In the article we present structural and substantive analysis of the basic stages of implementation and approbation of the Professional Standard «Teacher-Psychologist (Psychologist in the sphere of education)» in educational institutions of the Russian Federation in the period from 2012 to 2019. Particularly, we highlight the requirements of the new professional standard «Teacher-psychologist (psychologist in the sphere of education)» for psychologist working in educational institutions. We show that the professional standard requirements to candidates for positions related to psychological and pedagogical activity are quite serious. We also note that effective realization of the general labour functions and labour functions, presented in the professional standard, is possible when definite universal general and specific professional competencies related to necessary skills and knowledge are completely formed. Requirements to education and training, experience of work and special conditions of admission of psychologists of educational institutions for job, a list of categories of persons who can not hold the position of teacher-psychologist are presented. Professional knowledge, a set of action and skills performed by psychologists are described. Standardization of professional activity of psychologists working at educational institutions will make possible more precise determination of the scope and directions of university training, retraining or professional development of pedagogical personnel.

Belyayeva S.P., Kashtanova S.N. USE OF POLYSENSORY APPROACH IN FORMATION OF FUNCTIONAL BASIS OF READING OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH THE GENERAL UNDERDEVELOPMENT OF SPEECH // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 46-53

The increase in the number of children with general speech underdevelopment and the increase in the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard to the effectiveness of literacy training make it possible to actualize the problem of preparing preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment to learn reading. The article proposes a comprehensive approach to the process of forming the functional basis of reading in preschoolers with general underdevelopment of speech, which is based on the use of a polysensory approach. The influence of the use of the polysensory approach in the formation of the functional basis of reading in preschoolers with General underdevelopment of speech is investigated. The significance of the study is to supplement the theoretical ideas about the originality of speech and non-speech processes of teaching reading to children with general underdevelopment of speech. The expediency of an alternative approach to the training of preschool children with general underdevelopment of speech, including a polysensory approach, is substantiated. The speech therapy program is based on the polysensory approach in the formation of the functional basis of reading in preschool children with general underdevelopment of speech, using all units of reading and including work on the development of attention, visual perception, memory, phonemic hearing and speech.

Chuykova E.S. DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT OF ACADEMIC LITERACY IN WRITING // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 1 (19). P. 128-134

The article deals with various diagnostic systems in assessing the results of teaching academic writing. The author distinguishes levels of academic writing literacy and sets objectives for each level. The levels are characterized with reference to the Russian educational context. The diagnostic system is dynamic: a student moves from stage to stage starting with comprehension of academic writing functioning in Russia, following to application of writing requirement in study at higher institutions, until (s)he is able to create and present new knowledge in an autonomous research. The article touches upon different approaches to assessing academic writing results, for instance, ‘genre’ approach and ‘cognitive taxonomy’ approach, known also as ‘study skills’ and ‘academic literacies’ approaches, respectively. The suggested diagnostic system employs cognitive objectives to assess level of critical thinking in writing. To achieve the objectives, the syllabus is designed with the focus on Russian education realia, developing intrinsic and professional motivation through the theoretical part, reference to the real-life examples and their analysis. Consequently, the diagnostic system, first, establishes students’ study needs in the learning field. The genre in this system is the means, not the aims of assessment, as the focus is on the development of critical thinking in writing.

Mezinov V.N., Filatova I.Y. PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS, MASTERING THE PROFESSION OF A TEACHER IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 3 (21). P. 75-84

At present the development of the social intellect of the future teacher is an actual problem. This is evidenced by the research of modern scientists (Genkina V. A. (2000), Lukicheva M. A. (2004), Makarova N. A. (20013), etc.). The feasibility of developing the social intellect of a future teacher is due to its relationship with such concepts as “professionally important qualities”, “professional abilities” and “professionalism”. Social intelligence provides the future teacher with competitiveness, success in professional activities and improving the quality of education. The purpose of the study was to study the characteristics and level of development of social intelligence of students who master the profession of a teacher in a university. According to the results of the study, four groups of subjects with normal, medium, medium and low social intelligence were identified. This allowed us to identify certain features of social intelligence in future teachers and to confirm the relevance of the development of social intelligence. To develop the social intelligence of students who master the profession of a teacher in a university, a set of pedagogical conditions is proposed. The proposed conditions can be a fundamental component of the educational environment, allowing the most optimal design of the process of development of the social intelligence of the future teacher in the university.

