Galkina T.V., Nesterenko P.L. PATRIOTIC RESOURCE OF DESIGN WORK WITH HISTORICAL ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTS ON THE TOPIC «EMPLOYMENT OF DISABLED IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR IN TOMSK IN 1941–1944». Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 1 (41). P. 27-35

The article is devoted to identifying effective methods of project activities on patriotic topics within the framework of educational archival practice for students of pedagogical universities. At the same time, the emphasis is on practicing the methods of analyzing a written clerical archival source. The polyfunctionality of a historical source allows one to “extract” from it not only the social information of its time, but also to use its potential for epistemological cognition. The ability to determine the type and type of historical source, to perform external and internal analysis of the archival source, to create tabular forms of accounting for historical information are the necessary competencies of a student of history. Competent formulation of project tasks of practice allows you to simultaneously solve several tasks on the professionalization of the future teacher of history and social studies: he carefully treats historical sources as carriers of historical memory, to practice source study skills and abilities on reliable archival sources, to delve into the essence of the global social consequences of the Great Patriotic War using the example of the topic “Employment of invalids of the Great Patriotic War in Tomsk in 1941–1944”. The actualization of increased attention to this social group as winners and victims appears to be a new format of patriotic education. Ma H. Modern comparative pedagogical research on the training of vocalists in China and Russia. Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 3 (55). P. 154-164

The role of comparative research has increased, and the interdependent world has become the modern context for the development of comparative pedagogy. Recently, the number of scientific and pedagogical publications devoted to music education and vocal pedagogy, in particular the training of vocalists, has increased in both countries. In Russian universities and conservatories, vocalists from China are trained, vocal competitions are held with participants from both countries, and Russian teachers in the field of music education are invited to China for teaching activities. The article summarizes the results of modern comparative pedagogical research over the past 15 years on the training of vocalists in China and Russia, carried out primarily by Chinese scientists alone, in collaboration with Russian scientists or under the scientific supervision of scientists from Russian universities. Their problems are mainly related to the influence of Russian vocal art (opera) on Chinese and the peculiarities of training vocalists in China and Russia (similarities and differences). The review of research data allows us to create a holistic picture of the current state of training of vocalists in the two countries, the specifics, development and integration of vocal schools. Modern research confirms the influence of Russian theory and practice in the field of training vocalists on Chinese musical and vocal education, but the training systems in both China and Russia are equally highly and respectfully assessed, their uniqueness, similarities, and differences are revealed, noting possible areas for improvement.

Lobanov V.V., Vakurin A.N. EXPERT EXAMINATION OF EXTRA-TRAINING SPORTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AS A RESOURCE OF METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 3 (31). P. 85-93

Teaching students to develop and form educational programs is an actual task for teachers of a pedagogical university. Special requirements apply to training students in development of extra-training educational programs aimed at physical education and sports, since the quality of such programs determines not only competitive progress, but also maintaining the health of students. Training quality and methodological literacy of students in the development of modern extra-training educational programs is largely defined by the regularity of educational practices monitoring and it’s reflection in programs as methodical documents. Under Russian conditions, various federal, regional and municipal expert (and competitive) events to evaluate educational programs can be considered as the basis for monitoring. Understanding of expertise as a valuable resource to improve students’ methodological literacy is determined by the fact that at present time in the Tomsk region, expert evaluation activity of educational programs during contests and other events has become systematic for for teachers conducting pedagogical disciplines. The author’s experience in analyzing physical education and sports programs at the regional stage of the Russian National contest of extra-training general developmental programs (including different-level ones) and as a part of regional project “Every Child’s Success”, independently evaluating the quality of extra-training educational programs, made it possible to examine the methodological deficiencies of teachers working in physical education and sports. Generalization of their typical mistakes turned out to be promising for the correction of practices of teaching students to develop modern educational programs and related features.

