Sazonova N.I., Nesterenko P.L., Raykova O.A. DISTANCE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TRAINING OF A TEACHER OF HISTORY AND SOCIETY: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE TOMSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 4 (38). P. 188-198

The actualization of reflection on the experience of using distance technologies in teacher training is associated both with the general interest in such technologies in pedagogical science in recent years, and with the need to comprehend the methodological developments that have appeared in the context of a pandemic and the temporary transition to fully distance learning. The object of the analysis, based on the experience of Tomsk State Pedagogical University, is the options for using various forms and methods of remote work with future teachers. The material for the analysis is the experience of teachers and students in BigBlueButton and Moodle systems, obtained during 2020. The positive results of the use of distance educational technologies were revealed: an increase in the level of training of a future teacher in the field of information technology, an intensification of the work of students in connection with a change in the forms of control, the development of new forms and methods of work with historical sources and literature by new students. It is shown that distance learning can be carried out without reducing the quality of subject training. At the same time, distance educational technologies have significant drawbacks that relate to the problems of communication between the teacher and the audience. At this stage, they do not allow the future teacher to fully develop the skills of public speaking, working with a large audience. The solution to this problem may be the subject of further discussion. The materials of the article can be used in the educational process of higher educational institutions.

Shcherbatykh A.A. MEDIATION AND INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 3 (43). P. 101-112

The term “mediation” has been introduced into the methodological literature on teaching foreign languages in 2001. But despite this, teachers need to improve qualifications in the understanding of this term, as in the native methodology there is a problem of lack of research in the field of mediation, especially in the field of learning a foreign language. Modern society attaches great importance to communicative connections and relationships. Society needs a person who has flexible thinking, the ability to express his thoughts correctly and easily interact with others. Forming these skills at the same time promotes to grow an all-round personality who will be able to be a mediator in communication with another culture. The purpose of the research will be to analyze the results of the teacher’s questionnaires for their ideas about the need to form mediation and intercultural skills, determine the level of their formation and assessment. Test were developed and implemented to determine the initial level and final results of intercultural and mediation skills for students. They were based on the proposed recommendations for the lessons. According to the results of testing, it can be noted that during the initial testing, students have a low level of mediation and intercultural skills formation. But with using recommendations in the lesson, the level improves. The results of the research and author’s developments show the importance of the mediation and intercultural competencies formation and may be interesting to English teachers working in the secondary school.

Lebedeva K.S., Rybina O.E. THE PROBLEM OF USING HEALTH-SAVING TECHNOLOGIES IN A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 5 (45). P. 120-127

The article deals with the problem of using health-saving technologies in a pedagogical university. The relevance of this issue is due to the deterioration of the external social and natural environment and an increase in violations in the physical and mental health of modern people. The problem of health saving is especially acute in relation to children and students, as well as specialists in “interacting” professions, which include teachers and lecturers. Hence, it is important to pay attention to the professional training of future teachers at the university, which should include not only knowledge about health and health care, but also the development of health-preserving technologies. The purpose of the article is to consider the problem of including health-saving technologies in the process of professional training of students at a pedagogical university for use in classes and the formation of practical experience of future teachers. To study the problematic field of the research topic on the basis of the Altai State Pedagogical University, a questionnaire was conducted among students of 4–5 courses, which emphasized the need not only to study healthy technologies within the framework of the disciplines of the psychological and pedagogical cycle, but also their practical use in classes. As examples of the use of such technologies in working with students, physical activity break and various auto-training options have been proposed. Physical activity breaks allow you to organize a practically oriented recreation in the classroom, since future teachers not only participate in the exercise, but also analyze their implementation, include them in their methodological bank. Autotraining contributes to the solution of a number of psychological problems, and also helps to develop the professional qualities necessary for a teacher: the ability to tune in to a lesson, relax, overcome negative external influences, mastery of voice and emotions.

Galkina T.V., Rodikov G.A., Romanchev D.A. Organization of work with archival sources under the project “Defense products of Tomsk plant NO. 631 “Sibkabel” during the Great Patriotic War” // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 1 (47). P. 54-61

