Gaponova S.A., Kornilova N.S. Assertive behavior of students of managerial profile // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 3 (49). P. 122-129

The article shows the need for the formation of assertive behavior of students in the direction of training “State and municipal management” in order to increase confidence, professionalism and competitiveness of the individual. Assertive behavior is considered by many authors to be direct, open behavior that is not intended to harm other people. Despite different approaches to its understanding and definition, researchers identify its key characteristics, such as self-confidence, achieving their goals, making independent decisions, respect for others and for themselves, independent behavior, openness in communication, respect for rights, equal open communication, etc. Based on the analysis of the results of the study obtained according to the methods: “Study of the level of assertiveness” by V. Kapponi, T. Novak, Questionnaire “Autonomy-dependence” G. S. Prygin, “Diagnosis of selfconfidence” B. D. Karvasarsky, it was concluded that during training at the university students do not acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities that contribute to the formation of a sufficiently high level of autonomy, confidence, and, ultimately, assertive behavior for the successful implementation of future professional activities. The negative dynamics of the studied indicators indicates the need to introduce into the learning process at the university a program aimed at the formation of assertive behavior, which will allow to refract the situation for the better and prepare state and municipal employees who are able to manage their emotional behavior, calmly and carefully make decisions, effectively interact with citizens and colleagues, achieve their goals, demonstrate confidence and independence of conduct.

Kuzevanova A.A. DEVELOPMENT OF AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR PREPARING A FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER TO WORK WITH CHILDREN WITH LIMITED HEALTH OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF A SMALL RURAL SCHOOL // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 2 (42). P. 48-55

The article substantiates the need to develop an educational program for preparing a future primary school teacher to work with children with disabilities in a small rural school, describes its structure and content. The author concludes that the preparation process must be built in terms of involving the participants in the educational process in joint activities, as well as using educational technologies that allow students to be subjects of their own education. The article emphasizes that in the context of this study, the term «education» is interpreted as the «involvement» of the subject of activity (student) in their development and education. When creating a program, the author notes that it is built on a modular basis and should be based on the concept of educational eventfulness, which considers pedagogical activity as a subject of personal attitude and action. Thus, the educational program in its content involves separate modules that are in a certain hierarchy: discovery, generation, creation of experience. The author comes to the conclusion that such a construction of the educational program will allow students to independently build the educational process, based on their own understanding of the meaning of professional activity in a small rural school with children with disabilities.

Medvedeva E.Y., Uromova S.E. The use of schemes in speech therapy work with younger bilingual schoolchildren // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 3 (49). P. 17-27

The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental study of the problem relevant for pedagogy and speech therapy. Its relevance is associated with an increase in the number of bilingual children who have problems in mastering the school curriculum. Theoretical analysis of the problem allowed us to state the contradiction between the need to overcome the difficulties of mastering the laws of the Russian language by bilingual children and the insufficient development of a systematic approach to understanding and studying the mechanisms of speech competence and the search for effective technologies to overcome it, taking into account its determining factors. The results of a comparative experimental study indicate difficulties in teaching students with bilingualism, the different nature of these difficulties and the need for special correctional assistance. Pedagogically organized inclusion of children of grades 3–4 with bilingualism in the system of speech therapy through a purposefully organized educational space of interacting subjects: speech therapist, teacher and parents is considered as a condition for overcoming learning difficulties. The features of the content of speech therapy work with bilinguals are considered from the standpoint of taking into account the similarities and differences of the two language systems in which the child exists and learns, understanding the mechanism of difficulties in mastering the language in which the training is conducted. For this purpose, the lessons include generalized schemes aimed at forming an associative connection of the transition from one language to another. The study implements a psycholinguistic approach to the study and implementation of speech pedagogical assistance to primary school children with bilingualism.

Gurtskoy D.A. Personal and emotional-volitional components as determinants of the decision-making process // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 2 (48). P. 113-121

Introduction. The relevance of the study of the peculiarities of decision-making and manifestation in this process of individual psychological features of personality is indicated. In the study of decisionmaking of specialists and managers, there were high scores on the scales of “Vigilance” and “Hupervigilance”, as well as the use of such a mechanism of psychological protection as “Intellectualization”, which indicates an increased awareness of the consequences in the choice of the decision, the tendency to apply productive behavioral strategies (constructive coping); in decision-making they rely on reason rather than intuitive thinking; when a problem situation arises, they seek certainty in position. In a separate group of specialists and managers, the traits of “over-vigilance” were identified that prevent the process of orientation in a problem situation, because of which the individual uses spontaneous and chaotic behavior and may make mistakes in choosing possible options for action. When studying the decision-making of performers, high scores were noted on the scales “Avoidance” and “Procrastination”, as well as the use of such a psychological defense mechanism as “Denial”, which indicates that when problem situations arise, they tend to use coping strategies, aimed at avoiding difficulties or “postponing” important matters for the following days, which is also expressed in the transfer of responsibility to other people and life circumstances, speaking of bad luck or prejudice on the part of the management team; insufficient assessment of the circumstances, avoidance of difficulties and responsibility, which is also confirmed by the results of the questionnaire aimed at making decisions. Features of decision-making are of interest for further study by modern psychological science, due to the fact that they manifest the individual psychological characteristics of a particular person and the effectiveness of its activities in the production process and other aspects of functioning, including human behavior in a stressful situation.

The purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of the volume as an integral characteristic of the memory of younger adolescents, taking into account gender. The subject of the study is the features of the development of the volume of various types of memory in boys and girls of younger adolescence. The article analyzes the theoretical provisions describing the specifics of the manifestation of memory processes in the scientific literature, describes the features of the volume of memory in boys and girls in early adolescence. Significant differences in the volume of visual mediated memory in a sample of boys and girls were determined. More pronounced indicators of the studied memory parameters in girls are described. Direct connections between the indicators of the volume of visual mediated and auditory long-term memory, as well as visual long-term and auditory mediated memory were revealed. Direct correlations were found between the indicators of the volume of auditory mediated, auditory long-term, auditory mediated memory. It is proved that the change in the volume indicator of a certain type of memory should be taken into account when predicting possible changes in the volume indicator of another type of memory. The relationships between the indicators of “the volume of auditory long-term memory” and “the volume of auditory short-term memory”, as well as between the indicators of “the volume of auditory long-term memory” and “the volume of auditory mediated memory” were determined on a sample of small children. Correlations between indicators of “auditory longterm memory volume” and “visual mediated memory volume”, as well as between indicators of “auditory long-term memory volume” and “auditory mediated memory volume” were determined on a sample of girls. The severity of the characteristics of memory types in groups of boys and girls with high and low levels of performance discipline is determined.

The article deals with topical issues of assessing the quality of training results of foreign students. The article presents the psychological and pedagogical prerequisites for the emergence of the competence-based approach in education. The article analyzes the legal framework for the introduction of a point-rating system of assessment in an educational organization. The relevance of the study is emphasized by the selected control group of foreign students, who are one of the markers of the effectiveness of an educational organization. The contradiction between the requirements of the competence approach in education and the capabilities of the system for assessing the quality of knowledge of foreign students is revealed: the traditional assessment system does not allow solving the problem of individualizing the learning process of foreign students. In this regard, the advantage of the national-oriented approach in the training of foreign students is noted. The article analyzes the mental and psychological-pedagogical features of teaching foreign students in a multinational training group. The advantage of the formative-evaluating function over the evaluation function in the methodological system of evaluating foreign students is revealed. The requirements for the levels of training of students in an educational organization in the context of the competence approach are given. The effectiveness of the national-oriented approach in assessing the learning outcomes of foreign students is confirmed by the results of the pedagogical experiment. In order to implement the formative-evaluating function of the point-rating system of assessment, the method of calculating the Grade Point Average was applied.

Shishlyannikova N.P. MUSIC OF RUSSIAN COMPOSERS IN EDUCATION OF TEENAGERS AS PATRIOTS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 6 (46). P. 114-121

The article observes the problem of patriotic education of teenagers in modern condition of information war, which is also aimed at the younger generation. It marks the destructive influence of consumer subculture, domination of pseudo-art over true art and culture, which leads to deformation of value understanding about truth, kindness and beauty, sense of patriotism and love for Motherland. The irreplaceable role of art in the patriotic education of modern teenagers is substantiated by nothing else, since the emotional and sensual component (love for the motherland and its people, pride in past victories in the struggle for independence, cultural achievements of our time and attachment to native places) is the main content of the concept of «patriotism» and works of art. Music, in contact with the subtlest movements of the human soul, is closer than other forms of art to the very essence of the sublime in nature, society, and the individual life of a person. Examples of the realization of the educational possibilities of works by domestic composers of a patriotic orientation (A. P. Borodin, D. D. Shostakovich, G. V. Sviridov) by students-musicians during pedagogical practice in a comprehensive school are given. The choice of creations reflects different periods of Russian history: from XII century till our days. Justification of the methodical approaches in solving the problems of patriotic education of teenagers on the examples of listening and performance of the music of the Russian composers is confirmed by the data of oral and written interviews of 7th grade students, which allow us to estimate a fairly high level of their patriotic education at this age stage of development.

