interaction with the tutor, selectively influences his motivational states (desires, interests, aspirations, intentions, etc.), motivating, directing and supporting the tutor’s activities in the process of designing and implementing IOT.

Fan T., Polyakova E.V. Psychological factors in the development of intercultural competence of foreign students // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 4 (56). P. 133-141

Globalization processes in modern times are characterized by high intensity and versatility. The primary elements of globalization are the people inhabiting the planet. Among students, intercultural exchange is especially intense and complex. A big problem for students is combining efforts to develop intercultural competence with mastering the main educational program at an educational institution. The purpose of this study is to determine the essence and characteristics of psychological factors in the development of intercultural competence of foreign students. The scientific novelty of the work lies in considering and proposing the use of an integrated approach to stimulating the development of intercultural competencies, which requires simultaneously maintaining interest in a new culture, motivation to get to know it and, at the same time, recognition of the uniqueness of the socio-cultural experience of foreign students, providing them opportunities to show off your personality. A separate task is to suppress the formation of small ethnic groups in cases when belonging to such a group interferes with the student’s process of acculturation in a new environment. In general, the formation of intercultural competence does not come down to specific actions, but requires comprehensive provision of psychological comfort in a new environment. On the one hand, students are faced with academic pressure, on the other hand, the new environment poses challenges and raises questions for students. The success of developing intercultural competence depends equally on several subjects – first of all, on foreign students themselves, as independent individuals and people belonging to their own culture, on the staff of the educational institution and its students, as well as on society as a whole, as a broader environment into which the international student arrives.

Nenilin S.N. The component composition of the modern engineer’s soft skills // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 7-16

The article is devoted to the topical issue of pedagogical support for the formation of professional self-determination of schoolchildren in the single-industry town. The very process of formation of professional self-determination of schoolchildren is not new. At different times Russian scientists studied various aspects of the formation of professional self-determination: sociological, psychological, technological, pedagogical, professional development, methodological foundations, psychological and pedagogical support and scientific and methodological support. Over the past years, Russian scientists have been actively searching for new approaches to solving the problems of professional self-determination of schoolchildren and organizing this process. However, the issues of pedagogical support for professional self-determination of schoolchildren in single-industry towns, where negative socio-economic processes are observed (population outflow, closure or reduction of city-forming enterprises, limited number of qualified specialists, etc.), require theoretical and practical development, and, unlike federal and regional centers, there is limited amount of resources. The purpose of this study was to identify the conditions for the effectiveness of pedagogical support for the formation of professional self-determination of schoolchildren in a single-industry town. To achieve this purpose we used theoretical and empirical research methods: analysis and synthesis, modeling, design, pedagogical experiment, questioning, observation, methods of mathematical processing of the obtained results. The results obtained during the pedagogical experiment allow us to state that the effective conditions of the formation of professional self-determination of schoolchildren are: the implementation of pedagogical support at all stages of the process under consideration: diagnostic, design, activity, evaluation; designing the informational and educational environment of a single-industry town; organization of interaction between all subjects of the formation of professional self-determination of schoolchildren (educational organizations, parents, organizations of industry and the sphere of social services of the of a single-industry town – social partners). The results obtained in the study can be used in the educational practice of single-industry towns.

Neradovskaya O.R., Skripko Z.A., Minin M.G. Interdisciplinarity in higher pedagogical education: from the experience of teaching natural sciences // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 6 (58). P. 63-71

