The last decade of G. N. Volkov’s scientific creativity in the Republic of Kalmykia is analyzed and comprehended. The research material was publications about G. N. Volkov in the Republic of Kalmykia by his students, like-minded people, associates and prominent scientists, as well as the authors’ memories from personal meetings with him. The use of this unique and rich material allowed an attempt to study the last decade of the academician’s life during the so-called Kalmyk autumn. As a result, an attempt was made to analyze and reveal the path of the pioneer in the field of scientific knowledge, the essence of the concept developed by him, as well as the tools of its research. Ethnopedagogics is a universal science, which reveals the heritage of any nation, its spiritual, moral and educational potential, traditions and customs – in the same vein. Academician from Chuvashia is the successor of great classical teachers J. A. Komensky, J. H. Pestalozzi and K. D. Ushinskiy. Gennadiy Volkov is a creator of a new scientific pedagogical school, which is still relevant today, which has many Students and followers in the near and far abroad. The great son of the Chuvash people appears as a pioneer, a discoverer; an adherent of the historical kinship of the Kalmyk and the Chuvash peoples; as a romantic who deifies nature and as a public person. The quintessence of his scientific views is the concept of “personality-symbol” introduced and revealed by him in pedagogics and life. The last period of the academician’s life and his activity in the Republic of Kalmykia is described from many different sides in the present article. The Academician G. Volkov’s activity in Kalmykia was marked by the organization of a number of international scientific and practical conferences, the training of a wide range of scientific personnel – doctors and candidates of pedagogical science. Today they continue their great teacher’s work. A research laboratory of ethnopedagogic innovations was opened at Kalmyk State University at his initiative. Arshinskaya E.L., Korytova G.S., Korytova A.I. PSYCHOLOGICAL PREDICTORS AND RISK FACTORS OF EDUCATIONAL OVERLOADS AMONG THE STUDENTS OF GENEREAL SECONDARY SCHOOL. Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 3 (25). P. 82-93

The article presents the results of an empirical study of educational overload among the students of the main stage of secondary school. The theoretical and methodological substantiation of the research is given and its objective relevance for the modern system of General education is shown. The empirical phase of the study was conducted over several years (2012–2018). Were involved in 527 adolescent school students during their training in the sixth-eighth grades of the General school. Psychological diagnostic data were subjected to mathematical and statistical processing, classified, generalized and interpreted. The results revealed the relationship between subjective perception and objective educational overload and allowed us to come to the conclusion about the impact of educational overload on the psychological well-being of students of the main stage of the General school. The conclusion that the prevention of educational overloads should be guided on either normative regulation of separate types of educational activity or a subjective state of students is made. The generalized conclusion is that the reason of the educational overload is not the expense of the main educational load of students but visiting additional types of educational activities. The data obtained allow us to say that preventing the occurrence of educational overload leads to necessity to optimize the possibility of assimilation and study of the material during the performance of the basic types of educational activities. Recommendations of possible directions of preventive work with students are given. The implementation of preventive programs should be carried out both in educational and extracurricular activities with all subjects of the educational process – teachers, educators, as well as with the parents of students. It is shown that the task of the teacher-psychologist is to identify the factors that may further cause the occurrence of certain difficulties or deviations in the development of children, and their elimination through preventive work.

Zhiginas N.V. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THE FAMILY. Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 2 (16). P. 54-60

The article raises the issue of mental health and the family as the foundation of society and social development of the individual. Comprehensive study of the issue adequately meets urgent needs of a wide audience of clinicians, psychologists, teachers, therapists. The author notes that the evaluation of the psychogenic factors that underlie most psychopathological personality disorders and the neurotic register becomes extremely relevant for psychology. Mental health depends largely on the structure and content of micro social environment, but not on the family: every social stratum has its social and ethical standards, which define mechanisms of personal response and contribute to the prevention of mental maladjustment, which, in turn, indirectly shows the level of the individual, family and social welfare. The conclusion is that the mental health of the person, the individual and the family as a whole is harmed as a result of complex social processes of our time: pressure of economic insecurity, rise of ethnic conflicts, distortion of human relations. One of the main features of the problem of family mental health, according to the author is a multifactorial nature of the pathological, destructive impact on the family. It is a multilateral (psychological, social, natural-scientific) comparison of the leading mechanisms of behavior in everyday conditions, and in becoming more and more frequent emergency extreme circumstances should look for ways to create new modules of perfect, harmonious, balanced person and the family as a social basis of a healthy society. This allows, first, to come close to the most important tasks of studying clinical and sociogenic pathomorphism psychogenic illnesses and social dysfunction; secondly, to increase the multicast of the raised issues (by references to «related» universal problems); thirdly, to bring to problem solving both the experienced skilled researchers and young student audience, social workers, educators, psychologists and young doctors; finally, the integration of the latest knowledge in the field of a comprehensive treatment and prevention process is “multifaceted” and rapidly changes psychogenic patterns.

