Afanasyev V.V., Afanasyeva I.V., Afanasyev I.V. STUDY OF THE READINESS OF GRADUATE STUDENTS FOR RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SCENARIO-EVENT ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 4 (32). P. 113-123

The relevance and heuristic value of the article lies in the fact that the materials presented in it will give reason to researchers, scientific supervisors of graduate students, organizers of science and the graduate students themselves to understand how to ensure the highest productivity of training highly qualified personnel, to increase the prestige of research activities. The problem of a modern graduate student is not that he is not able to generalize well-known materials and that he cannot offer something new in his field of knowledge, but how to check the effectiveness of what is offered as organically «fit» theory into experimental designs. Simply put, how to build a relevant experiment. It is in this that the main value of the materials presented in the article is seen, which will help the subjects of this process most reasonably approach the choice of approaches to the organization of postgraduate training, methods and techniques of experimental research, building its content and presenting the results. The subject of the work is the mechanisms (approaches, methods, means) of studying the readiness of graduate students for research activities in the context of scenario-event organization of the educational process. The novelty of the work is that it shows how one of the main components of the productivity of postgraduate training – readiness for research activities can be qualimetrically evaluated by measuring three components: the level of selfrealization; motivation and formation of relevant competencies. The practical significance of the work is seen in the application of scenario approach models to the preparation of graduate students and the incorporation of various «events» into these models, in the systematic construction of the main stages of the experimental work and the interpretation of its results for each of the measured parameters.

Keywords: research activity, readiness for self-realization, motivation, the formation of research competencies, scenario-event organization of the educational process in graduate school

Burilkina S.A., Suprun N.G. PREVENTION OF ASOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENTS: THE POTENTIAL OF SUBJECT-SUBJECT INTERACTION BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 190-196

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that early identification of the child’s psychological characteristics and unfavorable situations of upbringing in the family could contribute to the correction of his asocial behavior, primarily by creating conditions for subject-subject interaction between parents and children, necessary for the formation of a full-fledged personality. The purpose of our study is to study the attitude of parents to psychological training as a condition of subjectsubject interaction, and a way to prevent asocial behavior of adolescents. In the study, first of all, the conditions of subject-subject interaction, such as a set of cognitive, active and experimental role-playing games, were determined and practically confirmed. The conditions should be based on humanistic ideas and aimed at developing the child’s own activity with the help of parents, in the mode of subject interaction. Also, in the system of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents, the leading role of parents through subject-subject interaction is determined. The article analyzes the essence and content of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents from the position of subject-subject interaction with parents. The concept of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents by subject-subject interaction of parents and children was proposed. The analysis of the results of the empirical work allowed us to state the dynamics of value-trust interaction in the family, and the implementation of a set of training exercises, through subjectsubject interaction, ensured the effectiveness of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents. The results of the study can be used by social educators, psychologists, and subject teachers, teachers of pedagogical universities in order to improve the process of subject-subject interaction between parents and children in the prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents.

Dmitriyeva P.R. THANATOLOGICAL COMPETENCE AS PART OF THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF A PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGIST // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 4 (38). P. 210-220

The article is devoted to the description of thanatological competence as mastering thanatological knowledge for making professional decisions in psychological practice and education. The relevance of the development of thanatological competence in the training of practical psychologists is due to the socio-cultural, professional and individual psychological aspects, which are amplified due to the coronavirus pandemic. The author provides information on the foreign experience of implementing programs to improve the thanatological competence of specialists in helping professions (doctors, psychologists, teachers), provides data on their effectiveness and difficulties in their implementation. Domestic experience is represented by educational disciplines only in some higher educational institutions and private thanatotherapy courses. At the same time, a number of studies reveal the relevance of the development of thanatological competence among future psychologists and a request to include this issue in the educational program, taking into account the coverage of the cognitive, activity and value-motivational component of thanatological issues. The main difficulties in the implementation of courses and disciplines of thanatological orientation are not only the ethical aspects of covering the issues of death in the educational program, but also the insufficient representation of research on death, dying and loss in domestic science. In conclusion, the author outlines the prospects for the implementation of the thanatopsychological direction in science, practice and educati on.