The necessity of filling educational programs of pedagogical directions and training profiles at the university with interdisciplinary content in the logic of the implementation of the new national project “Personnel” is actualized. The interdisciplinary nature of the natural sciences and humanities disciplines taught at the pedagogical University is shown in accordance with the principles of integration and complexity of a single interdisciplinary interaction space that removes the usual restrictions (barriers). The purpose of the study is to rethink the essence of the concept of “interdisciplinarity” using the example of teaching natural science disciplines at a pedagogical university. The principle of integration determines the formation of students’ understanding of the meaning of studying each discipline in relation to others: that is, due to which one academic discipline penetrates into another, mutually enriching each other. The principle of complexity ensures the dissemination of an interdisciplinary approach to the entire educational process at a pedagogical university. The interdisciplinary content of natural science disciplines is considered through the compilation of integration and systematizing tables, comparison of scales, writing essays, solving situational problems that are effectively used in higher pedagogical education. The use of such methods and forms allows university students to go beyond the narrow limits of individual disciplines, integrate and demonstrate a comprehensive view of the world, based on the unity and interrelation of man, nature, science and art. It is concluded that interdisciplinarity is the process of combining two or more disciplinary fields (their approaches, theories, methods of analysis, etc.) in a single space of interdisciplinary interaction. The key role in the implementation of this approach is played by the personal and professional profile of a higher school teacher who has the appropriate skills and shares the significant values of the organization.

Kudaka M.A., Medvedeva I.Z. Features of professional identity in students of specialised (technological) and general education classes // Pedagogical Review. 2025. Issue 2 (60). P. 104-115

The study of professional identity is a significant area in contemporary psychology. Analyzing this phenomenon allows us to identify the features of professional identity development at various stages of an individual’s life, as well as to determine effective strategies for the development and support of this aspect of personality. This is particularly relevant for high school students, since early identification of professional preferences and goals can increase motivation for learning and academic achievement. This paper examines the features of professional identity development in students of the 10th–11th grades in specialized (technological) and general education classes. The study employed “Questionnaire for Studying Professional Identity Statuses” by A. Azbel and A. Gretsov, and the “Human Professional Identity Questionnaire” by L.B. Schneider. To determine the differences, the mathematical-statistical method of data processing criterion φ* – Fisher’s angular transformation – was used. The study concludes that there are differences in the formation of professional identity statuses among students in specialized (technological) and general education classes. Most senior high school students, both from specialized (technological) and general education classes, are in the process of choosing their future professions. Notably, students from specialized classes are more frequently prepared to make a deliberate professional choice. Therefore, the findings obtained can be considered in further studies examining the impact of specialized education on the development of professional identity in senior high school students.

Krasnik Y.V. Development of an interactive cognitive training platform for the development of emotional intelligence among pedagogical university students: problem statement // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 5 (57). P. 15-23