The article deals with the question of demonstrating the features of the national identity of traditional ethnic groups under the influence of globalization and ethnic revival. Ethnic groups found themselves in the face of new challenges and a continuous process of clash of values, transformation of identity components due to the acuteness of the interaction of “their own” and “others” in the world of traditions and in the world of integration of cultures. The methodological basis for the analysis of national identity is the idea of the realities of the outside world as a condition for the development and existence of the individual, which was revealed in the scientific school of V. S. Mukhina “Phenomenology of the development and existence of personality”. We consider the coupling of the realities of the external world (the objective world, the natural world, the realities of figurative-sign systems and the realities of the socio-normative space) as a condition for the development and existence of a person, which determines national identity. The aim of the study was to determine the emotional and cognitive components of the national identity of small ethnic of Western Mongols: Myangat, Torgut, Khoton, Uriankhai and Olet. The respondents’ national identity is characterized by a high stereotyped awareness of “their own” and “others”, the predominance of the emotional evaluation factor, the high importance of the traditional attitude to the objective world, the natural world, the realities of figurative and symbolic systems and the realities of the socio-normative space.

The article is devoted to the study of the emotional state of specialists working in the region bordering the Northern Military District zone. The purpose of the study was to identify the characteristics of the emotional state, the degree of neuropsychic stress and mechanisms of coping behavior of employees of construction sector enterprises working in the region bordering the special military operation zone. The following methods were used: “Current state” (L. V. Kulikov), “Determination of neuropsychic stress” (T. Nemchin), “Methods of coping behavior” (R. Lazarus). The study involved 50 employees of the Regional state budgetary institution “Capital Construction Department of the Belgorod Region”, aged 22-45 years with work experience from 3 to 25 years, as well as 30 employees of a construction company from another region (Lipetsk Region). The work analyzes the connections and patterns of influence of coping behavior on the current emotional state and the degree of neuropsychic stress. It is concluded that construction sector specialists working in border areas are faced with factors that cause significant and moderate neuropsychic stress; the predominance of maladaptive strategies for coping with everyday stressful situations leads to an increase in the level of negative emotions. Since the current mental state, coping strategies and the level of neuropsychic stress are interconnected, forming adaptive coping strategies, it is possible to have a positive impact on the current mental state and the level of neuropsychic stress in specialists.

Pronina A.N., Faustova I.V. Influence of moral concepts of senior preschoolers on interpersonal relationships with peers // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 2 (48). P. 7-15

The article presents the actual problem of studying the moral ideas of older preschoolers and their impact on interpersonal relationships with peers. The authors consider the theoretical aspects of the concepts of “morality”, “moral ideas”, “interpersonal relations” based on scientific research on this issue. The need to study the influence of moral ideas of older preschoolers on interpersonal relationships with peers is due to the manifestation of instability, emotionality, dynamism, selectivity of relationships, the specifics of moral development in older preschool age. The experiment was aimed at establishing relationships between the level of formation of moral ideas and interpersonal relationships in 2 groups of older preschoolers. The main diagnostic methods were the conversation, the method of problem situations, as well as the method of mathematical statistics of the r-Spearman rank correlation coefficient. A high level of formation of moral ideas in the preschool subjects was established, as well as a low level of emotional involvement in the actions of a peer and a high level of prosocial actions addressed to a peer. The following types of positive correlation were revealed: between the moral ideas of older preschoolers and emotional involvement as an interest and various emotions in relation to the actions of a peer; between the moral ideas of older preschoolers and the nature of children’s participation in the actions of a peer; between the moral ideas of older preschoolers and the social actions of a child in relation to a peer partner; moral values of older preschoolers and emotional the states of children in relation to each other in joint play activities. It is concluded that the influence of moral ideas of older preschoolers on interpersonal relationships with peers may have practical significance in the development of programs for the moral and social development of preschool children.

Mititsina E.A. Psychological defense mechanisms of students when performing creative tasks // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 175-186

The study expands the understanding of the role of personal factors in the implementation of creative activity. The novelty of the work is due to the study of the psychological defense mechanisms and barriers to creative activity that arise in the process of students performing creative tasks. When diagnosing psychological defense mechanisms, an integrated approach was implemented that combines the use of a test and the author’s scale of standardized observation at the time of creative activity in a specially organized experimental situation. Then, by the methods of factorial and correlation analysis, the structure of interrelations of personality defense mechanisms, barriers in creative activity and creativity were proved. Students who are characterized by immature psychological defenses (projection and regression) more often note a large number of obstacles in their work. Alternative options for psychological defense during the performance of a creative task were identified, showing varying degrees of effectiveness: students prefer more adaptive mechanisms of compensation or substitution, or a less adaptive mechanism - negation. More mature defense mechanisms (compensation and intellectualization) are accompanied by a higher level of creative characteristics, while more primitive ones (negation and reaction) are accompanied by their decrease. The results obtained can be taken into account when developing technologies for developing the creative potential of students through conscious work with the psychological defense mechanisms and barriers to creative activity.

