Vereshchagina N.G., Fayzullayeva E.D. PHENOMENA OF A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE OF THE WORLD OF A PEDAGOG: STUDYING VIEWS OF THE BACHELORS’ MAJORING IN “PRESCHOOL EDUCATION”. Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 2 (16). P. 100-109

The article discusses the phenomena of a professional image of a pedagog’s world. Presented the content and the results of the research based on bachelor’s presentations majoring in “Preschool education”, about achievements and difficulties, meanings and values of the professional activity. Professional image of the world is a significant characteristic of the concept of the wholeness of the professional education which is a realization of the systematic approach in education. To study the formation of the understanding of the professional image of the pedagog’s world among the Bachelor degree students majoring in 44.03.01 Pedagogical education and specializing in “Preschool education” a study was held based at FGBOU VO “Altai state humanitarian-pedagogical university named after V. M. Shukshin” in Biysk in 2016. The study included full time students of the psychology-pedagogical department years 1 through 4 (n = 17) and among distant learners (n = 46). The total number of the students equaled 63 and 27% of them were full (day time students) and 73 % of them were distant learners. The conducted study allows to make a conclusion about the specific understanding of the professional image of the pedagog’s world among students who study at a pedagogical institute and specialize in “Preschool education”. It is possible to recognize the differences in defining accomplishments and difficulties among students with and without the professional experience. It was found, for example, that most students who work in preschool institutions connect their own professional accomplishments and difficulties to their time management. Those without the experience connect their personal accomplishments and difficulties to their exam preparations. They also have different understandings of the meaning and values of the pedagogical work: pre-school teachers, above all recognize the value of raising and nurturing preschoolers and students without the experience – the value of educating them. The main accomplishments in the professional practice are connected by the respondents with upbringing, educating and development of children. The study also showed that most of the Bachelors lack the understanding of the significance of their own development, education and improvement in their professional practice. According to the authors, focusing on selfimprovement and self-perfecting is the most important part of the professional image of the world both among future and currently practicing pedagogs. The found fact of undervaluing self-development and education by the students during their pedagogical practice allows to conclude that it is needed to have a goal to supervise and guide the process of the formation of the professional image of the world of the future pedagog.

Baklanova E.A., Barbasoyeva M.V. SOME REASONS AND WAYS OF COMMUNICATIVE FAILURES’ PREVENTION IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS FOREIGN TO LAO STUDENTS. Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 5 (27). P. 117-129

The practice of teaching Russian to Lao cadets and observing the unsatisfactory learning outcomes of this group led the authors to conclude that it is necessary to identify the causes of problems and outline possible solutions. The relevance of the study stems from the need to formulate guidelines for teaching the Russian language to Lao cadets, taking into account the difficulties identified, as well as the characteristics of their native language. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the classification of errors found during the experiment and the illustration of the mechanism for the formation of communicative failures. The practical significance of the study is determined by the preparation of a number of guidelines for working with students from Laos. The authors reviewed studies that describe the Lao language, compare the typological structure of the Russian and Lao languages, and provide an account of the complications faced by the Lao when learning Russian. For a detailed analysis of the types of errors, their classification and identification of system links, an experiment was conducted. The experimental group was offered assignments of the reproductive and productive types. The results are presented in the appendix, which reflect the types of errors with examples, the number of assumptions made by each respondent and the overall result. The erroneous memorization and reproduction of vocabulary is due to phonetic interference and mechanical transfer of the principles of spelling. The low rate of vocabulary expansion is explained by the extensive synonymy of the Russian language, on the one hand, and the undeveloped lexical system of the Lao language, on the other hand. Various problems with syntax are based on the discrepancy between the fixed word order of the Lao sentence and the free word order in the Russian one, which leads to an incorrect interpretation of the subject-object relations. This results in the “intonational” articulation in oral speech and incorrect graphic articulation in writing. As a result, the totality of the above reasons leads to communication failures. The authors formulated a set of guidelines for increasing the effectiveness of training for Laotians, taking into account the complex of the causes found.