Filichev S.A., Lukashevich O.D., Taldonova N.V. THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENT’S ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING. Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 2 (20). P. 32-40

The article discusses the features of environmental training for students of Russian technical universities in the context of reforming the education system. The engineering and technical profile of the future bachelor is obliged to build the ecological and educational process differently than in the case of the humanitarian or natural-science areas of student preparation. The system, axiological and thesaurus approaches are offered as theoretical grounds for the environmental and professional training of the future engineer. Together they ensure the development of an ecological culture of the individual – the main goal of environmental education activities. The necessity of representing the technical university graduate’s ecological competency (including the totality of cognitive, creative-activity, motivational-value, reflexive-evaluative components) as a reflection of ecological culture’s formation is considered. The methods and forms of training that contribute to the formation of components of environmental competence of technical university students are described. The system approach is implemented through the use of categorical-system methodology as a tool. The modes of pedagogical interaction of the teacher and student in the model of compensatory homeostat are described and justified. The importance of formation of the ecologic-professional terminology of the future engineer is grounded and the prospect of using the thesaurus approach for this is promising. It shows the possibilities of developing it through a new method of learning – a triadic decoding, involving the identification of the essential characteristics of the defined term through a system of three complementary subordinate concepts. A number of information criteria describing the formation of the ecological-centric worldview, which is the foundation of the student’s ecological culture, is described. Forms and methods of formation of ecological values of technical university’s students are considered. The theoretical foundations of ecological training indicated in the work have a heuristic potential, as it opens the possibility of improving and developing methods of ecological and vocational training for students of technical universities.

Burilkina S.A., Suprun N.G. PREVENTION OF ASOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENTS: THE POTENTIAL OF SUBJECT-SUBJECT INTERACTION BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 190-196

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that early identification of the child’s psychological characteristics and unfavorable situations of upbringing in the family could contribute to the correction of his asocial behavior, primarily by creating conditions for subject-subject interaction between parents and children, necessary for the formation of a full-fledged personality. The purpose of our study is to study the attitude of parents to psychological training as a condition of subjectsubject interaction, and a way to prevent asocial behavior of adolescents. In the study, first of all, the conditions of subject-subject interaction, such as a set of cognitive, active and experimental role-playing games, were determined and practically confirmed. The conditions should be based on humanistic ideas and aimed at developing the child’s own activity with the help of parents, in the mode of subject interaction. Also, in the system of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents, the leading role of parents through subject-subject interaction is determined. The article analyzes the essence and content of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents from the position of subject-subject interaction with parents. The concept of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents by subject-subject interaction of parents and children was proposed. The analysis of the results of the empirical work allowed us to state the dynamics of value-trust interaction in the family, and the implementation of a set of training exercises, through subjectsubject interaction, ensured the effectiveness of prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents. The results of the study can be used by social educators, psychologists, and subject teachers, teachers of pedagogical universities in order to improve the process of subject-subject interaction between parents and children in the prevention of asocial behavior of adolescents.