Goncharova T.A. Using memoirs in teaching Regional History at school // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 2 (54). P. 45-52

The problems of teaching regional history at school are actively discussed by the pedagogical and scientific community. The article focuses on the possibilities of using memoir texts of residents of the Tomsk region in teaching regional history. The general characteristics of the situation concerning the educational and methodological support of teaching regional history are presented. It is emphasized that a full study of regional history is impossible without referring to the level of the oblast, acting as a link with local history. Considering that there are currently no educational and methodological materials on the history of the Tomsk region, emphasis is placed on historical sources that can be included in the anthology or collection of documents that are an obligatory part of the educational and methodological complex. The collection “I am telling you, my dear ones, a true story” is being considered, in which the memoirs of residents of the Tomsk region are published. The characteristic of the narratives contained in it is given. The advantages of involving the collection into the educational process at school are revealed. The appeal to the collection will help the teacher to demonstrate one of the leading features of modern historical science – interest in the “little man”, which arose in connection with the development of microhistoric approaches in historical research, to show the potential and uniqueness of family archives. It will allow schoolchildren to more seriously comprehend the diversity of the historical and cultural heritage of the Tomsk region. The informative value of the memoirs presented in the collection will be useful in the study of the following sections on the history of Russia: “The Russian Empire in the XIX – early XX centuries” (themes “The Ethno-cultural image of the Empire”, “National-religious features”), “Soviet society in the 1920s-30s” (themes “The USSR in 1929–1941: “Stalinist Socialism”, “Cultural space”), “The Great Patriotic War. 1941–1945”, “The apogee and crisis of the Soviet system. 1945–1991” (theme “Late Stalinism” (1945–1953)).

Filippova S.A. Social portrait of the psychological well-being of student youth // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 4 (50). P. 170-178

The biopsychosocial model of mental health, mental disorders and psychological well-being is the modern model adopted by the psychological and medicine practice. Scientific theories concerning various aspects of human being consider the determinants of any process as the unity of biological and social. The purpose of the study is to form a social portrait of the psychological well-being of students in the Tula region. The SCL-90 test scales were used as parameters for assessing psychological well-being; as parameters characterizing the social portrait - social status (a student from a large family, an incomplete or low-income family, a student with a disability or chronic disease, a student with family and children, a student left without parental care). The study involved 1363 students of universities in the Tula region aged 17-24 years, of which 1068 female, 295 male. Monitoring was carried out during the fall of 2022. Conclusions: the presence of social status does not imply, but does not exclude low indicators of psychological well-being. Differences in the psychological well-being of students depending on the social status were revealed. Students from large families are twice as likely to demonstrate a low level of psychological well-being than a high one; students from single-parent families are three times more likely to demonstrate a low level of psychological well-being than a high one; students with disabilities or chronic diseases are significantly more likely to demonstrate a low level of psychological well-being than a high level; orphan students are twice as likely to demonstrate a low level of psychological well-being than a high one; students from low-income backgrounds are three times more likely to have a low level of psychological well-being than a high level. The results obtained indicate the expediency of social and psychological support for students of these social groups, and, first of all, students with chronic diseases or disabilities.

Alekseeva O.V., Aleksandrova N.V., Skvortsova T.P. Educational opportunities of virtual educational laboratories: analysis of current practice // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 6 (52). P. 134-142

Digitalization of education allows accumulating new experience, improving the methodological support of the educational process and forming the methodological basis of digital didactics. The inclusion of virtual educational laboratories in the educational process is dictated by the peculiarities of the digital educational environment, but it faces some problems: insufficient security of the virtual educational environment due to the lack of technical regulations, lack of a unified methodological approach, imperfection of the regulatory framework. The authors of the study make an attempt to generalize and systematize the experience of introducing virtual educational laboratories into the school system. Approaches to the definition of the concept of “virtual laboratory” as a means and method of scientific knowledge, the main feature of which is the safety of interactive creative experimental activity, are analyzed. A classification of virtual laboratories according to multidimensionality, imitation, form of information presentation, freedom of cognitive creativity, modality of perception is proposed. The requirements for the visualization of objects in virtual educational laboratories are outlined, taking into account the leading (visual) channel of perception of modern schoolchildren. The educational opportunities and some risks of including the tactile channel of children’s perception when learning in virtual educational laboratories are considered. The types of processes that can be simulated in virtual laboratories are considered. A study was made of the effectiveness of identifying graphic objects of varying complexity by primary school students. On the basis of the data obtained, the principles of organizing training in virtual educational laboratories have been developed: the principle of imitation of reality, the principle of scientific character / reliability of data, the principle of a responsible attitude (ethics of training in virtual educational laboratories).