Filichev S.A., Lukashevich O.D., Taldonova N.V. THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENT’S ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 2 (20). P. 32-40

The article discusses the features of environmental training for students of Russian technical universities in the context of reforming the education system. The engineering and technical profile of the future bachelor is obliged to build the ecological and educational process differently than in the case of the humanitarian or natural-science areas of student preparation. The system, axiological and thesaurus approaches are offered as theoretical grounds for the environmental and professional training of the future engineer. Together they ensure the development of an ecological culture of the individual – the main goal of environmental education activities. The necessity of representing the technical university graduate’s ecological competency (including the totality of cognitive, creative-activity, motivational-value, reflexive-evaluative components) as a reflection of ecological culture’s formation is considered. The methods and forms of training that contribute to the formation of components of environmental competence of technical university students are described. The system approach is implemented through the use of categorical-system methodology as a tool. The modes of pedagogical interaction of the teacher and student in the model of compensatory homeostat are described and justified. The importance of formation of the ecologic-professional terminology of the future engineer is grounded and the prospect of using the thesaurus approach for this is promising. It shows the possibilities of developing it through a new method of learning – a triadic decoding, involving the identification of the essential characteristics of the defined term through a system of three complementary subordinate concepts. A number of information criteria describing the formation of the ecological-centric worldview, which is the foundation of the student’s ecological culture, is described. Forms and methods of formation of ecological values of technical university’s students are considered. The theoretical foundations of ecological training indicated in the work have a heuristic potential, as it opens the possibility of improving and developing methods of ecological and vocational training for students of technical universities.

Luo X. A NEW MODEL FOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN TEACHING RUSSIAN IN CHINA OF THE NEW ERA // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 87-92

The world we live is currently in the development mode of political, economic and cultural globalization, so foreign language education is receiving more and more attention all over the world. Thus, it is also imperative to establish a new model of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China. Meanwhile, both the changes that China has made under the “One Belt and Road Initiative” and the impact of Chinese culture’s “going out” strategy have brought new opportunities and challenges to Russian language teaching. Many Chinese experts and scholars have written several relevant articles to discuss the mode of teaching Russian talents under such new situation. In 2018, the Ministry of Education of China published the “National Standards for Undergraduate Professional Teaching Quality in Ordinary Colleges and Universities” (referred to as “National Standard”) providing a basis for the establishment of Russian professional quality standards and improving the quality of teaching Russian talents in the new era. The positioning of the “national standard” is reflected in the following three rules: 1) Professional orientation: combination of tradition and innovation. 2) Talent training: combination of comprehensive quality and practical ability. 3) Teaching staff: combination of teaching and scientific research. Meanwhile, the existing problems of Russian teaching in China are expounded.

Arshinskaya E.L., Korytova G.S., Korytova A.I. PSYCHOLOGICAL PREDICTORS AND RISK FACTORS OF EDUCATIONAL OVERLOADS AMONG THE STUDENTS OF GENEREAL SECONDARY SCHOOL // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 3 (25). P. 82-93

The article presents the results of an empirical study of educational overload among the students of the main stage of secondary school. The theoretical and methodological substantiation of the research is given and its objective relevance for the modern system of General education is shown. The empirical phase of the study was conducted over several years (2012–2018). Were involved in 527 adolescent school students during their training in the sixth-eighth grades of the General school. Psychological diagnostic data were subjected to mathematical and statistical processing, classified, generalized and interpreted. The results revealed the relationship between subjective perception and objective educational overload and allowed us to come to the conclusion about the impact of educational overload on the psychological well-being of students of the main stage of the General school. The conclusion that the prevention of educational overloads should be guided on either normative regulation of separate types of educational activity or a subjective state of students is made. The generalized conclusion is that the reason of the educational overload is not the expense of the main educational load of students but visiting additional types of educational activities. The data obtained allow us to say that preventing the occurrence of educational overload leads to necessity to optimize the possibility of assimilation and study of the material during the performance of the basic types of educational activities. Recommendations of possible directions of preventive work with students are given. The implementation of preventive programs should be carried out both in educational and extracurricular activities with all subjects of the educational process – teachers, educators, as well as with the parents of students. It is shown that the task of the teacher-psychologist is to identify the factors that may further cause the occurrence of certain difficulties or deviations in the development of children, and their elimination through preventive work.

Pigarev A.Y. METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO INCAPABLE STUDENTS // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 37-45

Differences in the mathematical abilities of different students are manifested in the fact that the same practice and exercises for students with different abilities give different results. For a capable student, these exercises lead to the mastery of mathematical knowledge and skills, for an incapable student do not. The reason for the inability to mathematics is the lack of working memory. There are two main approaches to solve the problem of teaching mathematics to incapable students: (1) training working memory and (2) reducing the load on working memory in the educational process. The results of the first approach are ambiguous: training working memory leads to an improvement in the performance of untrained tests for working memory, but it may not lead to noticeable changes in learning indicators associated with the working memory of the student. Accordingly, it remains to reduce the load on working memory in the educational process. Well known methods that reduce the load on working memory when studying mathematics are described. Automation of basic computing skills (arithmetic, trigonometric, geometric) is achieved with the help of computer trainers developed by the author: the mental calculations trainer, the trainer for developing skills in working with a trigonometric circle, the trainer for developing skills of using reduction formulas and the rectangular triangle solving trainer. The technique of working with trainers is based on the interval repetition method. Empirical data on the results of their implementation are presented.