This article is a continuation of a series of publications on the implementation of the All-Russian patriotic project «Victory Map - 2025», dedicated to the contribution of the rear territories to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. A feature of the project is the focus on organizing the work of young people in the state archives of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Working out the phased structure of modeling the project process from acquaintance with the available historical and memoir literature through the study of archival sources and the presentation of socially significant results, we offer this article as a recommendation for organizing work with one of the most important sources of reliable information - archival documents. The chosen subject of scientific research involves the use of various archival funds in archives of various profiles, for example, in Tomsk - this is the State Archive of the Tomsk Region, which stores documents on the activities of enterprises, institutions and organizations of all branches of the region, as well as the Center for Documentation of the Contemporary History of the Tomsk Region, which stores documents of primary, urban, regional party organizations (VKP(b), CPSU). The study of totality of documents from these archives allows you to get acquainted with both internal production and social problems of enterprise, and with party politics during the war years. The specificity of working with archival documents is aimed at the correct selection of files when working with inventories of funds, a scrupulous study of textual information in the files themselves in order to select reliable factual material in documents of various kinds. On the example of the topic “Defense products of Tomsk plant No. 631 “Sibkabel”, the work on sampling typical material in different funds of the mentioned Tomsk archives is traced, work with digital information in tabular and descriptive versions is shown, methods for comparing and collating quantitative data by years are given, the dynamics of production growth is traced, a range of cable products was identified: if in 1942 field telephone wires were the predominant type of product, in 1943 - sapper wires, in 1944 - winding copper and enamel wire, in 1945 - transition to civilian products. At the same time, the found archival material made it possible to specify the range of types of products manufactured by Tomsk plant «Sibkabel» and the introduce these data into scientific circulation.

Ovchinnikova Y.V., Gychev A.V. STRUCTURE OF VALUES AND PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFENSE MECHANISMS AMONG UNEMPLOYED BURYATS // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 6 (28). P. 227-233

The relevance of the study determined by the need to study the adaptive capabilities of a person in coping with the situation of forced unemployment, which poses a threat to the psychological health of the individual and reduces the quality of life. The study tested the hypothesis of ethnospecificity of the realization of values and psychological defense mechanisms in a situation of forced unemployment in Buryatia on a multi-ethnic sample (Russians, Buryats). The absence of ethnic differences in the priorities of the values of a “happy family life” and “financially secure life” shown. Buryats also note the importance of such values as “health (physical and mental)”. The least accessible value for Russians and Buryats is “interesting work”, while the Buryats also have “financially secure life (absence of material difficulties)” which most fully reflects the situation of unemployment. All the unemployed expressed such psychological defense mechanisms as “reactive education” and “denial”. In the Russian group, it is also possible to distinguish such mechanisms as “substitution”, “regression” and “compensation”. There were no significant ethnic differences in the severity of psychological defenses in the groups, but by comparing the mean values, higher tensions in the Russian group noted. The ethnospecific interrelations between the structure of values and psychological defenses were shown.

Reviakina V.I. HISTORICAL INTERRELATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF THE STATE AND REAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS ON THE EXAMPLE OF PEDAGOGICAL CLASSES // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 3 (43). P. 133-141

This article analyzes the genesis and progressive development of the phenomenon of pedagogical classes in the Russian state as one of the possible ways to train teachers. It is noted that the status position of pedagogical classes has always directly depended on the historical and political stages of the state structure of the country, on socio-ideological, financial, economic and regional conditions. It turns out that the gender and professional purpose of graduates of the additional eighth pedagogical classes of the pre-revolutionary women`s gymnasium, depends on the status of the family. Alternative options and forms of teacher training without university education in the Soviet period 1920–1970 are shown. In conditions of shortage of qualified specialists with university education, the country was forced to proclaim the goal of accelerated training of teachers of intermediate qualifications instead of workers who do not have any pedagogical training at all. The purpose of the activity of two-year pedagogical classes of the 1990-2000 model is emphasized as the preparation of elite applicants for pedagogical universities. It is noted as historical regularity: the activity of pedagogical classes at each socio-political stage is determined by the public demands of the chronological period under consideration. Various forms of career guidance with senior grade students and their effective influence of the late twenties century are revealed.

Pozdeeva S.I., Drozdetskaya I.A. The concept of a prosperous and safe childhood: the essence, problems, recommendations for parents // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 4 (50). P. 80-86

A comparative analysis of two methodological approaches to understanding childhood is made: childhood as a preparation for adulthood and childhood as a unique and self-valuable stage in a person’s life. The root causes of the appearance of each of the approaches are highlighted, it is proved that the implementation of the first approach leads to total authoritarianism in the interaction of adults and children. The necessity of the second approach as a theoretical basis for a prosperous and safe childhood, which can be interpreted as a subjective and “involved childhood”, is substantiated. The main task of an adult is to involve a child in different types of activity and create the most saturated educational environment for his development. The problem of the correlation of independence and activity of the child with the need of an adult to protect guard against any danger is set. Methodological recommendations for parents of preschoolers and primary school children are formulated. These recommendations relate to aspects of conscious and responsible choice, the organization of independent actions of children, including when doing homework on a textbook, the implementation of dosed assistance and effective feedback from parents to children. The conclusion is made about the need to move from pedagogy stimulating to adulthood development to pedagogy that simultaneously enriches the development of the child and preserves the specifics of childhood, from total authoritarianism to the reversed and open joint action of an adult and a child both in the family and in an educational organization.