Shaposhnikova T.D., Pshenko K.A. PILOT PROJECTS IN PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH. Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 6 (28). P. 111-121

The article aims at investigating methodological support and method of conducting for pilot projects in education. The example under consideration is the research of managing the cooperation between public adult associations and traditional educational institutions. The methodology of pilot studies is closely connected with the concept of the study and its theoretical framework. The purpose of the article is to consider ways of using pilot projects (pilot stages in research, pilot online surveys) in the research of managing the cooperation between public adult associations and traditional educational institutions. Research methods included various types of theoretical analysis, interpretation, experimental and diagnostic methods of collecting and processing empirical data. Authors of the article base their research on the concept of cooperation in social philosophy as a basic category of modern theoretical thinking, which explores the notions of simultaneity and bi-directionality – two essential characteristics of the mutual influence of interrelated objects aspiring to achieve a common goal. Pedagogical theory treats cooperation as one of the factors that can increase the efficiency of the upbringing and the socialization process of an individual. The educational potential of public adult associations and ways of using it are viewed in the context of the theory of civil society development. This theory takes into account such important aspects as managing this cooperation, organizing the research of this socio-cultural phenomenon, determining its content, characteristics, forms, ways and effective cooperation models. Pilot projects play an important part in research of socio-cultural phenomena. While being essentially experimental, they assist in gathering empirical data, verifying hypotheses and planning various stages of the research. They contribute to new guidelines for event management (the roadmap including stages and actions necessary to achieve the objectives of the proposed research). The article investigates ways of using pilot online surveys and their monitoring in order to find solutions in the field of research of the cooperation between public adult associations and traditional educational institutions.

Markova N.A., Anufriyeva T.N. STAGES OF MODERNIZATION OF LANGUAGE TRAINING AT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY ON BASE OF TOMSK POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 28-39

The article addresses the relevance of language training in the system of engineering education due to the change of modern educational paradigm towards the necessity of training a competitive specialist with a high degree of readiness to interact in the international professional environment. The analysis of the peculiarities and problems of language training in a technical university is the subject of a great number of scientific papers; however, this issue remains topical due to the permanent modernization of higher education and the improvement of training models and technologies. The aim of the article is to conduct scientific and methodological analysis of the processes of organization and management of language training, which had a unique format of experimental training at Tomsk Polytechnic University. The beginning of the “language boom” reforms can be considered as 1998, when the Comprehensive Program for Intensification of Foreign Language Training of Engineering Students was launched. By now this program can be the subject to analysis, as it has a 20- year history of evolution and by now there is no comprehensive description of the dynamics of language development in the scientific literature. The scientific and methodological analysis, including authors’ own pedagogical observations, is aimed at describing the five stages of language training development, identifying the causes that were the catalysts of change, evaluating measures to eliminate problems and contradictions, and measures that contribute to a more comfortable and effective environment for further development and formation. The authors describe and characterize in more detail the processes that are relatively innovative for the university system of language training. Adaptive language training instructional practices for undergraduates and elective courses of individual student choice have been considered as such processes. The authors conclude with their arguments regarding potential measures that could bring the situation to the level of qualitative changes and improvement of language training in other technical higher education institutions.

Belyaeva E.O., Kataev S.G., da Silva T., Konstantinova E. QUANTITATIVE ESTIMATION OF COMPETENCES LEVEL FORMATION AND EXPERT’S MODEL. Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 4 (22). P. 110-122

Implementing the competency-based approach in the education system in the current time is a step forward, it is an opportunity to see in a different way the structure of teaching and the target of the educational process. However, there is the problem of rejection of accepting the approach of competencies by the teaching community. In the opinion of the authors, among the many reasons that lead to inhibition of the introduction of the competence- based approach in real education structure, as more influence we can indicate the following: first, the lack of methods to determine the extent of competence training; second, the absence of a recognized methodology for interpreting the assessment of competence. In this work, we propose a model of the evaluation of a newly trained specialist of pedagogic courses, as the basis in the evaluation was used the quantitative methodology of competencies. The approach consists of several steps: establishing a set of competences, grouping competencies into blocks, quantitative assessment of the degree of competency formation, joint construction of “portraits”, analysis and interpretation of research results. The “indicator” method developed earlier by one of the authors has been applied to calculation of the level of formation of competences in the adapted look. The results of the approval of this model were made on the basis of the tests applied on Russian and Brazilian students.