Fei Y. Music education transformation in China: from origins to digital technologies // Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 5 (51). P. 70-79

The development of musical training system in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), based on national traditions, both theoretically and practically, from its origins to the era of digital technology, is considered. For this purpose, the theoretical notions of musical professional education in China are systematized in correlation with the main historical stages of the country’s development and in the conditions of its reform. It is shown that modern music education in China dates back to the early twentieth century, when other countries had already formed music schools (in the broadest sense of the word); accordingly, the formation of Chinese musicology and music teaching methods initially relied on foreign traditions, including them in the millennial practical experience of mastering the musical art, accumulated by the ancient civilization. Since the adoption of the Western system of music education, many music courses and teaching methods have remained unchanged for many years. Modern music education places greater demands on the education of the teacher of higher education, the structure of knowledge, cultural development and quality of teaching, including mastery of digital technologies. At present, the level of training of Chinese music teachers is uneven, and it takes a large number of dedicated, hard-working, high-level music teachers to fill the gaps in Chinese music education that are holding back the development of Chinese music.

Pozdeeva S.I. WHAT THE TEACHER-MENTOR SHOULD BE: THE RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 2 (20). P. 70-75

The article describes the results of questioning of students of the faculty of preschool and primary education. The aim of the research is to clarify the attitude of respondents to the issue of supervision practice in educational organizations. Supervision is interpreted as a methodological and active support that contributes not only to adaptation in the profession but also to professional and personal development. The author finds out what factors influence the decision of the teacher to stay in profession; what forms of work with young specialists are used most often; what qualities must the teacher-instructor have. It turns out that the main positive factors are: high salary, organization of methodological support, team adaptation. Individual consultations and exemplary lessons of experienced colleagues are the most used forms of support work with young specialists. Respondents’ opinions about the qualities of a mentor can be grouped into two “triangles”: the psychological “triangle of confrontation” (empathy, communicability, exactness) and pedagogical “triangle of complementarity” (professional experience, ability to learn, research qualities). Finally, the author clarifies that supervision is a co-organization of different models of interaction with the ward (authoritarian, leadership, partnership), in which a mentor can be a head, a leader and a partner in cooperation with a young specialist depending on the goals and content of supervision.

Azorkina O.D., Kirillova E.N. ON THE FORMATION OF FUTURE PHYSICS TEACHERS’ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES. A STUDY OF A LESSON IN THE COURSE THEORETICAL PHYSICS // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 2 (24). P. 9-16

Within a currently relevant competence-based approach, some aspects of the formation of professional competencies of future physics teachers when studying the course Theoretical Physics. Module: Classical Mechanics» are considered. This discipline is a fundamental component of the theoretical training of the teacher-physicist and plays the role of a knowledge basis, without which the successful activity of a physics teacher is impossible. Physics studies the general laws of the phenomena of nature, the properties and structure of matter, the forms of motion of matter and their mutual transformations. Theoretical Physics is given a primary place in the formation of the natural scientific world outlook and a holistic picture of the world, in addition, it contributes to the development of scientific thinking among students. Formation of professional competencies in students occurs in the process of studying a specific topic of Classical Mechanics: «The Lagrange function. Euler-Lagrange equations». In the study of General Physics, a course preceding the study of Theoretical Physics, in considering the dynamics of mechanical systems, Newtonian mechanics is used, which is based on Newton’s laws and Galilean’s principle of relativity. In the course of Theoretical Physics, equivalent formulations of Classical Mechanics are given – the Lagrangian’s and the Hamiltonian’s formalisms. In this paper, we consider the interrelation of Newtonian’s and Lagrange’s mechanics on the example of three variants of the plane flat balance problem.