Chernikova T.V., Sokalskiy E.A., Boluchevskaya V.V., Shutova O.I. ETHNOCULTURAL FEATURES OF ACADEMIC ADAPTATION OF STUDENTS OF THE NEAR AND FAR ABROAD. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 6 (40). P. 178-189

The quantity of students from far and near abroad in Russian universities is increasing from year to year. This indicator shows not only the prestige of the Russian higher education system, but also the establishment of good-neighbourly, partnership relations. In this regard, the problem of successful adaptation of foreign students is considered from the point of view of strengthening the international status of the state as a whole. There are two aspects of adaptation, psychological (generalized) and socio-cultural (expressed), we studied 397 foreign students from universities in the south of Russia to investigate these aspects. We used express diagnostic tools designed on A. L. Sventsitsky “Self-assessment of psychological adaptability” and the scales “Social commitment to the country” and “Cultural commitment to the country” from S. V. Frolova’ questionnaire. Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was used for statistical data processing. Psychological and socio-cultural adaptation to educational conditions of south Russia universities were considered in the relation “isolation – identification” (V. I. Slobodchikov) and found a high rank correlation. Psychological and socio-cultural adaptation were considered in the ratio “isolation – identification” (V. I. Slobodchikov) and found a correlation of р 0.01. According to the results, students from far abroad demonstrated low psychological adaptability with high claims to the success of socio-cultural adaptation. Assistance in achieving it from university teachers will be especially effective when they combine academic work with solving problems of educational, professional, as well as social and communicative character. Students from neighbouring countries demonstrated an interconnected set of requirements for successful socio-cultural adaptation, focusing on social ties and keeping a distance in the field of culture. In this regard, the work of teachers to ensure the positive dynamics of intercultural relations with the involvement of traditions of interethnic good-neighbourliness in the southern region of Russia is particularly significant. Consequently, the present research materials are in need of the system of advanced training of the teaching staff, taking into account the difference in the cultural distance of foreign students.

Gaponova S.A., Dyatlova K.D. .. Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 5 (57). P. 133-142

The article is devoted to the study of the motivational sphere of students of various forms of higher education. It is noted that the features of the motivational sphere significantly affect the satisfaction of students with the learning process and, ultimately, the realization of their personal potential in the chosen types of professional activities. The purpose of this study is to study the motivational sphere of students’ personality and to identify the degree of satisfaction - dissatisfaction of actual basic needs: material, security, interpersonal relations, respect and self-actualization, as well as to determine the prevailing type of motivation (success or failure) taking into account the form of education. The study involved 173 second-year students (26 boys and 147 girls): 85 students of the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after K. Minin of the correspondence department (NSPU) of the faculties of psychology and pedagogy (41 people), physical culture and sports (21 people), humanities (23 people); 89 students of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod: 43 full-time and part-time students of the Faculty of Social Sciences (UNN) and 46 full-time students of this faculty (UNN). Students are between 18 and 25 years old. To diagnose the actual basic needs: in financial situation, in security, in interpersonal relations, in respect, in self-realization, we used the method “Hierarchy of Needs”, modified by I. A. Akindinova, which allows us to determine the level of their satisfaction. To diagnose the prevailing type of motivation, the method “Motivation for Success and Fear of Failure” (EOR) by A. A. Reanwas used. It should be noted that the majority of students in all study groups are at the level of partial satisfaction of needs. Significant differences between groups were found in satisfaction with interpersonal relationships, needs for respect, and needs for self-actualization. A higher level of motivation for success was found in part-time and part-time students, compared to full-time students. The results obtained allow us to conclude that students of different forms of education differ in the level of satisfaction of basic needs and the prevailing type of motivation. At the same time, the specificity of satisfying a particular need is related to the social situation of students’ development.