Dmitriyev I.V., Subbotina O.V., Kravchenko S.V. TRAINING A DIGITAL PATHWAYS ADVISOR (IN LINE WITH THE ACTIVITIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REGIONAL MODEL OF ADVANCED EDUCATION CALLED INTELLECT AREA). Pedagogical Review. 2019. Issue 2 (24). P. 74-82

Training education specialists working on digital educational platforms is highly relevant and approved not only in educational system, but also within the country’s economic system, where digitalization is one of the leading priorities. The level of research of challenges, that such training courses are facing, is obviously low. Hence, the article aims to develop training techniques in line with regulatory and organizational potential of modern Russian education. Given proposals are subject to an integrated model being developed on the basis of the existing experience of schools in the Tomsk region. Best practices of the domestic education have been considered at the same time. For example, an integrated nature of the model was provided by a set of requirements for the workers selection, their personal and professional characteristics, prerequisites for regulatory standards of their employment, organization charts, and system of their refresher training. The given model takes into maximum consideration conditions and development prospects of the regional labor market. Hence, its practical implementation can have a positive impact on the economy of the region over the system of local education. Results of the research include some proposals that provide a model for training of such specialists. As a conclusion, this model can be implemented in educational process of each school without any discrepancy with the existing regulations. The importance of the research results was approved by its use in the advanced education for teachers and within the activities of the Tomsk region schools.

Kropocheva T.B., Nalimova T.A., Sineva M.V. PREPARING THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER-TO-BE FOR MAKING OF THE LESSON SYNOPSIS. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 2 (30). P. 9-22

An analysis of scientific and methodological literature allowed us to conclude that there has been an increase in scientific publications on the problem of training of the elementary school teachers-to-be. However, many issues related to the preparation of the teacher for organizing and conducting a lesson according to the Federal Educational Standards for Elementary General Education (FES-EGE) are debatable and produce drawbacks in the methodological preparation of the teacher-to-be. These drawbacks determined the study problem: how to prepare the elementary school teacher-to-be for the making of the synopsis of the lesson? The objective of the study is to reveal and substantiate the methodology of the preparation of the elementary school teacher-to-be for the making of the synopsis of the lesson. The theoretical relevance of this study is that it concretizes the essence and content of the preparation of the teacher-to-be for the making of the synopsis of the lesson and theoretically substantiates the methodology of the preparation of the teacher-to-be for the making of the lesson synopsis. The practical relevance is that it has developed the organization of independent work by the teacher-to-be regarding his or her preparation for the making of the lesson synopsis according to FES-EGE. Providing the good training of specialists requires not only observing the governmental educational standards that determine minimum requirements to the content and level of the training but also a more effective control of mastering the content of education by the students including independent work that is now a significant part compared to classroom lessons. The theoretical theses of the methodology of preparation of the teacher-to-be for making of the lesson synopsis are illustrated by a synopsis performed in accordance with the modern typology and structure of the lesson described in FES-EGE. The preparation of the elementary school teacher-to-be for making of the synopsis of the lesson is defined as a process including the formation of a system of knowledge (the typology, goal setting and the structuring of the lesson), skills (the skills of determining the type, the goal, the didactic tasks, the universal teaching actions, the structure of the lesson and the methods of teaching) and personal and professional qualities (creative imagination and pedagogical improvisation) providing the effective organization of the lesson according to the requirements of FES-EGE.

Semenova N.A. EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: REVIEW OF PUBLICATIONS IN SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS. Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 1 (19). P. 191-197

The article reveals an urgent topic for modern education: the organization of children’s research work. The author has analyzed the articles in the scientific regional journals “TSPU Bulletin” and “Scientific Pedagogical Review” (Tomsk). The analysis made it possible to identify the main trends in the study of educational research activities: 1. organization of research activities in the study of various academic disciplines (physics, mathematics, literature); 2. formation of research competencies of schoolchildren, including in the context of profile education; 3. features of the organization of research activities with children of preschool and primary school age. In addition to these directions, there are other aspects of the topic. This is the experience of holding children’s scientific conferences and competitions, the application of educational research in the development of gifted children. The review of the contents of the articles allows us to draw a number of conclusions about the state of this scientific and pedagogical problem. The author showed that there is a deficit of articles on scientific directions in this field. For example, the review of articles did not reveal the existence of publications about the possibilities of applying the study in the teaching methods of certain disciplines (history, social science, technology, chemistry). These deficits open up opportunities for new pedagogical research.