Tokareva T.A. MODERN REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE JOINT EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PRESCHOOL EDUCATION: NECESSITY AND REALITY // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 79-91

The article raises the problem of the readiness of teachers of preschool educational organizations to work on the new Federal State Educational Standard, which pays great attention to the organization of the joint educational activities of a teacher with children. The results of two questionnaire surveys of kindergarten teachers are given, in the course of which it was found out, firstly, the level of the involvement of teachers in the development of educational programs, secondly, their understanding of the results of preschool education, and thirdly, the identification of priority areas for the development of a preschool child. It was found that the majority of teachers take an executive position in relation to educational programs, they are focused not on the personal development of children, but on the formation of their knowledge, skills, teachers underestimate the value of the game and research activities for children’s development. Real educational situations of the organization of the teacher’s joint activities with children are described, illustrating that teachers do not always understand how to make a child an active participant in interacting with an adult and how to get away from the total use of the authoritarian model of joint activity towards leadership and partnership. It is concluded that there is a relationship between the level of the methodological support in the kindergarten, including the position of the senior educator, and the ability of the teacher to organize educational situations of reversed and open joint action with children.

Korytova A.I., Korytova G.S. LITERARY SKILLS: THE PROBLEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING AND DESIGN OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS // Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 1 (23). P. 28-37

It is shown that the results of science research in the area of personalization made psychologists pay attention to the study of literary abilities of a gifted person, especially the psychological foundations and writers’ artistic creativity process. We started with the fact that nowadays researchers are searching for the integrative psychological indicator which allows to characterize a literary gifted personality. Further we describe the contribution of scholars to the development of diagnostic tools for studying psychological manifestations of literary abilities and specifics of literary and art creativity. Throughout the last century Russian and international scientists engaged in psychology have been carrying out fundamental research, including longitudinal studies on the problems of psychology of creativity, general and specific abilities. Finally, we show that one of the central problems of empirical studies in the field of psychological knowledge is the development of methods and tools for diagnosing psychological features of a creatively gifted personality. Russian psychologists developed testing techniques for diagnostics of features of creative thinking. However, researchers experience considerable difficulties in finding of external criterion. The uniform generalized validity measure for creativity has not been established yet. Special difficulties are caused by the design of psychological tests which can be used to study the nature of special abilities, literary and artistic talent. At the moment, the specialized tests for studying literary talent are not developed, therefore the problem of creating them is objectively relevant.

Voytekhovskaya M.P., Kochurina S.A. REVIEW OF MODERN RESEARCH ON THE HISTORY OF TEACHER EDUCATION IN SIBERIA AND THE FAR EAST IN THE 1917 – EARLY 1930S // Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 6 (40). P. 146-161

Historical experience is the basis for carrying out modern educational reforms; therefore, problems of the history of education occupy a significant place in modern historical and historical-pedagogical research. In the historiography of the development of pedagogical education in Russia, two independent research traditions have been preserved for many years, the first of which was directed to the pre-revolutionary history of education, the second to the history of the Soviet school. As for the history of education during the revolution and the Civil War, there were practically no deep scientific works, especially in the regional context, until the end of the 20th century. In the first decades of Soviet power, in historiography, the attitude towards the problems of the development of education was directly related to ideological attitudes that presupposed a critical or exclusively negative attitude towards the pre-revolutionary legacy. Gradually, the erroneous opinion was confirmed that domestic pedagogical education began with the organization in the USSR of educational institutions of a new type – pedagogical institutes. In the 1950s – 1960s the history of pedagogical education was often considered as a separate area of scientific research, however, researchers focused on the achievements and innovations in the organization of Soviet education, completely disregarding objective data on the numerous borrowings of the People’s Commissariat of Education of policies, methods and techniques for managing the education system that developed in the pre-revolutionary period. When from the late 1960s researchers got the opportunity to access many, previously closed archives, the study of the history of teacher education has found a “second wind”. But only since the 1990s the dogmatic attitude to historical material from 1917 to the early 1930s is gradually disappearing, which was facilitated by a change in public attitudes, freedom of speech, and the availability of extensive historical materials to researchers. In the post- Soviet period, the question of the continuity of the pre-Soviet and Soviet history, including the history of education, acquired particular relevance. In recent decades, a significant number of publications have appeared in which the problems of teacher training in the region in the first decades of Soviet power are directly or as related. At the same time, in many modern publications there are inaccuracies in wording, erroneous facts that wander from work to work. Sometimes authors use a limited selection of sources, interpret the data too freely, which undoubtedly reduces the quality of scientific research. Analysis of scientific literature showed that scientific research, in a complex revealing the development processes in 1917 – early 1930s the strategy of modernizing the Soviet system of pedagogical education and its implementation in the regions is still insufficient. Attention is drawn to the complete absence of modern generalizing works on the history of teacher education in the context of the introduction of universal education in Siberia and the Far East.