Sorokoumova G.V., Potapova T.K. EDUCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL PRACTICES OF JUNIOR STUDENTS AS AN EFFECTIVE METHOD OF FORMING THE PROJECT COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 6 (46). P. 9-17

The article considers project competence as a component of educational competence and a necessary component of professional competence of a teacher. Based on the theoretical analysis, the definition of the project competence and the project competence of the teacher, the stages of the formation of the project competence of students – future teachers in the educational space of the university is proposed. The content of educational (introductory), educational (design-technological) and production (design-technological) summer practices of students is described. A study is described to assess the effectiveness of practices of 1-2 courses and their impact on the formation of students’ project competence. The main method of research we chose an expert assessment of the main components of students’ project competence: the ability to design activities (analyze information, formulate a problem, set a goal for project activities, plan activities and design the final product); the ability to organize project activities (implement project activities, monitor and adjust project activities, evaluate the result); the ability to communicate effectively (organize and plan educational collaboration) and creativity. Analysis of the results of the study showed that without specially organized purposeful work (students of the control (KG) group) project competence is not formed, and students of the experimental (EG) group there have been significant changes in all components of project competence under the influence of the educational and production practices implemented by us. Conclusion. Educational (introductory), educational (design and technological) and production (design and technological) practices are an effective method of forming the project competence of future teachers and thereby affect the development of educational and professional, in general, the competence of future teachers.

An analysis of approaches, technologies, models developed over the past three years related to the assessment of professionalism and the level of competencies of teachers is presented. The attention is focused on research and development, which is based on working with big data, the use of technical means to automate the assessment process. An approach to assessing the professional competencies of teachers based on the analysis of the results of their students is formulated. Within the framework of this paper, the 3rd stage of the technology for assessing professionalism and competence level of general education teachers has been improved, tested and described. Using the data of the learning results of Tomsk region secondary students in the national Unified State Exam (USE), 3 (three) clustering algorithms were applied by technology: k-means, spectral clustering, agglomerative clustering. The learning results under study were on 4 (four) subjects: Russian, Mathematics (profile level), Physics, and Social Studies for the period from 2015 to 2019. The above data were divided into 2 (two) arrays: Science and Humanities, and clustering algorithms mentioned were applied to them. The validity of the clusters was assessed by the method of Silhouette coefficient and Kalinsky-Harabasz index. Some measured parameters of the algorithms and the expediency of their use within the framework of the task were evaluated.

Ryadinskaya E.N., Volobuev V.V., Bogrova K.B. Leveling the negative manifestations of narcissism in students by the method of jungian sand therapy // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 1 (53). P. 141-148

In recent decades, there has been an increase in the destructive influence of narcissistic patterns on the life of modern society. Such phenomena as selfishness, pride, and skepticism are promoted in social networks and advertising and offer a new model of behavior. More and more people are striving to improve various aspects of their lives – from their own body to family and business. However, the desire for excellence and success can lead to bitter disappointment and dissatisfaction. This article is devoted to the issue of leveling the negative manifestations of narcissism by the method of Jungian sand therapy, since in practice there is a lack of methodological developments to help people with narcissistic manifestations that have not reached the clinical level. The purpose of the study: to test a training program for leveling the negative manifestations of narcissism among students using the Jungian sand therapy. The training program developed by us is dedicated to the transformation of narcissism based on sand therapy and is a synthesis of Carl Jung’s ideas and personal experience of using art therapy. Such work is based on the creation of artistic images from various materials: stones, sand, water, etc. The technology for implementing the training program included the following forms of work: psychodiagnostics, mini-lecture, express survey, workshop, amplification, individual counseling, group training. Analysis of the results of the study confirms a positive trend in the transformation of narcissistic manifestations and can be recommended for use in psychological practice to help people with manifestations of narcissism.