Igna O.N. About the teacher’s methodical credo. Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 4 (56). P. 22-31

This study is devoted to the analysis of the pedagogical term and phenomenon “methodical credo”. Today, pedagogical science and education are not limited only to the pedagogical credo, which has existed for a long time and is the most used of all types of credo in relation to the activities of a teacher. The following types of credo, identified by the author of the article, are named: scientific credo, sociolinguistic credo, personal and professional credo. Synonyms for words “method” and “credo” are identified, as well as their common (mutual) synonyms, and synonyms for “pedagogical credo” and “methodical credo/creed” are grouped. The meaning of the terms closest to the methodical credo is clarified. The essence of the methodical credo presented in the scientific publications is summarized. The author of this study puts forward the assumptions about the reasons for the emergence of the methodical credo in contemporary domestic pedagogical science. Thus, a methodological credo, to a greater extent than a pedagogical one, correlates with the teacher’s pedagogical activity and his methodical training, acts as an alternative to algorithmization in teacher’s training and compensation for the formalization of this training. It reflects the development trends of Russian educational terminology. A conclusion is drawn about the prospects of further research into the methodical credo and its inclusion in methodical dictionaries.

Semenova N.A., Nikitin A.A. Value-semantic guidelines of future teachers: analysis of concepts and review of research at the present stage. Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 6 (58). P. 154-169

The article describes the results of the analysis of the studies of the value-semantic foundations of training future teachers. Value guidelines and value-semantic orientations act as value-semantic foundations of training future teachers. Value guidelines are key concepts that are the basis for setting goals and choosing activities. Value-semantic orientations are part of the personality structure, which includes personal meanings, motives, and interests. Value-semantic orientations determine the direction of an individual’s activity and become a determinant of its development. The value-semantic orientations of a teacher are related to his professional activity. It is important that the value system that the teacher transmits to the future generation depends on them. The authors present the results of a review of dissertation research and peer-reviewed scientific publications over the past three years (2022-2024). It has been revealed that the research is aimed at identifying the value of specific parts of the educational process, at applying the value-semantic approach to describe educational practices, at describing the conditions for the formation of students’ value attitudes to something. A large number of scientific papers are devoted to the value-semantic orientations of teachers and students in the context of continuous pedagogical education. Questions remain open about how the same unified value-semantic foundations of pedagogical education should be implemented in the context of a single educational space.

Sannikova I.G. THE IMPORTANCE OF WORKSHOPS IN THE PROCESS OF TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 4 (38). P. 76-82

The article considers the set of requirements for a teacher of a general education school in the format of a teacher’s professionogram, and the resources of the educational practice of a pedagogical university aimed at forming the professional competence of a graduate. The purpose of the study is to summarize the experience and present a model vision of the author’s psychological and pedagogical workshop as a dispersed training course for the future teacher. The material of the study was: the results of the survey of students of the pedagogical university of the final courses and teachers of the basic schools of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, as well as the psychological and pedagogical workshop developed by the author. On the basis of the presented survey data, the resources for the development of the content of pedagogical education are identified, and a psychological and pedagogical workshop is proposed as one of the mechanisms for solving the problem of actual professional training of future teachers. Based on the analysis of the scientific and pedagogical literature and the experience of the approach to the implementation of the psychological and pedagogical workshop, the format of the practice-oriented organization of the course is chosen, based on a combination of several variants of educational activities (educational activities for the study of theoretical information, educational modeling, design and construction, educational interaction and independent work during pedagogical practice), the logic of the distribution of educational material into variable and invariant modules is described. The psychological and pedagogical workshop as an element of creating a practice-oriented educational environment allows for the internal relationship between subject, psychological, pedagogical and methodological courses, contributing to the formation of pedagogically significant qualities of a graduate of a pedagogical university.