The effectiveness and quality of education of children in preschool educational institutions depend on the educational programs used. Educational programs in their majority are based on the basic activity of preschool children - the game. Classes in the water environment contribute to hardening, have a healing, therapeutic and hygienic effect. There were no methodological recommendations for practicing water polo with preschool children in small-sized swimming pools. The aim of the research is to increase the effectiveness of direct educational activities in physical culture using the means of the sports game water polo for children of senior preschool age. Experience of work with pupils of a kindergarten on physical training with boys of a preparatory group with the use of sports game water polo is presented. The purpose of the technique is to create conditions for the development of healthy lifestyle among children of preschool age, to develop and improve all physical qualities, to attract as many boys as possible to regular water polo lessons, and also to increase interest in team sports. The content of the curriculum is theoretical, physical and technical training, as well as the basics of the tactics of playing water polo. The types of classes are thematic and integrated. Obligatory pedagogical diagnostics for individualization of education, child support, construction of its educational trajectory, correction of features of its development; optimization of work with a group of children. Especially important are sports competitions, as well as the involvement of parents in the educational process of the pre-school educational institution. The introduction of the method contributed to the growth of physical and swimming qualification, the formation of communicative qualities of senior preschoolers of 6-7 years old at a significant level, which confirms its effectiveness.

Avchinnikova D.A., Avchinnikova S.O. EXPERIENCE OF EXAMINATION STRESS BY STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF INTERHEMISPHERIC ASYMMETRY // Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 4 (18). P. 40-46

In the context of higher professional education humanization, the problem of identification of students exposed to distressed states during the session is considered. It is noted that data on the influence of interhemispheric differences on stress resistance is not enough in science. Specificity of examination stress as one of the forms of social stress is indicated, the main stress factors of the examination period are named. A review of the positions regarding the psychological differences attributed to individuals with right and left arm dominance is given. The stress level in students during the intersessional and examination period was diagnosed by the PSM-25 method, and its increase to average values was recorded. A comparison of the level of academic stress among right-handed and left-handed students is made on the basis of measuring the phenomenological structure of its experience. Cognitive, somatic and emotional stress symptoms of right-handers and left-handers were compared based on their self-evaluation. Differences in their emotional responses to stress were revealed. When assessing exam excitement in general, left-handers perceive the situation more dramatically, which was confirmed statistically. A qualitative analysis of coping strategies for students with different types of interhemispheric asymmetry was carried out. Differences in emotional copying of right-handed and left-handed people were revealed; first group preferred relatively productive strategies, while non-productive strategies predominated in the second group. Cognitive and behavioral strategies in both groups are relatively productive. A combination of indicators shows a higher risk of exam stress for left-handed people. The obtained data expand psychological concepts about individual differences associated with interhemispheric asymmetry and allow providing an individual-typological approach to the prevention of examination stress destructive consequences.

Glukhov A.P., Kamneva O.S., Solomina I.G. DIGITAL LITERACY OF TEACHERS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 5 (45). P. 39-47

It is noted that the transition to a distance learning format during the pandemic revealed a low level of digital literacy of teachers, which hinders the effective organization of the educational process with online tools. Attention is focused on the lack of development of criteria and indicators of digital literacy among teachers, the lack of its monitoring in general education organizations. The approaches of foreign and Russian researchers to the definition of the content of the concept of digital literacy as a benchmark for the digital transformation of the education system are analyzed. The authors adhered to an expanded interpretation of digital literacy as an element of mastering the culture of the digital age, which implies the presence of broad competencies in the field of search, production, communication and distribution of digital content and information, as well as the conversion of digital skills into pedagogical technologies. In order to identify the understanding of the structure of digital literacy by teachers in the context of limited remote interaction using digital means, the authors used the focus group method in an online format to conduct the study. Based on self-assessment of teachers, deficits in digital pedagogical training of teachers are determined in the context of organizing distance learning in the system of general education based on an analysis of the situation in the Siberian Federal District. A preliminary comparative assessment of the structure and level of digital literacy with students, obtained on the basis of self-analysis of the adaptive educational practices of teachers during the pandemic crisis, is proposed.