Nikienko I.V. Ethical foundations, social modeling potential and creative aspects of literary game for younger schoolchildren “Cities on the Asphalt...” // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 2 (48). P. 24-36

The article outlines the methodical concept, views the procedure of organization and holding and evaluates pedagogical capabilities and current results of the All-Russian literary game contest “Cities on the Asphalt...”, which is based on the short story of the same name by Tomsk fantasy and science fiction writer Viktor Kolupaev and has been held under the foundation of the Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after A. S. Pushkin since 2015 to the present. The author analyzes the game content produced in seven seasons (names, drawings and descriptions of “cities for alien”, lists of game roles, features of project presentation), traces the ethical, socially-oriented and creative component of the contestants’ activities, identifies the principles of interaction between sources of game design (the text of the reference short story, “fantasy and science fiction standard”, a variety of background knowledge, including specific ones related to ethno-confessional traditions and local history information), characterizes the measures to optimize the pedagogical effects of the game. The study showed that the emotional acceptance of the ethical message of the reference short story, which determines the general orientation of the game activity, is in most cases unconditional, while the social attitudes and creative self-expression of the players may require pedagogical regulation.

Baykhanov I.B. Conception of the formation of the electoral culture of the teacher // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 2 (48). P. 86-97

The work is devoted to the consideration of the conceptual foundations of the formation of the electoral culture of the teacher. The relevance of the work is due to the need to increase the electoral activity of citizens and increase motivation to participate in the electoral process. The author of the work offers a new perspective on participation in the electoral process through the prism of electoral culture. Electoral culture is considered as a part of the general culture. Electoral culture should be formed as early as possible. Not only the family, but also educational institutions should participate in this process. The author believes that the teacher has the greatest potential in the formation of electoral culture. In this regard, it is necessary to form an electoral culture among teachers and further form their understanding of the technologies of broadcasting electoral culture. The author proves that electoral culture can be formed only in a special cross-multilevel educational environment that creates conditions for this. The conceptual foundations of the formation of electoral culture are represented by the main provisions, conceptual and categorical apparatus, methodological foundations, theoretical foundations, semantic center of the concept, content and semantic content, pedagogical conditions and approbation of the concept. The paper presents an algorithm for the implementation of the concept, which allows to trace the logic of movement from theoretical positions to practical implementation. The objectives of the concept, defining its content, as well as the legal and regulatory framework that underlies the development of the concept are presented in detail. Special attention is paid to the pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the concept and the theoretical foundations. The limits of the concept application are characterized. As a theoretical and methodological basis of the concept, we propose a four-level hierarchical structure of methodological foundations, including approaches at various levels. The practical result of the implementation of the concept is a program of additional education for teachers, focused on the formation of electoral culture.

Medvedeva L.D. COMPLEMENTARITY AS A FACTOR OF INTEGRATION IN AN EDUCATIONAL CLUSTER (ON THE EXAMPLE OF ECONOMIC EDUCATION) // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 49-54

The national development strategy sets an important task for vocational education – to prepare personnel for the renewal of the economy and ensuring its competitiveness in the world market. The experience of professional education shows that the educational process, consistently carried out in the academic environment, and then in the field of professional activity in the conditions of high dynamics of information processes, leads to a rapid obsolescence of knowledge. The competence orientation defined by the new educational standard has a truncated character when it comes to innovative products, the creation of which requires the involvement of the subject in the innovation process. The model of an educational cluster based on the integration of heterogeneous social spheres – education and professional activity, in the integrity of which the training of specialists is carried out, is updated. The article examines the basis of the integration form of an educational cluster – the complementarity of the subjects of heterogeneous social spheres, who, as members of the cluster, can attract additional resources to their professional activities. The conclusions can be used in making decisions of regional entities about joining the educational cluster to create the advantages of their own business.

Sheynov V.P., Devitsin A.S. Short version of the self-control in communication questionnaire: reliability, validity, factor structure // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 3 (55). P. 124-135

The study of self-control in communication is relevant due to the negative impact of excessive use of smartphones and social networks on “live” communication. At the same time, research actively uses the “Self-Control in Communication Scale” created 40 years ago by M. Snyder. With regard to longdeveloped methods, there is a belief that they need to be re-tested, since the answers of respondents today may differ significantly from the answers of their long-standing predecessors, on whose answers these questionnaires were created many years ago. The goal of reducing questionnaires is also relevant, since large questionnaires cause difficulties in collecting materials and worse quality of the responses received. The objectives of this study are: 1) to develop a reliable and valid shortened version of the Self-Control in Communication Questionnaire; 2) construction of a factor model of self-control in communication. Baseline data for the study were collected through an online survey of 1,911 respondents. As a result of the study, a short version of the social self-control questionnaire consisting of 8 questions was constructed. The short version of the questionnaire satisfies the basic criteria of validity and reliability and has better psychometric properties than its original version. A consistent two-factor model of self-control in communication has been constructed.