Koltsova S.V. MIND-MAPPING FOR DEVELOPING LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN CHINESE LANGUAGE LESSONS BASED ON CHENGYU ANALYSIS. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 6 (34). P. 105-114

The article discusses the concept of linguistic and cultural competence and its role in modern intercultural communication. An overview of scientific literature on the problem of the development of linguistic and cultural competence is provided. A list of basic cultural units used for the development of the linguistic and cultural competence is presented as well. It is proposed to use Chinese idioms chengyu in order to develop students’ competence due to the fact that they contain information about the aesthetics, ethics, culture and history of the Chinese. The author also suggests employing mind mapping as it significantly facilitates the learning process due to an integrated, radiant, organized way of presentation. The article provides an example of a step-by-step analysis of a chengyu 万里无云 – wànlǐ wúyún – cloudless conducted in the Chinese language lesson (3rd year students, Chinese as a second foreign language). In addition, the article contains a list of 11 most frequently used idioms on the topic “Weather” which can be further used in Chinese language lessons. The main advantages of the method suggested in the article for the development of linguistic and cultural competence are outlined in the end of the article. It is concluded that the linguistic and cultural analysis of Chinese idioms chengyu along with mind-mapping can serve as a way to develop linguistic and cultural competence, as well as contribute to the development of both individual and collaborative research skills.

Bilalov O.N. TRAINING AS A MEANS OF FORMING EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES OF BEHAVIOR IN CONFLICT SITUATIONS AMONG CADETS OF MILITARY UNIVERSITIES. Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 1 (41). P. 84-91

This article is devoted to considering a range of issues related to the search for ways to improve the educational process in military higher educational institutions (HEIs) through the use of training teaching methods. The relevance of this problem is determined by the specifics and the highest level of complexity of modern problematic military-political situations and trends in their development. In this regard, very high requirements are imposed on the level of morale and combat qualities of the current Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and future military personnel. Satisfaction of these requirements is possible provided that the effectiveness of the educational process in military universities is increased, including through the use of training teaching methods. The main task and goal of the educational process of a military university is the formation of a whole complex of qualities in servicemen, which, in addition to moral, professional-combat and physical, include psychological qualities: developed perception, thinking, attention, memory, emotional and volitional stability. The level of psychological readiness of modern cadets of military universities determines their ability to adequately assess any situation, including a conflict one, to navigate in it, and independently make responsible decisions. The feasibility of widespread use in the educational process of training teaching methods is due to their high potential in ensuring psychological readiness, in the formation and development of psychological mechanisms for managing their behavior in stressful situations. Due to the specific content and organizational form, training is an effective means of forming and improving professionally significant qualities of future military personnel, a means of intensive training in behavior in conflict situations. It is obvious that the systematic use of trainings in the educational process of a military higher educational institution, the provision and observance of certain conditions during their organization and implementation can be a rather effective way of increasing the effectiveness of military education in general.

The definition of the concepts of creativity is given, methods of using three-dimensional modeling used in the visual arts and science are given, taking into account the latest data in this field of activity. The research material was the work of various authors in the field of the development of creativity and creativity, as well as the materials of researchers in the field of three-dimensional modeling. Their use made it possible to study the ideas about the development of creativity in younger students. In the creative process, the productive and reproductive components of thinking have a direct connection and the ability to move from one to another. Thanks to this, the evolutionary ability of intelligent systems can be provided, as well as the ability to reproduce, analyze and design, since any complex system develops on the basis of contradictory properties. Imagination is intermediate between perception, thinking and memory. The peculiarity of this form of the mental process lies in the fact that imagination is peculiar only to people who are able to modify the world around them, change reality, and also create something innovative. Today, the use of modern advances in computer technology is freely distributed in many areas. In order to develop a person’s creative thinking, the use of computer technologies, including 3D modeling, plays a significant role. It can be noted that the need to develop creative thinking through 3D modeling is due to the fact that information technology will bring benefits in the field of national education. On the basis of the analyzed theoretical base, a system of tasks has been developed, including: questions requiring creative activity; simple creative tasks at the reproductive level; creative projects for 3D modeling. The inclinations to creativity are inherent in every younger student who needs to initially prepare the child for the search for new ideas and non-standard solutions. Creativity not only develops creativity, but also broadens the horizons, fosters personal qualities such as initiative, dedication and perseverance.