Koroleva D.B. CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES TO INTERCUTURAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AND THE WAYS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT // Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 3 (17). P. 45-50

The article examines different views on the nature of intercultural communicative competence (ICC). A distinction between ICC and related terms (especially intercultural competence) has been made. A special attention is paid to different methods and ways of forming intercultural communicative competence. It is argued that an individual can never be completely “interculturally competent” because the development of ICC is a continuous and ongoing process. Different factors affecting the development of ICC such as context, time factor and learners’ individual capacitites have been established. In particular, time factor is very important since development of ICC may be lifelong especially when it comes to changes in attitudes, beliefs and mentality. It is argued that no generic curriculum can be created to form ICC for its development depends on numerous parameters. Different views on whether country studies are required to the development of ICC have been analyzed proving that country studies are necessary but not sufficient. It is shown that class activities alone can not be sufficient to form ICC: it is necessary for learners to engage in extracurricular activities, in intercultural contacts, use audiovisual means, media, social networks. All these practices will help learners understand that languages are a real form of communiation.

Luo X. THE NECESSITY OF NATIVE LANGUAGE CULTURE TEACHING IN RUSSIAN TEACHING IN CHINA’S COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES // Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 2 (16). P. 125-130

It is well known that language and culture are interdependent and interrelated. Learning language through the help of culture has been greatly acknowledged in the language field. Meanwhile, it has been proved that barriers of cross-culture communication are bound to affect language learning if we fail to learn language with the help of native language. Particularly, the international symposium “Russian Education in China in the Past 300 Years” was held in Shanghai in 2008, after which research on Chinese Russian education history has been discussed heatedly. Reviewing history, we can see that Russian education in China has gone through a rough road. This thesis discusses the necessity of introducing Chinese culture in Russian of Russian Major in Chinese Higher Education. Chinese students majoring in languages are lacking in a basic understanding of Chinese culture, therefore, they are having enormous difficulty in introducing Chinese politics, economy, civilization, history, tradition, etc. when communicating with foreigners. This not only prohibits the interaction between Chinese people and foreigners, but discourages the spread of Chinese civilization. That is why this thesis puts forward the idea of comparative study of target language and native language in Russian teaching in Chinese higher education in that it improves students’ language skill and disseminates the brilliant Chinese culture as well.

Kovalenok T.P. PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL QUALITIES OF ENGINEERS // Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 1 (41). P. 181-191

The article considers the current state of research on psychological characteristics of representatives of engineering professions. A review of empirical studies over the past 12 years, devoted to the study of the psychological characteristics of professionals in various engineering specialties and students enrolled in the relevant areas of training, has been carried out. The analysis of the features of the organization of research, the subject of research and the methods used, on the basis of this, four main areas of research are distinguished: determination of factors affecting the parameters of professional activity; assessment of the severity of individual personality traits; determination of the features of the formation of professionally important qualities of an engineer; analysis of students’ ideas about the personal qualities required by engineers. It is indicated that studies that use the method of expert assessment prevail, while there are no detailed characteristics of the assessed qualities, and the organization of research does not allow identifying psychological characteristics specific only to engineers. The cognitive, individual-typological and personal qualities of engineers, which were distinguished in studies of different years, are described. Most often, the personal qualities of engineers include: volitional qualities (restraint, self-control, perseverance, etc.), qualities in which the attitude to work is manifested: responsibility, pedantry, conscientiousness, etc. qualities, self-confidence, courage, determination, independence, professional mobility, general culture, spiritual needs, the need for self-education and readiness for it, stress resistance. The necessity of forming the social qualities of the engineer’s personality, the development of volitional traits: the processes of planning, modeling, control, evaluation of one’s own activity is emphasized. It is concluded that it is necessary to organize professional and comparative studies to highlight the personality traits of a modern engineer.

Shtern O.V. FORMATION OF THE CONCEPT “EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATION” // Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 2 (20). P. 152-160