Meng L., Wang X., Kuryanovich A.V. Language teaching for the specialty “Jurisprudence” in the aspect of Russian as a foreign language: on the issue of generalizing experience in modern linguodidactics // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 5 (57). P. 92-100

A summary of the existing experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language for foreign students studying in the “Jurisprudence” profile is presented. It is emphasized that the study of the communicative behavior of a linguistic personality in the professional field, especially in the legal field, requires taking into account linguistic and cultural factors in their totality. Legal terminology reflects national legal traditions, the historical development of society, its legal principles and ideology. The complexity of professional interaction in the legal field is due to differences in the logic of codified law and ordinary moral and legal beliefs that each person possesses. In addition, each national legal system has its own unique logic, despite the presence of certain universal features. The training of specialists in the subject area of “Jurisprudence” within the framework of multicultural education is characterized by the need to overcome a number of difficulties. Among the problems is the need to develop adequate forms, methods and means of teaching that allow effective interpretation of legal texts that are complex in their syntactic organization and content. Special attention should be paid to working with Russian legal terminology. The main methods and approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language are covered in the aspect of considering it as a language of specialty, as well as the application of these methods in the context of teaching legal terminology and specific language structures to foreign students - future lawyers. The issue of developing communication skills necessary for successful communication in the legal field is explored.

Nelyubin N.I. Transspective analysis as a method of historical and psychological research // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 3 (49). P. 140-149

In modern historical and psychological research carried out in line with post-non-classical methodology, there is a need to move cognitive landmarks: from directions, schools, research programs, concepts of a certain historical period in the development of psychological science to the ways of thinking implemented in them and types of rationality; from a monological, retrospective description of the processes of formation and transformation of the conceptual apparatus of a particular psychological school to a reflexive-dialogical reconstruction of the conceptual heritage of eternally relevant scientists, in the light of today and tomorrow in the development of psychology; from the usual thematic headings and sections of psychological knowledge to the areas of “overlapping” (metaphor V. E. Klochko) of different types of scientific rationality, within the moving boundaries of which the processes of “rebirth of the scientific fabric” (metaphor L. S. Vygotsky) of psychology were most actively and fruitfully going; from well-known and recognized theories to concepts that were previously recognized as peripheral or even marginal, but containing underestimated heuristic potential; from the traditions of adaptation in psychology of natural-science explanatory schemes to the assimilation by scientists-psychologists of the philosophical and ideological heritage and the descriptive potential of literature and art. In order to compare the traditional and post-non-classical views on historical and psychological research, the author proposes the metaphors of “restoration” and “renaissance”, which illustrate different approaches to the reconstruction of historical forms of scientific thought: the preservation of the conceptual “monuments” of psychological science and the meaningful reconstruction of the conceptual heritage of psychology with a constructive revision its heuristic potential. The effectiveness of the application of transspective analysis (developed by V. E. Klochko) in historical and psychological research is substantiated, since it allows: to overcome the rigid conceptual boundaries of conditionally closed scientific systems and schools; to understand the natural tendencies of the complication of psychological knowledge, taking into account the tendencies of changing the types of scientific rationality; to model the possible communication of such psychological concepts, between which there are significant temporal or paradigmatic distances; to simulate an incessant dialogue and confrontation of scientists whose scientific views were conceptually consonant, despite the fact that they were not contemporaries or, being contemporaries, for various reasons, were not clear representatives of one opponent circle.

Galkina T.V. “REAR TOMSK ON THE VICTORY MAP” WITH QR CODES AS A NEW PATRIOTIC PROJECT OF TOMSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 6 (40). P. 45-52

The article is devoted to the first results of the implementation of the All-Russian Patriotic Mega-Project “Victory Map – 2025” in relation to the city of Tomsk and the Tomsk region on the example of the local patriotic project “Rear Tomsk on the Victory Map”. One of the goals of the project was to identify unaccounted losses of the civilian population of the Tomsk region during the Great Patriotic War. The article for the first time introduces into scientific circulation archival information of the Department of Civil Registration of the Tomsk region on the number of death records registered by the territorial departments of the registry office for the period from 1940 to 1945. At the same time, the number of human losses was so mon strous that it is comparable to the military losses of the Tomsk region during the Great Patriotic War: military losses – 60,619 people, rear losses – 59159 people. In the light of these data, it seems necessary to further study the phenomenon of “rear as a socially responsible territory”. The obtained figures open a new layer of historical realities of wartime in the deep Siberian rear, which was one of the bridgeheads of an invisible, but no less terrible war with huge human losses among the civilian population. The article presents organizational and pedagogical technologies for the implementation of the project “Rear Tomsk on the Victory Map”, containing research (historical) and presentation (using augmented reality technology – QR-coding) parts. The multifaceted and complexity of the implementation of the patriotic project on logistics issues is an indispensable “testing ground” for consolidating the professional competencies of the future patriotic teacher.