Luo X. A NEW MODEL FOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN TEACHING RUSSIAN IN CHINA OF THE NEW ERA. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 87-92

The world we live is currently in the development mode of political, economic and cultural globalization, so foreign language education is receiving more and more attention all over the world. Thus, it is also imperative to establish a new model of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China. Meanwhile, both the changes that China has made under the “One Belt and Road Initiative” and the impact of Chinese culture’s “going out” strategy have brought new opportunities and challenges to Russian language teaching. Many Chinese experts and scholars have written several relevant articles to discuss the mode of teaching Russian talents under such new situation. In 2018, the Ministry of Education of China published the “National Standards for Undergraduate Professional Teaching Quality in Ordinary Colleges and Universities” (referred to as “National Standard”) providing a basis for the establishment of Russian professional quality standards and improving the quality of teaching Russian talents in the new era. The positioning of the “national standard” is reflected in the following three rules: 1) Professional orientation: combination of tradition and innovation. 2) Talent training: combination of comprehensive quality and practical ability. 3) Teaching staff: combination of teaching and scientific research. Meanwhile, the existing problems of Russian teaching in China are expounded.

Within a currently relevant competence-based approach, some aspects of the formation of professional competencies of future physics teachers when studying the course Theoretical Physics. Module: Classical Mechanics» are considered. This discipline is a fundamental component of the theoretical training of the teacher-physicist and plays the role of a knowledge basis, without which the successful activity of a physics teacher is impossible. Physics studies the general laws of the phenomena of nature, the properties and structure of matter, the forms of motion of matter and their mutual transformations. Theoretical Physics is given a primary place in the formation of the natural scientific world outlook and a holistic picture of the world, in addition, it contributes to the development of scientific thinking among students. Formation of professional competencies in students occurs in the process of studying a specific topic of Classical Mechanics: «The Lagrange function. Euler-Lagrange equations». In the study of General Physics, a course preceding the study of Theoretical Physics, in considering the dynamics of mechanical systems, Newtonian mechanics is used, which is based on Newton’s laws and Galilean’s principle of relativity. In the course of Theoretical Physics, equivalent formulations of Classical Mechanics are given – the Lagrangian’s and the Hamiltonian’s formalisms. In this paper, we consider the interrelation of Newtonian’s and Lagrange’s mechanics on the example of three variants of the plane flat balance problem.

Pigarev A.Y. METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO INCAPABLE STUDENTS. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 1 (29). P. 37-45

Differences in the mathematical abilities of different students are manifested in the fact that the same practice and exercises for students with different abilities give different results. For a capable student, these exercises lead to the mastery of mathematical knowledge and skills, for an incapable student do not. The reason for the inability to mathematics is the lack of working memory. There are two main approaches to solve the problem of teaching mathematics to incapable students: (1) training working memory and (2) reducing the load on working memory in the educational process. The results of the first approach are ambiguous: training working memory leads to an improvement in the performance of untrained tests for working memory, but it may not lead to noticeable changes in learning indicators associated with the working memory of the student. Accordingly, it remains to reduce the load on working memory in the educational process. Well known methods that reduce the load on working memory when studying mathematics are described. Automation of basic computing skills (arithmetic, trigonometric, geometric) is achieved with the help of computer trainers developed by the author: the mental calculations trainer, the trainer for developing skills in working with a trigonometric circle, the trainer for developing skills of using reduction formulas and the rectangular triangle solving trainer. The technique of working with trainers is based on the interval repetition method. Empirical data on the results of their implementation are presented.

Ilakavichus M.R. THE CONTENT OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF SOCIAL CENTERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES. Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 3 (17). P. 153-161

The results of the third stage of the research «Realization of pedagogical potential of social centers in the socio-cultural space of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States» are presented. Social centers are viewed as temporary informal associations of civic activists who solve diverse social problems. The growth of civil initiatives has determined the emergence of a group of people interested in special education. Analysis of innovative products of the social sphere, a survey among activists made it possible to identify elements of the educational request. These include the features of social self-organization, ways to implement the pedagogical potential of various socio-cultural institutions, effective interaction within the framework of public-private partnerships, management and socially-oriented marketing. Particularly noted is the formation of the ability to create full-fledged services for a specific target audience. There is a need for preparation for organizational and coordination, consulting activities, advocacy in conditions of social selforganization. The emerging trend of the formation of the described content of education replicates the world experience. Social work in a broad sense in the countries of Asia and Eastern Europe is also based on competencies related to working in the territorial community, the activation of available public resources. An actual format of educational interaction is determined – non-formal education. This fact is explained by the maximum orientation of this model of training on the participants’ requests, the variability in determining the place and time of the meeting. Today conferences, seminars, internships, virtual mentoring are relevant. Currently, the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States have a corps of nonformal education coaches whose competencies are formed in the humanitarian projects of the European Union in the direction of the Eastern Partnership. The results of the analysis of thematic proposals in the educational market are presented. Institutions of formal education in the field of social work offer training programs that pay attention to pedagogy, psychology and management. The content of educational programs for three types of modules is determined: general cultural, general professional (basic), special professional competences.