Minov V.A. NOMADIC DIDACTICS: SCHOOL EDUCATION FOR NOMADISM. Pedagogical Review. 2014. Issue 3 (5). P. 76-80

The topic of consideration is the connection between the ways of schooling and the society’s lifestyle. It is asserted that the settled way of living and the cities are the basis of Y. A. Komensky’s didactics. The problem denoted in the article is the gap between the nomadic lifestyle of large groups of people and their accepted way of schooling, which is peculiar to the settled society. The problematic situation of nomadic Nenets is aroused by the discrepancy of the way of schooling and their lifestyle. The complex of contradictions of forces for projection of a new image of schooling for nomadic Nenets is being formulated. A new term “nomadic didactics” is being introduced. The place of nomadic didactics is stated in the system of didactic conception.

Sotnikova O.A., Malanov I.A. SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL ADAPTATION OF PERSONALITY AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM. Pedagogical Review. 2020. Issue 4 (32). P. 152-160

Recently, the problem of studying the socio-pedagogical adaptation of the individual has become very relevant. The meaning of this term, at first glance, seems quite obvious and understandable. But, in different sources this concept very often denotes different phenomena, which leads to a misunderstanding of each other by specialists whose research is actually aimed at the same thing. In our opinion, having examined the main approaches to the concept of “adaptation” as a whole, having studied the structure, criteria, mechanisms and features of this process, we can overcome these differences. Based on this, the article considers a number of approaches to the study of adaptation. Attention is paid to the works of famous scientists who are considering the studied concept at different functional levels. J. Piaget, G. Selye, and others studied the physiological approach. The psychological approach was reflected in the works of B. F. Berezin, N. F. Naumov, I. M. Popov, V. I. Lebedev, and many others. etc. And as part of the consideration of the most significant social level, we single out the studies of A. B. Georgievsky A. B. and V. P. Petlenko, M. Weber, T. Parson and M. Romm. Particular attention is paid to a systematic analysis of this problem (A. G. Maklakov, A. A. Rean, A. Nalchajyan, etc.), the phenomenon of personality socialization is considered (D. Dollard, Walter, T. Shibutani, O. I. Zotova, I. K. Kryazheva). As a result of the study, a structure of socio-pedagogical adaptation is proposed, based on the personality model of B. D. Parygin, consisting of three interconnected and detailed levels.

Rumbeshta E.A., Zhukevich E.I., Vlasova A.A. ACTIVATION OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY OF SCHOOLCHILDREN IN TRAINING PHYSICS. Pedagogical Review. 2021. Issue 3 (37). P. 206-212

The problem of the development of the cognitive activity of schoolchildren and its active application is posed. The solution to this problem is associated with the development of the cognitive interest of students at the age when they begin to study physics. The cognitive activity of students of this age in teaching physics is associated with the development of such mental operations as understanding, logical thinking and depends on the level of their development. The organization of active cognitive activity of schoolchildren in the classroom, in the process of which the ability to understand the presented material is formed, cognitive interest develops and logical thinking requires special methods and a certain organization of lessons, which is currently not sufficiently developed. It is proposed to do this on a system of problematic lessons. Using the example of a specific development of one of these physics lessons, it is shown that the involvement of schoolchildren in solving problems in the classroom and the use of a set of methods and techniques that allow them to be solved, activates mental activity and cognitive abilities. Heuristic conversation, the inclusion of some students in practical activities and interactive observation are used as methods and techniques. It analyzes how it is possible to organize a heuristic conversation when conducting problem lessons, and what types of questions to use in the framework of the conversation, how to organize the practice. The success of the proposed methods for the development of the cognitive activity of schoolchildren is confirmed by specific quantitative data on the development of the cognitive interest of 7th and 8th grade students: the level of participation in heuristic conversation, the complication of the nature of the questions that involve in the conversation, as well as the readiness for reflection and self-development.