Kozlova T.A., Karpushina L.P. FORMATION OF FOLK SONG PERFORMANCE SKILLS IN THE FOLKLOR ENSEMBLE UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATION. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 6 (34). P. 61-66

At present, additional education is especially important, within the framework of which a person’s upbringing begins with an introduction to folk traditions, musical folklore. One of the forms of involving children in folk singing performance is a folklore ensemble, in the classroom of which the skills of performing folk songs are formed. The methodological guidelines were complex, dialectical, comparative-contrastive, logical approaches, as well as theoretical analysis of psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature. In the course of the research, the process of forming the skills of performing songs within the framework of folk traditions in a folklore ensemble, carried out in conditions of additional education, has been substantiated. The skills of performing folk songs in a folklore ensemble include: skills of folklore intonation (smooth sound science; natural sound formation; use of both head and chest resonators; improvisational approach to singing and lyrics); singing skills; skills in performing polyphonic tunes of heterophonic style, style of two-, three-, four-voice drone polyphony, etc. The main repertoire of the folklore ensemble is samples of folk musical art. Folk musical art is an art of a special kind, which is characterized by tradition, syncretism, variability, collectivity, emotional saturation, a combination of the universal and the national. Taking into account these features of musical folklore leads to the definition of special pedagogical principles for mastering folk musical art. One of the leading principles on which the development of musical folklore is based is the legibility of the transmission of musical material. The principle of improvisation comes from the very nature of folk art. He suggests that the development of folklore should be creative. The principle of combining individual and integrated approaches in teaching the folklore tradition of performance presupposes the combination of collective and individual creativity. The principle of syncretism involves the use of various types of activities in the classroom – singing, dancing, playing instruments. The principle of confidential communication between a teacher and children presupposes open, emotional relations between the participants of the folklore action. The principle of ensemble teaching will allow you to teach how to adapt your voice to the overall sound, organically including it in the overall performance. The mastering of a folk song is distinguished by its great originality and requires the teacher to implement all the principles that reflect the specificity of musical folklore.

Zhdanova E.A. STUDYING THE PREPAREDNESS OF THE IRKUTSK OBLAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL EDUCATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS. Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 6 (28). P. 51-62

Multifunctionality of the modern elementary education connected to development of both thematic and metathematic, as well as the personal results, creates the problem of the educational assignments’ quality. Now the most effective assignments are those that help students to develop universal learning activities of all types, meaning that the elementary schools students learn both thematic and metathematic content. The goal of this article is to ascertain elementary school teachers capability to understand the essence of educational assignments and their preparedness to develop multifunctional assignments. The material for this research consists of elementary school teacher survey results. The method is provided by survey and theoretical analysis of scientific literature. The analysis of the data revealed that the teachers focus on the administrative function of the teacher, providing the assignment as an order that requires completion; are unable to name all the essential parts of the learning assignments and to define its functionality, thus narrowing the scope of assignment applicability in their own work. Most of the respondents rework the textbook assignments, yet the target potential remains the same, maintaining the focus on the subject results. During independent creation of the learning assignments most of the teachers have difficulties with ascertaining the target resource, providing accurate language material, organizing the completion, reflexion and evaluation, making quality formula of the assignment itself. The survey of the elementary school teachers allowed to reveal the most typical problems connected to the teacher preparedness to develop and use multifunctional educational assignments, which allows to ascertain areas of education concerning the creation of the educational assignments that help the elementary school students to form metathematical results.

Nikitina L.A. CREATION OF SCIENTIFIC WRITTEN TEXT OF FINAL QUALIFICATION WORK: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 5 (39). P. 130-137

According to the standards of higher education, a graduate of a pedagogical university is obliged to conduct a pedagogical study and draw it up in the text of the final qualification work. However, analysis of the works shows that for many future teachers, writing a scientific text causes significant difficulty. The questionnaire revealed typical difficulties and reasons for their occurrence, which are due, on the one hand, to the lack of experience in writing in the process of studying vocational training disciplines. On the other hand, it is not the willingness of students to reflect on the process of speech activity and its products, and also not to own ways of organizing independent work. Typical mistakes in the creation of the text of the graduation work were revealed: the lack of a communicative task, the lack of compliance with the logic and relationship of parts of the text, the inclusion of unprocessed materials from primary sources, the lack of own judgment on the topic being studied. Directions in teaching written scientific speech in the preparation process at the university are indicated: inclusion of tasks in all disciplines of training, programs of pedagogical practices involving writing a text of a scientific style, the use of educational technologies focusing on the use of written text as a result of training. It is concluded that training in the writing of the text of the final qualification work involves the consistent involvement of students in the mastery of the culture of written scientific speech, as well as the experience of the research activity of the teacher.