Avchinnikova S.O. Creative techniques as a development resource of social and pedagogical practice // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 1 (47). P. 87-94

The author states the problem of mass social pedagogical practice improving through the development of ideas and techniques of creative pedagogy. Against the background of the growing need for qualified social and pedagogical assistance and the expansion of the school social work problems, there is a lack of creative technologies in the arsenal of school social workers, and conversely their high effectiveness in specialized services with different contingents of minors. In the theoretical aspect, we give the definition of creative technologies, reveal their functions in solving social and pedagogical problems (developing, communicative, compensatory, rehabilitation, hedonistic, recreational). There is an interpretation of the creativity phenomenon as the goal and means of socio-pedagogical activity. The author gives the typology of creative socio-pedagogical technologies: audio-visual, musical-dramatic, visual, training, game, socio-cultural design. There is an indication on the expediency of including creative modules in the training program for bachelors of psychological and pedagogical direction. We are emphasizing foreign and Russian experience in the instrumental training of social workers based on art-pedagogical and art-therapeutic techniques. In practical terms, author analyzes her own experience in teaching the discipline “Creative techniques in work with minors”. There is an example of the creative product developed by students - an integrative artistic and creative methodology “Family Theater” for work with the minor’s family. Thus, we’ve made a conclusion about the need of mastering the creative tools and ideas of creative pedagogy for further technologization and humanization of social and pedagogical activities.

Gnatyshina E.V., Vasilenko E.A. Emotional literacy and methods of its formation in adolescents and youth // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 3 (49). P. 28-34

The article is devoted to the problems of developing emotional literacy as the ability to understand one’s own emotions and the emotions of other people, the ability to adequately express them, as well as readiness, on this basis, for emotional interaction. The article substantiates the idea that emotional literacy is the cognitive basis of emotional intelligence. The authors discuss the possibilities of forming emotional literacy in adolescents and developing emotional intelligence on this basis. Emotional literacy can be considered as a set of knowledge and skills that can be formed with the help of specific educational programs. The main form of teaching emotional literacy is usually considered training. It is characterized by a combination of effective feedback and group support. The article presents the author’s view of the tasks of work on the formation of emotional literacy in adolescents, analyzes various forms of implementation of this activity (training, conversations, discussion clubs, art studios, etc.). The authors substantiate the idea that the tasks of developing emotional literacy can and should be solved not only in extracurricular activities, but also in the educational process. The teacher can use the emotionally stressful situations that have arisen, the difficulties of self-regulation in children as a subject for conversation and teaching emotional literacy. Teaching humanities subjects, especially literature, history, and world art culture, should be based on a combination of emotional and rational in the knowledge of human behavior and emotions.

At present, the competence-based approach is dominant in education, since it presupposes, first of all, not the self-valuable assimilation of knowledge by students, but the opportunity to use this knowledge in the learning process to solve urgent problems. The most important feature of modern education is its universality. There are universal competences in all modules of the educational program and in various activities. This work is devoted to the formation of universal competencies in the course “Theoretical Physics. Module: Classical Mechanics” for undergraduate students on the example of a section related to finding the law of body motion. The emphasis is on the approach to solving Hamilton’s equations as a system of first-order differential equations. The module “Classical Mechanics” is the initial stage of the study of theoretical physics. This section discusses various approaches to the study of the dynamics of mechanical systems, such as Newtonian mechanics, Lagrangian mechanics, and Hamilton’s canonical formalism. These approaches are equivalent, but Hamilton’s formalism has several advantages. The topic of the work is relevant for students of pedagogical universities, whose professional tasks involve the ability to search, critical analysis and synthesis of information, apply a systematic approach to solving the assigned tasks (Universal Competencies-1), generalize theoretical material and apply it to specific tasks with specific methodological goals. The purpose of the development is to help students see the similar and different points in problem solving, considering the proposed problems from a unified position. The methodological task is to form the competencies of the UC-1 group when solving the proposed tasks.