Mun’ D.S. THE ROLE OF INDEPENDENCE IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF CADETS AND GRADUATES OF THE MILITARY INSTITUTIONS OF THE NATIONAL GUARD FORCES OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 5 (39). P. 156-165

The purpose of the article is to determine the role of independence in the military service of officers and its influence on the successful fulfillment of service and combat missions. The article examines the structure of human activity, as well as the place of elements of independence in it. Based on the study of scientific literature, the main structural elements of the concept of “independence” are determined, which allows interpreting the results of the analysis of responses to graduates of military universities of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation. The identified shortcomings in the training of military specialists allow us to conclude that there is insufficient development of independence in their service activities. As a result, the recorded level of development of independence prevents the manifestation of non-standard, unconventional thinking, and also significantly inhibits the self-development of an officer as a person and as a specialist. Particular attention is paid to the formation of practical skills of cadets of military universities, the correspondence of the solution of practical problems in the classroom to the real requests of the command of various levels. The article discusses the possible reasons for the formation of practical skills of graduates at a level below the expected level and the problem of adaptation of junior officers to new challenges. Also, in the course of the study, the main ways of solving the problem of obsolescence of the “life” situations offered during practical exercises were determined. It is important to note that the level of professional competence of graduates of military universities of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation is closely interconnected with the practice of their application. The article notes that the activities of a cadet and an officer are similar in structure, which allows us to offer more effective ways of shaping their behavior in non-standard / critical situations.

Kashapov M.M. Resource opportunities for professionalization of pedagogical thinking // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 137-145

The article presents an overview and analytical consideration of the professionalization of pedagogical thinking as a long process of mastering the chosen profession, arising in the pre-university period and continuing at the university and postgraduate stages of training and advanced training. It is proved that the professionalization of the teacher’s thinking is accompanied by the development of his personality through the actualization and implementation of the supra-situational level of problem detection in the professional activity performed. Resource opportunities are characterized by personal orientation of thinking as the basis of creative self-realization of the teacher. This orientation is characterized by the establishment of supra-situational problemativeness, which allows the teacher to include not only situational, but also personal characteristics in the analysis of a pedagogical problem situation. Awareness of one’s own personal characteristics, which are important for the optimal resolution of the professional difficulty that has arisen, is the spiritual support of the teacher. Personal neoplasms arise when the teacher realizes what personal qualities are not enough to achieve the intended goal in the process of coping with the difficulties that have arisen. It is proved that habilitation is characterized by the development of potential intellectual capabilities that determine the stability and productivity of the teaching staff. Amplification as a method of semantic expansion of the semantic field in cognition and transformation of a difficult situation contributes to an adequate understanding of what is happening and provides an expansion of the valuesemantic orientation of the zone of development of one’s own capabilities.

Akimish D.E., Brel E.Y. Environmental volunteer activity in universities of Kazakhstan (on the example of L. Gumilev Eurasian National University) // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 5 (57). P. 167-176

One of the necessary conditions and prerequisites for the development of modern youth is socionatural interaction in the system “man – society – nature”, which includes a change in the image of nature that has developed in society and the construction of a new paradigm in which the regulator of relations between man and nature is ecological volunteer activity. While examining psychological and pedagogical literature on environmental volunteering, the authors discuss the origins of the term “volunteering” and its key characteristics. The authors conducted a comparative analysis of the concepts of “volunteer”, “volunteering”, “volunteer activity”, “environmental volunteering” based on Kazakhstan, Russian and foreign theoretical experience. After reviewing the literature, it was found that “volunteering” and “volunteerism” are essentially the same, so the authors of this study choose to use the term “volunteering” because it is more widely recognized internationally. By examining different perspectives on volunteering, the study was able to define and emphasize the main qualities of a volunteer as someone who participates in volunteer activities. Environmental volunteering is considered by the authors in the same way as a method of educational work with students of a higher educational institution, during the development of which social activity is formed, such qualities as justice, tolerance, kindness, friendliness and diligence are brought up. In turn, cultural and moral education develops, a certain civic position, working capacity, etc. Thus, in this paper, the essential foundations of environmental volunteering, as well as the signs of eco-volunteering as certain integral characteristics of it, which, according to the authors, are fundamental, are highlighted.