Fayzullayeva E.D. INTERACTION BETWEEN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PARENTS AS IMPLEMENTATION OF MENTORING // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 6 (28). P. 104-110

The pedagogical activity of a preschool education teacher implies interaction with students’ parents in the process of educational activity. The article discusses systematic and methodological components of the interaction between the preschool education teacher and the students’ parents as the implementation of the teachers’ mentoring in relation to the parents. The methodological component of this approach is revealed through the concept of G.N. Prosumentova and the typological characteristics of joint activities: closed, reversed, open. The development of these ideas by S.I. Pozdeyeva in the description of the activity characteristics of different types of mentoring in the professional pedagogical sphere allowed to present the methodological component of the approach in the field of preschool education. When moving to a mentoring position, the teacher uses different models for organizing joint activities, providing psychological, pedagogical, methodological and advisory services more adaptably, which is defined by the objective of the federal project “Support for Families with Children”. Based on the models and types of mentoring proposed by S.I. Pozdeyeva, the article reveals the characteristics of the working actions of a preschool teacher, acting as a mentormethodologist, mentor-tutor, mentor-consultant, mentor-coach, mentor-developer, mentor-partner, mentor-navigator with respect to the students’ parents. In this case, the students’ parents appear as participants in all stages of joint educational activities.

Asmolovskaya M.V., Valeyev A.A. DEVELOPMENT OF REFLEXIVE READINESS OF STUDENTS TO USE INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 4 (38). P. 177-187

The active nature of modern higher education today urgently requires the introduction into its content of the formation of students’ reflective competencies, which can be said as an important direction of modernization of education in general. This applies, in particular, to teaching a foreign language, where the use of interactive technologies also becomes an essential educational resource, when, under conditions of constant updating of information, its reflexive generalization becomes so necessary. In this regard, the use of interactive technologies by students in the teaching process of a foreign language from the point of view of their reflexive readiness for this becomes especially relevant, since students do not yet have sufficient ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships in the linguistic aspects of the language being studied. Hence, the formulation of the problem of the development of students’ reflexive readiness to use interactive technologies in the teaching process of a foreign language is conditioned by the need to update the university education system, where there are certain contradictions. This concerns, for example, the requirements for solving the problem of expanding the student’s reflective activity and the insufficient methodological development of the qualitative introduction of reflection into the process of teaching a foreign language, taking into account the use of interactive technologies. In this regard, this article is devoted to understanding the methodological aspects of the reflexive skills of university students, in particular, through interactive technologies. Thus, the purpose of this work was to consider the aspects of the development of students’ reflective readiness to use interactive technologies in the teaching process of a foreign language.

This article is devoted to considering a range of issues related to the search for ways to improve the educational process in military higher educational institutions (HEIs) through the use of training teaching methods. The relevance of this problem is determined by the specifics and the highest level of complexity of modern problematic military-political situations and trends in their development. In this regard, very high requirements are imposed on the level of morale and combat qualities of the current Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and future military personnel. Satisfaction of these requirements is possible provided that the effectiveness of the educational process in military universities is increased, including through the use of training teaching methods. The main task and goal of the educational process of a military university is the formation of a whole complex of qualities in servicemen, which, in addition to moral, professional-combat and physical, include psychological qualities: developed perception, thinking, attention, memory, emotional and volitional stability. The level of psychological readiness of modern cadets of military universities determines their ability to adequately assess any situation, including a conflict one, to navigate in it, and independently make responsible decisions. The feasibility of widespread use in the educational process of training teaching methods is due to their high potential in ensuring psychological readiness, in the formation and development of psychological mechanisms for managing their behavior in stressful situations. Due to the specific content and organizational form, training is an effective means of forming and improving professionally significant qualities of future military personnel, a means of intensive training in behavior in conflict situations. It is obvious that the systematic use of trainings in the educational process of a military higher educational institution, the provision and observance of certain conditions during their organization and implementation can be a rather effective way of increasing the effectiveness of military education in general.

As we enter the new millennium, the emerging reforms in the fields of secondary education and teachers’ education in China have raised new demands on the quality of teachers’ training. Professional-methodical training as an integral part of teachers’ education is closely related to the quality of teachers’ training. In order to improve the effectiveness of teachers’ training, this article examines and analyzes the history of development and the current state of professional-methodical training of teachers in China. Studies show that the development of this training is characterized by a late start, a short period of development, folding under the influence of Western countries, and in the context of educational reform, it faces enormous challenges, as well as new opportunities. The main characteristics of the current state of professional-methodical teachers’ training in China include: “blind” copying and borrowing the experience and models of professional-methodical training of other countries, while reforming teacher’ education, where national conditions and needs of general education are increasingly taken into account; the complexity of the system of professional-methodical teachers’ training, where the central place is occupied by the academic discipline “teaching methods”; practical orientation of professional-methodical training. And on the basis of the results of the study, constructive proposals are put forward for the further development and improvement of this training. To improve the system of professional-methodical training, it is necessary to reform it in three ways: to clarify the goals; improve educational programs; diversify assessment methods.