The article is devoted to the identification of ways to improve professional training of artists of decorative and applied arts in the system of higher education. The reasons for the lack of understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge by students have been identified, among which the most significant problem is the absence of interprandial links between educational subjects. A variety of associative and dissociative connections in the vision of the same object or phenomenon have been proven to be a leading sign of understanding that forms sustainable systemic knowledge. Possibilities of using the methods of «discourse» and «interpretation» in mastering the content of the training course «Cultural studies» and the cycle of professional disciplines aimed at mastering the principles of design of applied arts and their materialization are identified. It is shown that discourse, as an analytical process and method of cognition, mediated by artistic-shaped perception and intuition, activates reclusive dialogue, development of alternative options, critical analysis of its actions, formulates assessment judgements and author ‘s reflexion, as necessary qualities of the artist-applied, capable of selfknowledge and self-development. The method of «interpretation» deepens the understanding of signs, symbols and meanings in the context of their professional activities. The conditions for the use of the designated methods in the educational process of the university have been identified and justified. It is concluded that interprandial ties in the teaching of decorative and applied arts intensify the holistic understanding of knowledge and increase the possibilities of their application in new situations, encouraging independence and personal self-realization.

KOSIKOVA S.V. MODEL OF IMPLEMENTATION OF ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING INDEPENDENCE OF STUDENTS. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 4 (38). P. 25-32

The author actualizes the problem of ensuring the continuity of educational activity in the pedagogical system of general education with a target focus on the educational independence of students. In the context of the discreteness of the Russian educational system, the stage of the student’s transition from primary school to basic school is defined by the author as a strategically important period in solving the indicated problem, which consists in creating a complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions at the transitional stage of general education, considered as a combination of external and internal circumstances of educational activity, aimed at the continuous development of educational independence of students. The scientific novelty of the research carried out by the author lies in the development of a model for the implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the continuous development of educational independence of students, including conceptual, content-activity and effective modules. A feature of the author’s model is the integration of functional blocks that interact with each other through the developed mechanisms and implementation tools and show what organizational and pedagogical conditions must be met in order for the tasks to be solved and the functions described by the blocks to be realized. The purpose of the article is to describe a model for the implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the continuous development of students’ independence in educational activities at the stage of transition from primary school to basic school. As a result of the experimental verification of the model, it was proved that the complex of organizational and pedagogical conditions (managerial, methodological, design, technological) identified by the author ensures the continuity of the student’s educational independence during his transition from the primary to the basic level of general education. The study was carried out by the method of natural experiment within the framework of experimental work, the results of which are confirmed by statistical data. The article is intended for researchers, specialists in the field of pedagogy, practicing teachers, students of pedagogical universities.

Slepkina Y.V., Seregina T.N. Integrated approach to the development of polyphonic hearing of pianists in university. Pedagogical Review. 2023. Issue 1 (47). P. 70-77