The paper highlights the problem of shortage of young teachers in the system of secondary general and additional education, analyzes current requirements imposed by employers on young teachers’ soft-skills, and identifies deficiencies in emotional and communicative competence among university students. The paper also suggests that these factors might contribute to a drain of young professionals from schools. The author highlights problems young teachers face at schools, such as building relationships with other subjects of educational process, the inability to quickly navigate in a rapidly changing world, a high level of anxiety, and difficulties in controlling their own emotions. The relationship between these challenges and the level of teacher’s emotional intelligence is substantiated. The paper reviews modern studies of emotional intelligence among future teachers. Furthermore, the author presents own research design used in the study of emotional intelligence among the students of the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Cooperation at Tomsk State Pedagogical University. The results show insufficient level of emotional intelligence among future teachers. The paper hypotheses that development of emotional intelligence among today’s students of pedagogical universities might reduce their outflow from schools in future. Possible ways and challenges of emotional intelligence development among pedagogical students are examined. The author substantiates the feasibility of implementing a program for development of emotional intelligence among future teachers in the form of an interactive cognitive training platform. The paper describes the author’s model of an interactive cognitive training platform for the development of emotional intelligence among the students majoring in pedagogy (03.44.05 – Pedagogical education, with two profiles of training) and pursuing a bachelor’s degree. As well, it provides a conceptual basis of interactive cognitive training platform for the development of emotional intelligence among pedagogical university students along with the list of topics and competencies planned to be developed using the platform. In St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions, bachelors are being trained in the direction of training “Economics”. This paper deals with presenting of the process of development by the author of an electronic course in the discipline “Informatics”. Our e-course was developed and designed taking into account the previously published results. The relevance of scientific research subject is confirmed by the content of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education of higher education, according to which training using of modern information technologies is included in the mandatory part of the curriculum in the areas of training “Economics”. Office information technologies and phygital technologies are widely used by economists in their professional activities. It is necessary to take into account the types of activities specified in the standards that future economists should be ready to carry out: settlement and economic, analytical, research, organizational and management, pedagogical, accounting, settlement and financial, banking and insurance. Let us clarify that one of the leading areas characteristic of the analytical type of activity is search for information on the received task, collection and analysis of data necessary for specific economic calculations for economists. In the course of teaching the discipline “Informatics” of disciplines, students form the following competencies that determine the abilities of future economists to various types of activities using information technologies (primarily office software and electronic document management). In the course of our research, we study how to form these competencies. Material and methods: analysis of scientific literature, development of electronic courses for students of the Faculty of Economics; designing an electronic course in computer science, summarizing the results of teaching the discipline. In the course of our research, we consider the process of formation of competencies among students in the course of teaching the discipline “Informatics” and the relationship with the above disciplines. The sequence of teaching discipline to students of the Economics Faculty will be discussed. The object of our research is training students of the Economics faculty for using of modern information technologies. The subject of our research is the process of using electronic courses and distance learning systems during the teaching of the Informatics discipline. The purpose of this research is studying of the peculiarities distance learning tools and phygital-technologies using during training of economists. This work is aimed at developing and updating educational and methodological materials in the discipline “Informatics”, taking into account the modern features of information technologies. The novelty of the presented results lies in the author’s approach to designing the structure of the e-course and developing updated theoretical materials on the discipline, taking into account new versions of using software. The author, based on his own experience and generalization of the materials of the teachers of the department, developed educational and methodological materials on the discipline “Informatics”, designed to train future economists and managers. The results of teaching the discipline in the 2021/22 academic year for group of 1st year undergraduate students were summarized. Updating the educational and methodological materials on the above disciplines in an electronic course, taking into account the development of modern software tools and phygital technologies application in the trading. In the modern world, there is a contradiction between the need to prepare future economists for the use of modern office and phygital technologies in professional activities and the obsolescence of the developed educational and methodological materials on computer science and information technology. To solve this contradiction, modern educational and methodological materials on the discipline “Informatics” need to be developing and e-course constantly updating. This paper deals with the describing of the developed e-course structure and statistical data obtained from the results of checking students’ answers summarizing, prepared based on the results of completing tasks. In the future, we are planning to improve our e-course structure, taking into account modern trends in the digitalization of education and software.

Goncharenko A.V. Life models analysis as a method of researching domestic violence // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 4 (56). P. 89-98

Existing instruments for studying the experience of domestic violence may not be sufficiently adapted to capture the diverse aspects of the phenomenon. Such an instrument should be oriented to contemporary cultural and social contexts, allowing for a full exploration of the effects of disruptive experiences in different areas of a person’s life. The article is a theoretical analysis of the problem of domestic violence research. The paper presents a developed research design based on the concept of life patterns and two key components – existential guilt and lost Possible Selves. The paper concludes with empirical data from a pilot study as an illustration of the proposed design. The pilot study involved 20 participants; the criterion for selecting respondents was the fact of having experienced domestic violence by a sibling. The results were based on the selected methods: “Methodology for determining general and social self-efficacy”, “Diagnostics of interpersonal relations”, “Interpersonal relations questionnaire”, “Life orientations” questionnaire, as well as “Possible Self Diagnostic Methodology”. The data were processed using comparative, correlation, discriminant and regression analyses. The study showed high sensitivity to the developed research design and allowed to identify the group of respondents with experience of domestic violence through the specifics of their life patterns, which differ from the group of respondents without experience of violence. For example, respondents with experience of domestic violence have a greater need for emotional and psychological support from family, social groups and communities, compared to respondents without such experience, who tend to be independent.