Fomina N.A., Aipova M.M. FEATURES OF THE MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF RESPONSIBILITY IMPLEMENTATION. Pedagogical Review. 2022. Issue 1 (41). P. 142-154

The authors substantiated the relevance of the study of the characteristics of moral consciousness and responsibility as a personality trait of modern youth on the example of university students. In the process of studying the responsibility of students as a system of content-semantic and instrumental-style components, 2 groups were identified among them: with “energetic” and “asthenicdifficult” types of realization of this personality trait. Students with the “energetic” type were distinguished by a more stable and conscious desire to manifest and develop it, broad sociocentric motivation, developed internal self-regulation, although with the dominance of personal goals, subjective productivity and insufficient development of skills of responsible behavior, while students with “asthenic difficult” type were more characteristic of frequent avoidance of responsibility, greater external regulation, dominance of asthenic experiences and emotional-personal problems due to self-doubt, low self-esteem, increased anxiety in the process of its manifestation. The features of the moral consciousness of the selected groups of students are analyzed: their value orientations, attitudes in the motivational-need-related sphere, moral consciousness, moral selfdetermination, attitude to the observance of moral norms. Thus, individuals with an “energetic” type of responsibility realization revealed a high value of the values of spiritual satisfaction and preservation of individuality, recognition and respect of other people, help and mercy, education, professional life and hobbies; dominance of the socio-psychological attitude towards freedom; emotional attitude to various strategies of moral behavior, average readiness to comply with moral norms with a high desire for truthfulness; motives for avoiding disapproval of significant others, striving to fulfill duty and obey accepted rules as a basis for moral choice. For the representatives of the “asthenic-difficult” type, the values of spiritual satisfaction and preservation of individuality, self-realization in the spheres of education and professional life were also most important, but in real life they more often realized the values of rest and pleasant pastime. Among their socio-psychological attitudes, the predominant need was to get pleasure from the process of the performed activity, freedom and independence. They recognized moral behavior and the significant influence of moral self-regulation of the individual and environmental factors on it; adopted (or did not accept) various strategies of moral behavior at the emotional and cognitive levels; demonstrated a positive attitude towards the observance of moral norms, an average willingness to implement them in their behavior; a high level of truthfulness and were guided by the motive of good relationships in situations of moral choice. The connections between the peculiarities of moral consciousness and personal responsibility of students are revealed. The description of the individual-typological features of the implementation of responsibility by students, as well as their connections with the peculiarities of moral consciousness, constitutes the scientific novelty of the research results presented in the article.

Kuznetsova T.V. DEVELOPMENT OF COGNITIVE ABILITIES IN CHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION THROUGH THE TECHNOLOGY OF STEP-BY-STEP FORMATION OF MENTAL ACTIONS IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING THE ELEMENTS OF RESEARCH ACTIVITIES. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 197-205

The purpose of this article is to consider the possibility of using the technology of step-bystep formation of mental actions in the process of teaching children the elements of research activity, as a means of developing the cognitive abilities of younger schoolchildren with mental retardation. The material of the study was a theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the topic of research: the theory of step-by-step formation of mental actions by P. Ya. Galperin; the provisions on the development of cognitive abilities of younger schoolchildren as a result of developing training by V. V. Davydov, A. V. Zaporozhets, L. V. Zankov, A. N. Leontiev; approaches to the development of cognitive abilities of children with mental retardation by N. V. Babkina, L. N. Blinova, A. D. Vilshanskaya, G. N. Penin, U. V. Ulenkova, L. M. Shipitsina. The theoretical analysis of the scientific and methodological literature suggests that the technology of step-by-step formation of mental actions can be effectively used to teach younger students with mental retardation the elements of research activity at different levels of independence and complexity, and thereby develop students’ cognitive abilities. The relevance of addressing the topic of the development of cognitive abilities in children with mental retardation (hereinafter referred to as PDA) is due to the fact that this category of children is one of the numerous groups represented in general education organizations that implement inclusive educational practice, since PDA can be observed in most categories of children with disabilities and is secondary in nature.