The authors reveal the theoretical and methodological basis for the development of polyphonic hearing of the students in the profile “Piano” in the higher school. The article substantiates the necessity to organize a complex approach to the solution of the indicated problem. The acuteness of the problem is caused by the ineffectiveness of the traditional ways of development of polyphonic hearing, when polyphony is learned not in the interaction of music subject fields, but in parallel and independently of each other. This situation hinders the formation of a holistic view of polyphony and inhibits the development of polyphonic hearing. Researchers have analyzed the concept of “ear for music” and defined it as a set of abilities of a person that allow him to fully perceive and objectively evaluate the music. The features of polyphonic hearing as a variety of musical hearing are also considered. It is interpreted as a complex ability, aimed at a holistic perception of the specific properties of polyphonic music. The article substantiates the idea of the necessity to develop polyphonic hearing on the basis of an integrated approach as the basic methodological idea and the condition for solving the problem. We defined the complex approach as the interrelation and realization of the main parameters of the educational process (goals, objectives, conditions, principles, methods, techniques). Interdisciplinary links act as a didactic condition for the implementation of an integrated approach. The authors reveal the structural components of the integrated approach and propose a strategy for its implementation in the educational process of the higher school profile “Piano”.

Karabalayeva G.T. PREPARATION OF STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS FOR INTERACTION WITH FAMILY AND SOCIETY. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 3 (31). P. 224-232

Changes in the life of modern society entailed a violation in the preexisting interaction of school, family and society. The rapid change in the socio-economic conditions of society to a certain extent changes the interaction of the subjects of the educational system in the upbringing of children and youth, which is manifested in the complication of responsibility in making pedagogical decisions, caused by the increased relationship between those who participate in this upbringing. The problem is compounded by the fact that in the Kyrgyz Republic the issues of interaction between schools, families and society have not been sufficiently studied both theoretically and practically. Based on the foregoing, the aim of the article is to determine the content of the interaction of school, family and society and to identify the further implementation of this aspect in the training of teachers. In this study, we used such methods as: theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature, questioning, observation, conversation, study of documentation and experience of educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic, mathematical methods). All these methods were used to study the state of the theory and practice of interaction between school, family and society in the current socio-economic and sociocultural situation. The study involved 231 students (J. Balasagyn KNU and the Kyrgyz-Russian Academy of Education (KRAO)). Of these, 114 students of 1–4 courses in the control group (KRAO). 117 students of 1–4 courses in the experimental group (KNU). Studying the problem of interaction between the school, family and society suggests that modern students of pedagogical directions of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic need special effective training as future teachers for partnerships with parents and representatives of society, where relations of responsibility, mutual trust and awareness of the coherence of goals should prevail, tasks and content in the upbringing of a growing person. For the effective implementation of the relationship of family and social education, a special course and a special system for training students of pedagogical specialties of higher educational institutions are offered. The results of the study show that the problem of interaction between the school, family and society today remains one of the important aspects of the activities of universities, as it is associated with assisting the future teacher in managing the joint activities of the school, family and society in order to combine the efforts of cooperation between the subjects of education.

Dorfman L.Y. Models of the Self in foreign psychology. Pedagogical Review. 2024. Issue 4 (56). P. 111-123

The models of Self created in foreign psychology are considered. Their place is taken into account in broader theories to classify models of the Self. For this purpose, larger theories are divided into groups. They were separated and refined by psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, socio-psychological, narrative and existential-humanistic models of the Self. In psychodynamic models, the Self refers to the areas of consciousness and subconscious, considering them together. In this case, the Self differentiates and splits through divergence and fragmentation, or, conversely, deals with convergence and the emergence of a holistic Self. Behavioral patterns demonstrate a behavioral view of the Self. It included the Self as ongoing activity, including external behavior, verbal behavior and internal activity. Cognitive models refer to descriptions, prescriptions, and expectations about qualities and goals associated with a person’s sense of self. The cognitive self is a filter of incoming information. Social psychological models view the Self as subject and object, a relationship through which the Self is separated from itself. In narrative models, the Self concerns life stories that reconstruct the past and address the present and imagined future in unity. These are people’s stories about themselves. Existential-humanistic models deal with the Self, which tends to actualize itself. This leads to differentiation, symbolization and experience. A common feature of all models of the Self is their fragmentation. The prospect of their integration points to a hopeful future.