The article deals with the question of communication in its educational function from the ancient time till the present. It demonstrates the analytical survey of the formation of the given concept on different stages of the society development. In ancient time by means of communication people interchanged information and knowledge, therefore learned the truth. However, among the interlocuters a philosopher (teacher) was the one who tutored the conversational process. The research shows that in medieval times the situation changed: any interaction between people, or communication was under the church pressure and control. In the period of Renaissance and new time a student becomes a respected person. In “Great didactics” of Johann Comenius the author observes an educational process as an activity that by means of interaction helps to develop communicative skills. Later the Swiss pedagogue Pestalozzi within his method of easy communication demonstrates how pupils are able to develop their cognitive and analytical skills, ability to form and coherently convey thoughts and ideas with the help of comprehensive cooperation. The twentieth century offers a variety of new pedagogical systems. Self-development, self-education are the main principles of Montessori system. The equality between a teacher and a student is the main idea of education in “Summer-hill” school founded by A. Nill. S. Frene organized “Pedagogics in cooperation”. The author emphasizes the presence of interaction, cooperation, educational conversations between pupils in Frene’s system. Russian teachers Amonashvili, Shatalov, Lysenko and others supported the idea of cooperation and intercommunication in the education process. Amonashvilli’s “School of life” realizes the individualization of the learning process, interaction between children that encourages pupils to develop their communicative, sociable skills. The research shows that nowadays there are a lot of traditional and experimental schools. Occasionally educational communication occurs in every pedagogical system. However, the results indicate that as a separate section in the learning process communication in its educational function is on the forming stage. The research helps to understand, study and analyze communication and educational communication in the meaning of the involvement into socialization, interaction and cooperation between a teacher and children.

The analysis of the problem of development of independence in senior preschool age is presented. The urgency of purposeful psychological and pedagogical work with often ailing children and their families has been substantiated. The results of diagnostics of independence of 73 healthy and 73 often ailing children 5–7 years old are presented, a comparative analysis of the data obtained was carried out. Statistical analysis of the results obtained allows us to conclude that the average values of the numerical expressions of the development of independence are higher in the group of healthy children compared to the group of frequently ill children. The study of the reliability of differences in factual material in different age groups: children 5–6 years old and 6–7 years old showed that, with age, the development of independence of frequently ill children begins to lag significantly behind the development of the studied indicator in healthy children. Distinguish the determinants of the development of independence of often ailing children: insufficiency of professional development of independence in preschool education and spontaneity of raising children’s independence in the family. The directions of providing support to children and parents in the development of independence of often ailing children 5–7 years old are formulated.

Dolgikh N.A., Dolgikh M.N. CULTURAL CONGRUENCE AS A FACTOR OF FORMING ETHNIC COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF CREATIVE SPECIALTIES IN THE PROCESS OF ART EDUCATION // Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 66-78

Currently, there is a process of actualization of interest in ethnic roots, in native culture against the backdrop of a global trend – globalization. Ethnoculture is an important and effective means of educating and art education of a person. The principle of cultural diversity of education involves taking into account the characteristics of the native culture, using the possibilities of spiritual and material culture in the process of education and upbringing. It is especially important to consider the principle of cultural identity in the process of art education. The research problem arises from the contradiction between the presence of the pedagogical potential of ethnoculture and the insufficient development of educational programs aimed at the formation of ethnocultural competence of students of creative specialties. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the organization of the pedagogical process in accordance with the principle of cultural conformity, to develop and test in practice an educational program aimed at forming the ethnocultural competence of students of creative specialties: future artists, designers. A theoretical analysis of the literature made it possible to clarify the concept of ethnocultural competence, to identify three levels of ethnocultural competence as an integral characteristic of a person. Empirical research methods (studying the products of students’ activities, a pedagogical experiment) were used during the testing of a program aimed at the formation of ethnocultural competence. The content of the program is based on the motives and language of ethnoculture, and the implementation of the program takes into account three levels of ethnocultural competence: axiological, active, creative, and also consists of three stages. Simultaneously with studying the basics of composition, students in theory and practice get acquainted with the symbols of Kulai culture in order to comprehend the language of visual images. As a result of mastering the first stage of the program, a value attitude to ethnoculture is formed (axiological level of ethnocompetence). The second stage is distinguished by artistic and practical activities with immersion in ethnic culture, interpretation of motives and language of ethnic culture. The third stage is the creative stage of acquiring the individual author’s style of an artist, designer working in ethno-cultural traditions. The processes of globalization contribute to a revival of interest in native culture, in ethnic culture. Today, the necessity and relevance of using educational potential of ethnic culture is obvious. In this regard, the development of educational programs aimed at the formation of ethnocultural competence of students of creative specialties is of great importance. With the successful development of the program, students have the opportunity to reach the creative level of performing author’s graphic compositions and design projects. As part of the experimental activity, the content of the programs was clarified, didactic materials were developed, visual aids were systematized (samples of Kulai metal plastic in the form of tables, digital materials). A valuable didactic tool are the samples of the best works of students.