The relevance and heuristic value of the article lies in the fact that the materials presented in it will give reason to researchers, scientific supervisors of graduate students, organizers of science and the graduate students themselves to understand how to ensure the highest productivity of training highly qualified personnel, to increase the prestige of research activities. The problem of a modern graduate student is not that he is not able to generalize well-known materials and that he cannot offer something new in his field of knowledge, but how to check the effectiveness of what is offered as organically «fit» theory into experimental designs. Simply put, how to build a relevant experiment. It is in this that the main value of the materials presented in the article is seen, which will help the subjects of this process most reasonably approach the choice of approaches to the organization of postgraduate training, methods and techniques of experimental research, building its content and presenting the results. The subject of the work is the mechanisms (approaches, methods, means) of studying the readiness of graduate students for research activities in the context of scenario-event organization of the educational process. The novelty of the work is that it shows how one of the main components of the productivity of postgraduate training – readiness for research activities can be qualimetrically evaluated by measuring three components: the level of selfrealization; motivation and formation of relevant competencies. The practical significance of the work is seen in the application of scenario approach models to the preparation of graduate students and the incorporation of various «events» into these models, in the systematic construction of the main stages of the experimental work and the interpretation of its results for each of the measured parameters.

Abakumova I.V., Godunov M.V. PECULIAR PROPERTIES OF RESEARCH OF MEANINGFUL REGULATION FROM INTERPARADIGMAL POSITIONS. Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 6 (28). P. 202-208

The results of the theoretical study of approaches to the study of the development of personality and meaning sphere in the presence of several existing paradigms in psychology are presented. Unlike the category of signification, the category of meaning has the attributes of an interdisciplinary construct as a philosophical, linguistic and psychological concept. Due to the fact that the category of meaning is based on different sciences about man, modern research of the semantic sphere of man is carried out from the positions of different paradigms. Different research paradigms consolidate different views and conventional agreements of the scientific community. Emerging in such paradigms scientific picture of the world delimits the field of scientific knowledge of psychological phenomena, specializing only in allocated as the dominant factors of their manifestation in human life. Modern psychological science develops within the framework of four main research paradigms. The epistemological paradigm considers cognition separately from man as a cognizing subject and is aimed at obtaining experimentally verified knowledge. The phenomenological paradigm is based on experience as an emotional understanding. The activity paradigm overcomes the opposition of consciousness and the world through the cognition of human activity in the world. The existential paradigm reflects the need to take into account the needs of the human spirit, ignoring which will not allow the uniqueness of the individual. All four paradigms, having their strengths and weaknesses, coexist simultaneously in modern psychology.

Sazonova N.I., Raykova O.A. THE COMMUNICATIVE ASPECT IN EXCURSIONS ON RELIGIOUS STUDIES: THE EXPERIENCE OF TOMSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 6 (34). P. 140-151

The article analyzes the problem of communication between the guide and the audience in excursions on the topic of religious culture. The experience of conducting various types of religious excursions at Tomsk State Pedagogical University is presented: survey and thematic excursions by confessions, the religious component of the city excursion. The specificity of communication is highlighted on excursions conducted by a teacher or guide, and on excursions conducted by a representative of the confession. Methodical approaches typical for each type of excursion are determined, the results are analyzed. The authors identified the limitations characteristic of the traditional communication model based on the understanding of religious culture as an object external to the guide and the group. Such an excursion provides an initial acquaintance with the confession, but is ineffective if a deeper study of religion is required. This problem is caused by the contradiction between the phenomenological approach, which presupposes the study of religion within the framework of its own internal logic, and the externality of the guide in relation to religious culture. The ways of overcoming these limitations through a combination of immersion in a religious culture with external accessibility in relation to this culture are shown. Such a communication model is provided by an excursion led by a representative of the confession, who acts as a mediator, a mediator between the experience of the confession and the cultural environment. The conclusion is made about the system-forming role of the communicative aspect in a religious excursion and its specificity for this type of excursion, the need for different communication models to ensure the cognitive interest of students, including the need to involve representatives of religious confessions in conducting excursions.