Kudinova O.A. Development of a questionnaire on implicit theories of education // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 1 (53). P. 99-106

The results of the development and psychometric testing of the questionnaire of implicit theories of education are presented. Implicit theories are considered by many researchers as the fundamental basis for organizing the knowledge of the world by the subject and systematizing individual experience. Their study allows us to determine the system of the subject’s relationship to reality, his ideas about it and behavioral models determined by the content of these theories. Implicit theories have a different subject orientation, being included in various aspects of an individual’s life. Specific activity contributes to the formation of characteristic implicit theories. In this sense, implicit learning theories are part of the educator’s mindset. Based on the theory and practical material of studies of implicit theories of various nature, the questionnaire of implicit theories of education reveals new opportunities for the development of the concept of implicit theories in the field of educational psychology and pedagogy. Within the framework of the study, the implicit theories of education that function in the minds of students of a pedagogical profile of training are described. At the analysis stage, four pedagogical concepts were identified, which formed the basis for the development of the questionnaire. These concepts represent the historically established principles of education, dragged into real pedagogical practice. The development of the questionnaire confirmed the validity of the four-factor model for describing implicit theories of education, which substantially corresponds to the selected educational concepts. Additional methods for measuring validity showed results consistent with the data of the developed questionnaire. It is shown that students of pedagogical training profiles have specific and differentiated ideas about the educational process. The prospects for further use of the developed questionnaire are presented.

Zubkov A.D. Individualization of foreign language training of university students using digital educational technologies // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 4 (56). P. 41-49

This study develops an integrative framework to advance individualized foreign language instruction through incorporation of digital technologies. As online platforms and adaptive learning systems proliferate, new opportunities emerge to tailor teaching to individual learner needs. However, prior research reveals gaps in existing assessment capabilities, and grounding in language acquisition theory. Many tools target only limited skills in isolation. An original conceptual model is proposed to address these limitations synthesizing adaptive sequencing, multidimensional evaluation, instructor guidance, and established pedagogical principles into a comprehensive system. A literature review analyzes prior empirical findings, frameworks, and best practices. The proposed model incorporates these insights around key elements: 1) adaptive learning platforms that adjust content based on ongoing diagnostics; 2) multifaceted assessment of linguistic and communicative competencies; 3) instructor access to analytics dashboards and customization tools; 4) overarching language acquisition theory and goals. This creates a cycle of personalized instruction, human-AI collaboration, and continuous improvement. Significance includes providing researchers an integrative framework to guide future innovation and empirical testing. For practitioners, it offers a roadmap to harness technologies for more effective language education accessible to all learners. Recommendations are presented for interdisciplinary research and purposeful implementation. This pioneering model establishes theoretical foundations for the next generation of equitable, empowering personalized language learning systems.

Kulikov S.B. Features of the implementation of distance education at universities in China // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 4 (50). P. 96-103

The article reveals the natural features of the implementation of distance learning in modern China. It shows the contribution to the development of digital media research and digital resources in vocational education. The author summarizes the information presented in the works of foreign and national researchers in order to clarify the prospects for applying the experience gained in China in the framework of higher education in Russia. The theoretical significance of the research coincides with the disclosure of the factors that ensure the progress of higher education in China. These factors include two fundamentally important trends found in modern China. The first of them relates to the desire to establish control over the implementation of innovative transformations in education by the state. The second trend is related to the progressive decentralization of management methods implemented in China regarding the delegation of authority for the development of distance and open education to the level of local authorities. Thus, the moment of inconsistency accompanying the functioning of educational systems in modern China is highlighted. The way out of this problematic situation is seen in the framework of the support of the state authorities on the initiatives of civil society, which serves as a support for the implementation of the state educational policy. As a result, the research allows concluding that the innovative development of higher education leaves an imprint on the transformation of Chinese society as a whole. The prospects for transferring the experience accumulated in China show the need to eliminate the most problematic moments and borrow only positive developments that help to give a new impetus to the Russian higher school and expanding the mechanisms of its interaction with friendly foreign partners.

Buravleva N.A., Seryakov V.V. Prevention of bullying among teenagers by methods of social theater // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 1 (53). P. 123-132

In recent years, we have seen an increase in bullying situations among teenagers. According to the World Report on Violence against Children, one in ten schoolchildren in the world is exposed to violence in an educational environment, and this figure is increasing every year. Bullying negatively affects the emotional state of children, personality development, and can lead to tragic cases. The task of the teaching staff of educational institutions is to prevent precedents of cruelty among adolescents, to prevent bullying. Effective methods of bullying prevention at school include social theater. Social theater involves a group form and step-by-step work: preparing a performance on the topic of bullying and showing it to the audience with subsequent discussion. Through social theater, it is possible to simulate various situations that reproduce the conflict situation of adolescents with the search for a way out of it. The peculiarity of the social theater is the involvement of the audience in the ongoing process, their participation in the discussion, the opportunity to switch places with the performers of the roles, in practice to demonstrate the proposed solutions to the problem. Theatrical practices contribute to the social activation of adolescents, the acquisition of communication skills, and the testing of social roles through dramatization and improvisation. Social theater is an effective and gentle method when dealing with bullying, age and existential crises, interpersonal and intrapersonal problems. Social theater performs a wide range of functions in relation to participants and viewers: informational, educational, cognitive, developmental, social and communicative. Bullying prevention through social theater is aimed at understanding the topic of bullying, developing a negative attitude towards it, realizing the extent of the problem and ways to solve it.