Further development of humankind is possible in the context of a dialogue of different national, cultural and religious communities, who are able to understand and accept another culture as a positive equivalent to their own. The articles deals with the challenges of globalization, namely, the complex problems of ethnic relations within Russia. The problem is analyzed from the standpoint of possible use of successful practices of previous periods in history of Russia. The main message is to educate young generations of RF ethnic tolerance with positive examples. Replicating negative information of interethnic relations plays a negative role in everyday life and the course of education for younger generations. The most possible attention is paid to development of principles of tolerant attitudes towards different ethnic groups of the country – the titular nation, i.e. ethnic Russians, ethnic minorities and immigrants. State authorities should be involved in the process as well. Education with positive historic and cultural ethnic experience, dialogue, cultural practices, multicultural studies pre-arranged as a realistic program are thought to be reliable means to develop more tolerant younger generations. Professionalism in this matter is rather significant: profound knowledge of ethnic characteristics guarantees mutual respect and acceptance while solving the problems of ethnic conflicts.

The problem of developing a system of advanced training for teachers in Russia is considered. As a conceptual basis of modernization, it is proposed to understand it as part of adult education, composed of systemic (implements formal education) and non-systemic (implements non-formal education) areas. An urgent direction in the development of adult education is the formation of the infrastructure of these areas, as well as the organization of their coordination. This will make it possible to fully realize the principles of openness and continuity, the potential for complementing formal and non-formal types of education. Non-formal education is considered as a resource for supplementing the deficit of the general cultural content of adult education, a source of humanization, which gives it mobility and increases the motivation of students. On the basis of the research of the requests of pedagogical workers of Russia, the deficits of professional competencies recognized by them, the main deficit is identified – inability to organize interaction with generation Z, ignorance of the specifics of the modern sociocultural situation. The authors have developed and tested Russian-language version of the questionnaire “Psychological Capital” (“PsyCap”) for use in higher education. This questionnaire was developed and based on the F. Lutans, K. Joseph and B. Avolio questionnaire. They created it for the needs of organizational psychology. B. Lutans, K. Lutans and S. Jensen modified it for the field of education. Psychological capital includes four parameters: self–efficacy (confidence in the successful achievement of goals and in solving problems); hope (the ability to redirect ways to achieve goals); optimism (is a positive attitude to success); resilience (is the ability to withstand difficulties). “PsyCap” questionnaires in various modifications (“PsyCap-24”, “PsyCap-12”) are widely used in modern psychology. There is no translation and adaptation of this questionnaire in Russian psychology, especially for the needs of higher education. It determined the relevance and purpose of this study. There are 130 students – future psychologists of Cherepovets State University took part in the survey. The authors checked their questionnaire and determinate it is reliability and validity. They do it by splitting the test into two parts. Authors use Cronbach’s alpha coefficient to check the internal consistency of each scale of the questionnaire, and the generalized indicator with all scales. Authors verify empirical validity by comparing the scales of the questionnaire with the results obtained using other known psychology tests. As a result, authors concluded that other researchers can use that questionnaire in the field of higher education to diagnose the psychological capital of students.

Shpet E.N. SUPPORT OF HIGHER SCHOOL STUDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL MIGRATION. Pedagogical Review. 2018. Issue 1 (19). P. 70-73

The article deals with the organization of additional forms of work with migrant students and the creation of such special pedagogical conditions with the purpose of acquiring new educational experience through the realization of their own educational needs and manifestations the student’s subjective position. The process of accompanying migrant students includes forms that allow students to adapt to educational activities and organize their activities of the teacher and the student, taking into account the realization of their own needs, thus forming a manifestation of the position of the subject of the student. Thus, the educational supporting of educational migration is to select students resulting forms of education taking into account their opinions and specificity of education in a particular institution. Educational forms of support for educational migration help migrants acquire a new educational experience, not by adapting to new conditions, but by implementing their own educational needs and adaptation as a process and result of student’s self-change and self-learning. We believe that the strategy of supporting education is more effective than the adaptation strategy, since it takes into account the student’s objective position in the teaching process. It is proved that educational support facilitates the immersion of the student in a new educational environment and the acquisition of a new personal experience. An example of the form of educational support is the educational meetings with migrant students.