Vakhitova G.K., Safina A.M., Khakimova N.G. FEATURES OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MENTORING IN UNIVERSITIES: EXPERIENCE AND ANALYSIS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 4 (44). P. 107-114

The article reveals the organizational and content possibilities of a pedagogical university that contribute to the professional development of young teachers. The approaches of two pedagogical universities to the organization of mentoring are described. It is indicated that a mentor in modern conditions should perform different roles: from a consultant to a tutor and a coach. As practice shows, it is the ability of a mentor to perform various roles that makes it possible to develop and expand the professional competencies of young specialists and form a stable motivation for professional activity. In Naberezhnye Chelny one of the mechanisms for mentoring is postgraduate support for young professionals. As an example of the peculiarities of the organization of mentoring in Tomsk, the experience of working together in the center of quasi-professional activity, where students can carry out professional activities in the organization of pre-school education, their first professional tests under the guidance of teachers-mentors is given. The article presents the results of a questionnaire survey of graduate groups of Naberezhnye Chelny and Tomsk State Pedagogical Universities in a comparative context. The authors concluded that different respondents, divided not only geographically, but also mentally, may have different opinions. The results of a survey of respondents from different universities can guide the teaching community to work on consolidating collegial efforts to create and implement joint projects, programs and events.

Buravleva N.A., Karakulova O.V., Ponarina S.V. Values, life orientations and life satisfaction of parents raising children with disabilities // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 4 (50). P. 162-169

The number of children with disabilities is growing every year. The appearance of a child with disabilities in the family leaves an imprint on the state of the parents, instills in them anxiety and fear for the future of the child. In such families, disintegrating social processes are observed that do not contribute to the successful socialization of children with disabilities. At the same time, the family can be considered as a resource in the development of a child with disabilities. Considering that many parents raising children with disabilities have typical features, a study was conducted on the psychological characteristics of parents: values, life orientations and life satisfaction. The following methods were used: The Life Satisfaction Scale (E. Diener; adapted by D.A. Leontiev, E.N. Osina); “Portrait Values Questionnaire-Revised” (Portrait Values Questionnaire -Revised – PVQ-R; Sh. Schwartz et al.; modification by K.V. Sugonyaev), where we examined the meta-values of “Openness to change” and “Saving”; Test of life orientations by D. A. Leontiev. The results of the study indicate that the values, life orientations and life satisfaction of parents raising children with disabilities differ significantly from similar psychological characteristics of parents raising healthy children. Parents raising children with disabilities need psychological and pedagogical support, they need comprehensive, targeted psychological assistance. The results obtained are of practical importance and can be used by specialists in designing programs of psychological and pedagogical support for parents raising children with disabilities.

Frolova E.V., Postavnev V.M., Dvoynin A.M. Academic motivation in students majoring in psychology and pedagogy: psychosemantic analysis // Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 6 (58). P. 103-113

The article presents the results of psychosemantic analysis of academic motivation in university students majoring in psychology and pedagogy. The study was conducted on a sample of 145 students studying in the first and fourth years of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Education of the Moscow City Pedagogical University, majoring in Psychological and Pedagogical Education. The study used the methodology for studying the motives of educational activity (A. A. Rean, V. A. Yakunin, I. V. Tikhomirova) and the universal semantic differential, which made it possible to identify the emotional connotation and personal significance of educational motives. The differences in the structure of educational motives of successful and unsuccessful students studying in the initial and final years are shown. The leading motives for junior students in psychology and pedagogy reflect the reduced personal significance of learning. The most important motives are those of employment, which reflects the pragmatic nature of choosing a field of study. First-year students with higher academic performance demonstrate a more differentiated motivation structure than students with lower academic performance, which is the basis for their success in learning. The structure of the leading motives of the fourth-year students includes professionally oriented motives, which reflects a higher readiness for professional activity than in the first-year students. The comparative analysis of academic motivation was carried out, which showed a flattening of the motivational structure in successful students and differentiation of learning motives in unsuccessful students. The identified phenomena reflect the different contribution of motivation as a regulatory factor in ensuring educational activity and the influence of cultural and socio-economic factors on the learning process of students studying in psychological and pedagogical specialties.