Shmat’ko S.V. PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL SELF-DETERMINATION OF SENIOR PUPILS IN PEDAGOGICS PROFILE CLASSES: HISTORICAL REVIEW. Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 2 (16). P. 157-163

The results of the research on the professional and personal self-determination of teenagers in pedagogical classes in pre-revolutionary and modern Tomsk are presented in the article. It is determined that the subject of self-determination has not been fully examined in scientific and methodical literature: the interest in professional determination prevails over the personal one. The elimination of this gap in studying the historical experience allowed us to establish specific character of correlation of the personal and professional self-determination in students training, to show the defining educational effects for children staying in pedagogical classes and to track the influence of training on their adulthood. It appeared, that the process of professional self-determination in teaching classes accompanied improvement of effectiveness of “self-determination” process which is typical of adolescence. It is important that the indispensable success of personal self-determination in pedagogical classes was not the main reason for selecting the teacher’s career. This rejection of the teaching profession, which student do not find appealing, should not be considered as a less useful result than the entering the pedagogical university by the applicant. Finally, according to the analysis of the interviews of teachers and graduates of pedagogical classes in Tomsk it turned possible to show the leading educational effects of students’ staying in these educational structures and to trace the impact of the pre-service teacher training in their adulthood.

Zhiginas N.V., Sukhacheva N.I. SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF CHILD AGGRESSION. Pedagogical Review. 2017. Issue 4 (18). P. 34-39

The article deals with the problem of ag gressive behavior of preschool and primary school children. A comprehensive study of this issue adequately meets the urgent needs of a wide audience of educators and psychologists, as well as the social demand of society. A detailed analysis of the types of child aggression is given. Direct, physical, verbal, indirect and instrumental aggression displayed by children are singled out, forms of its manifestation are described. The relationship between the types of child aggression and the typology of parental attitudes to the problem is analyzed. Social and ethical standards determine the mechanisms of personal response and contribute to the prevention of deviant behavior, which is laid at an early age and indirectly reflects the level of individual, family and social well-being. The characteristics and style of the parental attitude to the problem of the child’s aggressive be havior are presented and the forecast of a possible correction is given. The emphasis is placed on the problems of intra-family interaction. Based on the indicators, in the process of working with children and parents, the following data were obtained, characterizing the specificity of family upbringing. 75 % of preschool children could not answer the question “what is good and what is bad”, 23 % called mainly ethical standards. Revealed a direct correlation between the aggressive behavior of preschool and primary school children and the style of parental upbringing and intra-family interaction. We observe mostly liberal-democratic and conniving styles of family education. This can be justified by the fact that the parents became the socalled “children of the 90”, due to socio-economic upheavals and instability themselves brought up in conditions of deprivation, unconsciously copying the behavior of parents, those who strived to provide material support for the child, substituting for material goods the need to educate moral and moral qualities.

The article considers the process of students’ critical thinking development through the English language resources. The authors highlight the importance of English in the developing of students’ universal competencies and their adaption to the current professional requirements. The article outlines the essential critical thinking skills that allow students to comprehend the received material, break down the material into its constituent parts, to distinguish relevant information from extraneous material, to synthesize, to infer and evaluate it. The educational foreign-language text is used as a means of students’ critical thinking development. The authors emphasize the text’s multifunction nature and its contribution into enhancement of students’ thinking activity. Despite the teachers’ keen interest in the process of critical thinking developing some authors prove the lack of methods and techniques promoting its growth. The article gives an overview of Bloom’s taxonomy and outlines its application in the educational process. The taxonomy is widely used to set educational objectives, to formulate motivating exercises and monitor headway in knowledge and skills developing. The study shows that not all textbooks and tasks are intended to enhance critical thinking skills. So, the authors analyzed their English textbook and changed their approach to work with the texts.
